So we were told by a customer of ours that she had sent us something in the mail a couple weeks ago... so I was kinda curious as to what was coming to us, but sorta forgot about it until it came in yesterday.

just for my own reference. haha

combine:
6-7 peeled & sliced apples
1 cup sugar & brown sugar mix
3 Tbsp flour
1 T cinnamon
2 t vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

Tenderflake puff pastry - cut into 16 squares & roll out.
wrap pie filling into pastry in rustic croustade style

sprinkle with:
2 parts sugar, 1 part cinnamon mix

bake at 375 for 20 to 25 mins

So Tuesday was our interview with a local e-show that is set to launch in January. We just pumped out some new stuff and had some friends model in a small runway show that was filmed in a flower shop in Hamilton :) The interview went alright, but I think we're pretty happy with how our outfits looked. All of the photos were taken by my beautiful friend, Jacqueline! (Unless she's in the photo... in which case, it was just taken with her camera ;) ) ♥

Yeah yeah, two weeks in a row with no tutorials. Laaaaaame.

We've been keeping busy sewing a new batch of things for our shop & to take into Periwinkle.

Tonight Sam & I had an interview with an online show called Monkeybiz that's premiering in January. We prepped a bunch of clothes, gathered some hot friends had a mini fashion show for the camera & got interviewed! They asked that they just talk to one of us so I did the talking on behalf of us... UGHHHH. I think when I talk to anyone, I can hold a conversation for hours but I clam up at the sight of a camera :( . HOPEFULLY I don't seem like an idiot or a douche! They didn't even ask me difficult questions but I stumbled over my words a bit... We'll see how the editing goes, haha.

Our friends looked amazing modeling our winter stuff though! Lots of leggings & hoodies & a couple dresses... Well post some photos when I get them from my friend. & In January when the episode comes out, I'll definitely post it so you guys can hear my horrible voice. haha

Today when I was driving home, I set up my GPS to direct me along this familiar route, just for kicksies. I have no idea HOW I set it up, I mean, I just chose my home address, but it literally told me EVERYTHING opposite of where I wanted to go.

It tried to get me to get off the highway at EVERY exit that came along. But instead of going right to where the exit was, it told me to go left. Every time I hit a fork & had to go left, it'd tell me to go right. It told me to u-turn on the Gardiner. THAT IS 100% THE OPPOSITE. I just don't get it because just the British lady voice was telling me to do all that & the green line & arrow was right. Imagine if I was going somewhere I didn't know the directions to? I would have ended up in like Nunavut.

Anyways, I worked my first shift at Periwinkle boutique today & it was tons of fun :)
If you're in the Toronto area, you can now not only visit my clothes but visit ME on Saturday afternoons :) WOO!

So I want to start another "day" to gush over our weekly obsession. We would have already had a Gerard Butler week and then an SNL 'what up with that?' song week.


BUT WHAT WOULD I CALL THAT DAY? "obsession wednesday" doesn't have the same ring to it as "tutorial tuesday" (mostly because lack of alliteration haha).
