it has been a long time since i updated... hehehe
wala naman kasi masyadong nangyayari..
right now, i'm kinda more fired up for work.. its the whole planning thing i think.. kasi before, parang trabahador lang ako... pero ngayon, i feel like i'm really a stakeholder in the company.. tingin ko naman dahil nung pmasok ako, in the middle of things.. at least now, i'm able to start a year with the company.. therefore, giving me a glimpse of what to expect.. what to work for.. and what's ahead of me..
so now, i'm hopeful about things and more challenged to do better. :)

had 3 family gatherings this Feb.. 2 for the chinese new year and 1 for a pamangkin's birthday.. masaya lang makita ung mga cousins uli from both side of the family.. i hope we do this more often! hehehehe

ok naman ung mga vball games ko with hope and st stephens.. masaya.. tska feeling ko nagiimprove naman ako.. although parang nde na nawala ung shoulder injury ko.. damn it. sana mawala na to.. tsk
pero amidst all the vball, SHET! tumataba na tlga ako.. i really need to find more ways of working out.. on a more frequent and routinary form.. kasi kung nde, nakikita ko na kung san papnta to! hahahahha.. shet.

| My First Vacation Leave |

I'm half way through my first vacation leave. haha
parang nde vacation leave kasi i had to go to Manila City Hall to get my license. sympre nahuli ako..
swerving dapat. pero it was recorded as reckless driving. pota. 2000 ang fine.
kelangan pako mag acting na wla akong pera and stuff. nakipagusap pako sa head nung office..
then i was granted "guilty of a lower violation" so 1000 nlng. nakiusap pako na gawing 500 pero d na daw kaya..
para akong nahold-up ng gobyerno. haha
o well..
time to relax..

| MB Day Away at Plantation Bay |

I really had a great time in our day away. We went to Plantation Bay in Cebu. Grabe ang ganda don! hahhaa i really recommend it. Bilib ako dahil ang polite ng mga tao. ang ganda ng service at ang ganda din ng mga facilities.
i really dont want to get into the details. hehe.. all in all, it was really a great trip. i think that we had the rest and relaxation that we were looking for. I really felt that i can work better after this trip. dont know though if the trip really had a better effect on team-building kasi parang nag bakasyon lang kami. Nonetheless, sobrang saya parin ng day away.

i'll keep this short. hehe
basically, did OT the whole week for XMEN. :( grabe. pati sat pmasok ako. pero ok lang. i realized that it's much better to work on saturdays (kung may aircon -thanks to Des's FGDs) kasi you can focus on what you're doing without the constant extra requests of other people.
un. un lang ang highlight ng linggo. haha..
first weekend nga pala of resting my shoulder.. didn't have the urge namn go and play vball kaya ok lang. feeling ko kasi nasubsob ako sa trabaho nung week kaya pahinga muna sa bhay this weekend. haha..
more work next weekend. boooooo.. cant wait for plantation bay. haha

highlights of what happened this week:
- had a great dose of good episodes with the series i'm following.. ASTIG heroes, prisonbreak, house, grey's at private practice(so far)..
-did a lot of OT for the presentation. haha.. napagod ako ng todo.. pero ok lang naman.. parang marketing and LS classes all over again... hehe.. pano kaya kung biglang ang daming projects ang nagsabay sabay nh??? hahaha x_x nako. haha
- had my first presentation with client. haha.. astig. ang daming taong pmnta. from different depts of the client. well what i just did was to take down notes and queries from the clients tapos nakasagot naman ako sa isang clarification nila. wooottt! hehehe.. tapos sabi pa ni ms nena: "o jeff, ikaw ba ang nagchart? it's very clean, walang typo.." hehehhee
- had lunch with my "stupid friends" (MIS barkada) in pancake house and i gave in to peer pressure. haha.. pulubi tuloy ako paglabas ng resto. hahaha.. well ok lang kasi we all had fun naman. so i hope somebody will take the turn next time. -ahemLESTERahem-
- the usual volleyball with hope people yesterday.. wai ying and tambay..
- went to the cemetery for the 2nd death anniversary of our beloved yaya.. for those of you who don't know, she was with us for 25 years, since the birth of my eldest sister. kaya talagang naging second mom na namin sya.. we love you ya! :)
- congrats to manny for winning over barrera! haha.. go philippines! :)
- watched dlsu win over UE.. well, i really think that UE deserved to be the champs this season. but, dlsu proved to be really hungrier for the win. they were really determined and cool the whole game. at nagchoke nanaman ang UE.. so sayang.. Well, congrats narin.. magaling din namang dlsu..
- had dinner with my family in promenade.. hehe.. kakauwi lang namin.. todo busog! at todo pulubi din! kasi ngayon lang ako nanlibre since i had my job. at talagang sinakto nila na sa italianni's pa.. wah. hehehe.. ok lang.. lagi naman nila akong nililibre kasi.. hahahha
well, that's it. again, hoping for a great week ahead! :)

i really had a great weekend.
started out saturday when i met jb, betsy, jem and jehl to fetch pinky from the airport. tagal na naming d nagkikita kasi nasa iloilo na sya nagmemed. hometown nya kasi. we met at around 7am in xanland and went straight to the airport. haha.. SOBRANG nakakamiss ung S5 kasi ang saya tlga nilang kasama. we had breakfast at krispy kreme in serendra then went to the Strains AP training in Ateneo. grabe. wala na akong kilalang mga newbies. nagsink in na talagang ang tanda ko na. haha.. o well.. the visit also made me feel how much i missed school. and especially strains. sana makabisita ako uli.. hehe
after, we went to Secret Recipe for lunch. ang sarap ng food at lalo na ang cakes. hehehehe.. tapos we went straight back to katipunan. magpapagupit sna kami ni jb tapos magpaparelax si jem but nagbrown out sa bench fix. hahaha.. o well. so i went home nalang..
I went to play badminton with the Hope ppl. ang mura. 100bux play all you can na. so we played from 530pm to 1030! hahaha. grabe pagod. pero it was really worth it. tagal ko nang d nagbabadminton eh.. tapos the usual dinner with them and tamba..

Last Sunday was my mom's birthday. sa sobrang pagod ko, d ako nagising to help out sa preparations. pero buti naayos na ng mga sis ko. we went to Luk Foo for lunch with the motherside aunts and cousins. Grabe. sobrang daming pagkain. haha..
after, we went to Aunt Aurora's house to play dice (advance mooncake festival celebration) AT nagulat ako sa swerte. grabe.
When it rains, it pours. I won the first prize, the two 2nd prizes and some other minor prizes in round 1 (money round). AT, d pa nagtatapos don un. i won one of the 2 second prizes dun sa second round! (money and chocolates round) haha.. umuulan ng grasya. haha
What made the game more fun was the additional rule of my aunt: pag walang 4 na lumabas sa dice, fine na 20bux. so aside from the 1st prize, nagkaroon pa ng roughly 3k na pot of money for each round. hahaha.. panalo.
after the dice game, we went to rockwell. Gusto magshopping ng mga girls eh. hehee.. ate dinner at Via Mare and did some grocery. hehe
all in all, it was really a great weekend. hahhaa

my week ended with our MB duty free day away kuno. hahaha.. went to duty free with pamy, des, ina, mai, francis and jody. haha.. tnx to ina for letting us "tag along"! (kasi kami naman ang nagyaya!) haha..
bought 2 pairs of slippers. haha..
Saturday was my usual volleyball day. went to hope late afternoon. played with the guys then ate dinner at wai ying. After we went to ralph's to greet him a happy birthday. (at makikain ng cake!) haha..
Sunday, i met up with my highschool buddies to watch the uaap cheerdance comp. grabe. 9am palang, puno na ang labas ng araneta. haha.. 1pm magbubukas ung gates pero nakapila na ung mga tao just to get in first. grabe. haha.. buti we didnt have to line up for tickets na (thanks to chard!)
we kinda got ok seats naman. harap pero medyo gilid. tska malayo. so i think i wasnt able to see everything in detail. haha..
some highlights:
- grabe ang aksidente nung isang dlsu guy. grabe talaga. shet. he hit his head thrice while attempting 3 separate back tucks! shet. as in he hit the back of his head sa sahig. shet. pero, astig naman sila kahit papano kasi may isang nakaka full twist na sa kanila at astig naman ung final pyramid nila
- mutant ng UP! kaya they deserved first. malinis. tapos astig ung difficulty. they had 3 full twists. tapos ang ganda ng pacing ng routine kasi walang dull moment. mutant. haha. tapos astig ng mga toss nila. haha. and as much as they could, parang full twist most ng dismounts nila. haha
- UST was just like last year. astig ung nagtumbling tapos sinalo at nagtumbling pabalik. (haha.. baka d nyo naintindihan to! haha) tapos astig din ung 3 extenstion tapos tinupi pa nila. haha! (eto din!).. sayang lang kasi nung nahulog ung buhat nila nung first part, parang na-down ung crowd tapos d na napansin ung ibang ginawa nila..
- i really thought that ADMU will get the third spot. astig ung routine. walang dull moment. AT, ang linis. difficulty was ok though, at least nagrisk sila sa mga buhat ngayon, pati sa toss. AT, walang pagod sa tumbling ung isa (paulina ata..) haha.. tska nga pla, astig ung ending.
overall, i think it was an ok show. i think most schools stepped up this year. haha..
Office today was kinda slow.. wala pa kasi akong masyadong ginagawa uli.. just assisting on stuff..

Last week was kinda heavy with work since i helped out in a heavy project. Had to OT until the morning. Although i had 2 mornings off to compensate for the long OT.
The week ended with our Day Away in the office. Friday afternoon we all went to SM Megamall (since Rockwell is not available daw) for bowling, a movie (the invasion) and some food (komoro soba). Sobrang sayang kasi walang nakadala ng cam nun. Sayang first event ko pa naman sa office.. i will just have to rely on Des' pictures from her fone. haha.. I went straight home and slept na kagad. Yun pala hinahanap nila ako and everyone realized that they dont have my number. Sayang i missed the podium after the Day Away. haha..
Saturday was kinda slow until my usual volleyball games with the hope alumni. As usual, masaya tapos normal lang yung laro ko. after the games, we went to yellow cab for dinner. Sarap! we had an 18-inch corona chicken salsa and 2 charlie chan pasta. Tapos, lipat lang to starbucks where i yielded to peer pressure. haha.. dahil daw kumikita nako, ilibre ko daw sila.. hahaha..
pero eto ang patalo. pag -uwi ko, BROWNOUT. SHET. at nde ako nakatulog. literal! i started sleeping, 7am na. sobrang init kasi. konting galaw lang, pawis na. shet. Which lead me to not go to the ADMU-DLSU game. plano ko kasi, i'll go there at 9am to buy a ticket but no. wala akong tulog. shet.
So un. Instead of going to the game in araneta, i just went to PIQC for more volleyball. this time with the SSHS guys. haha.. saya din silang kasama.. after the games, nagkayayaan magdota. haha.. tagal ko nang nde nagdodota eh.. parang v43 ung last map na nagamit ko tapos ngayon ata parang v49 na. haha.. ok naman ung laro namin.. ang gagaling din kasi nila. then we went to wai ying for some dinner.
Monday was really slow too.. la masyadong tao sa office since naka leave ung most ppl. Today naman was different kasi i went on fieldwork this pm. Afterwards, nakahabol ako sa vball sa hope at eto. kakauwi ko lng. haha..

Saturday:
went to DDI after lunch to get my check and went straight to saint jude to play vball with the highschool team. grabe.. sayang tlga sila.. kung mas ok sana ung training, skeds and support ng school sa kanila, bka mas magaling pa sila nw. All i see is raw talent. na dapat, ripe na now kasi liga na.. tsk tsk tsk.. then we went straight to hope for more vball, ate at wai ying and went to starbux binondo. haha.. saya..
Sunday:
went to colegio de san lorenzo in the far place of congressional to watch vball games. after, Coach Richard treated us for some snacks in jollibee. then i was suppose to meet my family for the usual weekend day out but instead, i rested for a couple of hours and went out with erin, justin and jasper. isa nanaman to sa last gimmick namin dahil china-boy na sila jus and jasper.
we went to mom and tina's for dinner. sarap. haha.. babalik ako dun. then to pier1 for some drinks (for jasper and erin) haha..
Today:
had my day out with Chef Jef. haha.. i overslept and made ericka and ren wait for 2 hours! shet. soriiiii... hahhaa.. tapos we went to ROME to buy some food.. (we were suppose to have a cook out but since i was late we had to buy cooked food instead). :(
then we went straight to "the province" (JT's house) tapos un.. food and dvds lng. grabe. hahaha.. its really fun to be with those guys again. tgal na kasi kaming d nagkikita.. i wasnt able to meet them last time for dinner eh..
All in all, i kinda (understatement) had a great weekend. so i really hope the this keeps up.. na ok din ung week ahead. haha..

After reading the comments of ruel and bianx, d ko pala nasabi san ako nagwowork. haha..
I'm now a research associate for Millward Brown Philippines (see www.millwardbrown.com) :) Its a market research and brand consulting firm.
So far, i'm really happy that i took this job. Aside from the very comfy and conducive workplace, great officemates and a really good boss, I think i've found a great start for a hopefully great career ahead.

it has be a while.. but finally i'm employed!!! haha :D
the first three days were ok... its just me meeting my team, getting my desk, my pc, preparing recruitment stuff and helping out with a project.. hopefully by next week, i'll get my fone, ID and email add fixed na.. haha..
i'm really hopefull and optimistic with this.. kasi i really like what the company does. and it's growing really fast.. so, God bless me! hahaa :)

Congrats to ADMU for a great game! haha
Went to Araneta at about 11am to get a ticket. Luckily, (with some help from justin and jasper's driver) i was a able to get upper A tickets.. haha
It was a great game. props to chris and jai. galing. si arao and kurt long din.. dependable.. haha
Makes me remember college days.. haha.. ang saya.. punong puno ung araneta. haha :D

On other things, i hate disappointments. specially those that i dont have any control over.

reread hp5 and hp6 recently.. haha.. astig ng harry potter.. cant wait for the next book to come..
tapos, i watched hp5 a while ago... it was ok... it skipped a lot of details from the book and altered some parts.. but all in all, ok naman.. binawi ng fight scene ni voldemort at dumbledore lahat.. astig ung mga laban ng OTP and death eaters.. :D
