Nickelodeon Pulls Last 5 'Korra' Episodes

It was only a matter of time…

Since its June 27 premiere, The Legend of Korra has been troubled with low ratings. From as high as 1.5 million on the first episode to as low as 1.1 million on the fourth and fifth episodes, it was only a matter of time before episodes were either rescheduled or pulled completely.
Now, the network has started pulling the episodes completely. After seven new episodes of Book Three’s 13 have aired, Nick has pulled one episode from this Friday as well as all four episodes from August 1 and 8.
Episode 8 “The Terror Within” is still airing this Friday at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

No word on when (or where) the remaining five episodes will air. With a Comic-Con panel this Friday, we’ll likely find out pretty soon.

Woman Sues A$AP Rocky For $75K, After Rapper Slapped Her At Concert

A$AP Rocky allegedly slapped a female fan during a Philadelphia music festival…and now she’s dragging him into court with a lawsuit. Lisamarie Wade claims the rapper hauled off and smacked her — for no apparent reason — as he made his way through the crowd last year — knocking her to the ground and disorienting her. In her docs, Wade claims the rapper has a long history of bad behavior…including a similar incident two months before the Philly show…in which he allegedly smacked a female fan in Australia.

TMZ broke the story…Wade filed a private criminal complaint…but eventually withdrew it when she couldn’t locate him to serve him with the complaint. Wade’s already making a play for the heartstrings of a potential jury…claiming Rocky’s slap caused a string of ailments which interfere with her ability to “enjoy society with her minor child as a young, single mother.” Well played, ma’am.

Note: This is not the same woman, he has slapped a few...smfh.

Meet the girl who reverse photobombed Karlie Kloss

She found fame when she wrongly assumed paparazzi were taking photos of her - without realising supermodel Karlie Kloss was right behind her.

And now 22-year-old Kara Dudley has spoken out about the photos which have made her a viral sensation.

The brunette beauty was snapped striking her best poses as she left a store in Soho, completely unaware that Karlie was stepping out directly behind her.

Embarrassing? Actually, no, she finds it all hilarious. AS. DO. WE.

"I didn't know what they were doing but I decided to strike a pose anyways because how cool is that!" She tells us.

Kara, who has recently moved to New York to pursue a modelling and acting career (this will surely get her noticed!) said she had followed none other than singer Taylor Swift into the store, hoping to meet her. Read more...Collapse )

Hollywood Facing Worst Summer in Eight Years, While 'Lucy' To Out Muscle 'Hercules' This Weekend

Less than six weeks before Labor Day, hopes for recovery at the North American summer box office have evaporated. The season is expected to finish down 15 to 20 percent compared with 2013, the worst year-over-year decline in three decades, and revenue will struggle to crack $4 billion, which hasn't happened in eight years. As a result, analysts predict that the full year is facing a deficit of 4 to 5 percent.

Comparisons in North America are tough, considering revenue hit a record $4.75 billion in summer 2013. It didn't help that Fast & Furious 7 was pushed from July to April 2015 following the death of Paul Walker or that Captain America: The Winter Soldier opened in early April. But even bullish observers are grim. "Moviegoing begets moviegoing, and we have lost our momentum," says Rentrak's Paul Dergarabedian. "People aren't seeing trailers and marketing materials. They still want to go to the movies -- they just want to go to really good movies."

Although there have been no Lone Ranger-size debacles, for the first time since 2001 no summer pic will cross $300 million domestically (X-Men: Days of Future Past, Maleficent and Transformers: Age of Extinction hover near $230 million). May kicked off with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 earning $200 million less domestically than 2013's Iron Man 3; by July 20, the divide had swelled to nearly $690 million as revenue topped out at $2.71 billion, down 20 percent compared with the same period last year.

International returns remain strong, making up for some of the damage, but in certain cases they aren't enough. Spider-Man 2 topped out at $706.2 million globally, notably behind the $757.9 million earned by The Amazing Spider-Man in 2012. "I would have liked Amazing Spider-Man 2 to make a lot more money for us than it did, but it made a lot of money for us anyway," Sony co-chairman Amy Pascal said in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

George R.R. Martin Writes Back to Young Fan's Heartfelt Letter

Who knew so many people want to be killed off by George R. R. Martin?

Martin's wolf sanctuary crowdfunding campaign with Prizeo, through which fans could purchase an in-book death at the hands of the Game of Thrones author for $20,000, has raised more $450,000 — more than double its initial goal. While the two "martyr" slots available were both purchased (one by a Facebook employee), one young fan's touching letter was enough to draw a personal response from the author.

Surprise bitch: Marvel announces THIRD secret movie for 2018

Marvel has announced it will release another untitled movie on May 4, 2018.

The identity of the superhero film remains a mystery as the studio continues to grow its cinematic universe.

The only other movie dated for May 2018 is the animated comedy “Madagascar 4.”

It recently announced release dates for five more untitled films that Disney will on July 28, 2017 and Nov. 3, 2017; July 6, 2018 and Nov. 2, 2018 and May 3, 2019.

It remains unclear which Marvel titles these release dates pertain to, but in addition to some Marvel Phase Three sequels, possibilities include a “Black Widow” spinoff with Scarlett Johansson and “Black Panther.”

Scott Derrickson‘s “Doctor Strange” remains without a release date, though it is expected to be ready in time for one of Marvel's 2016 slots.

Disney will release Marvel's “Guardians of the Galaxy” on Aug. 1, and the film is on tracking to gross at least $60 million at the domestic box office during its opening weekend.

Stealth Meets Wealth: Miranda Kerr Is Seeing Billionaire James Packer On The Sly ...

… she’s said they’re not dating, but the supermodel has
been visiting the Australian mogul in New York City,
taking pains to keep her visits secret

Is Miranda Kerr telling a “Packer” lies? [journo should hang head in shame]

The supermodel recently dismissed reports that she’s dating Australian billionaire James Packer following her split last October from Orlando Bloom.

But Confidenti@l has learned that Kerr has been stealthily visiting Packer at his New York City hotel, even going to the trouble of changing cars en route to throw paparazzi off her trail.

“She’s being very discreet,” says our source, “What she’ll do is go to (Upper West Side hotel) the Mandarin Oriental in an Uber (car service), hang out for like 15 minutes and then take a different Uber out so that she can sneak by the paps. Then she’ll stop along the way to make sure she wasn’t being followed.”

While the Victoria’s Secret stunner has been pictured all over town in the past week, she has also kept her visits to the Greenwich Hotel under wraps. Confidenti@l is told that the model was spotted leaving the swanky downtown hotel — where Packer has been seen several times in the past week — on Friday morning and returning that evening.

Chadwick Boseman: Playing Black Panther is "Not Out of the Question"

It’s no secret that Marvel’s movie universe is expanding and the more films the comic book giant pumps, the more actors they’ll need to play them. Who knows, maybe actor Chadwick Boseman will get a shot… not that he’d tell us anyway.

chad

MTV News caught up with the rising actor on Saturday when he was at New York’s famed Apollo theater to promote his upcoming film “Get On Up,” the powerful James Brown biopic which will open on August 1. Boseman nailed his starring role as the iconic soul singer, but when we asked him to confirm rumors that he will be playing Black Panther in an upcoming Marvel film, he just laughed it off.

I know nothing of it, I have no knowledge of this,” Boseman said after a hearty (and curious) laugh. “It’s not out of the question, but I have no direct knowledge of this.”

Black Panther made his first appearance in 1966 and has had ties to the Avengers, so maybe an “Age of Ultron” cameo is on the horizon or a film or television show of his own. We’re not sure what Marvel has planned, but hopefully we will all have direct knowledge after the smoke clears at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend.

Get excited by the video at the source:

John Travolta’s Alleged Ex-Lover Sues For Right To Out Him As Gay!

The man who claims he had an intimate “love affair” with A-list actor John Travolta back in the ’80s has been granted the opportunity to challenge the validity of his 20-year-old confidentiality agreement in order to write a tell-all memoir.

Douglas Gotterba, 64-year-old pilot told the National Enquirer sex with John Travolta “was gentle but very passionate,” was granted motion by a California court Tuesday.

He previously claimed during his tenure at Travolta’s aircraft company Alto, the two were essentially dating. He filed a complaint recently after receiving several cease-and-desist letters from Travolta’s attorney, who claimed that sharing any information regarding his employment would be violation of termination agreement he signed upon leaving the company in 1987.

It’s understood that the real points of contention here are the supposed “intimate details” Gotterba wants to share about his relationship with Travolta in his new memoir. Though the actor’s camp has previously refuted the allegations as “ridiculous,” Gotterba has remained a noted character in the seemingly never-ending speculation about John Travolta’s sexuality.

Attorneys for Travolta and Gotterba have taken to arguing about termination agreement Gotterba signed, which included confidentiality agreement that’s believed to be indefinite.

Tia Mowry Tells In Touch — “Charlize Theron Is Mean!”

Charlize Theron is Hollywood’s mean girl, according to Tia Mowry. In Touch recently spoke to Tia, who told the mag all about a rude encounter she experienced with the Oscar-winning actress at a SoulCycle spin class.

“She wasn’t very nice to me,” Tia, who has long admired Charlize’s work, dished to In Touch. “I said ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God.’”

While Tia tells the mag that she understands that anyone can be caught on a bad day, the exchange was still a disappointment. “I wasn’t over-the-top. I know how to approach another celebrity,” she adds. “Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

I wish I could start this off with Tyra Banks’ “WE WERE ROOTING FOR YOU! For a millisecond, you were the wet dream for those of us longing to see you capitalize on Nicki Minaj kicking the door back open for female rappers. Unfortunately, it didn’t take you long to basically become the Crypt Keeper of said dreams.
Oh, sis. Didn’t we almost have it all?
