why is colleege so expensive?
i amthinign about this
let's just say...books
i got paid 7.75 an hour this summer
but after taxes it was more like 6.50
(but yet the govenermnt cant give me any fucking financial aid, thanks buddy)
so i spent like 400 so far for books + art supplies for classes
and im pretty sure i need to buy more shit that will be about 100
so 500 on "accessoires"
divide by 6.5
that means i worked 77 hours for JUST the books
i ususally worked 6 hour shifts
so that's roughly 2 weeks of work
for BOOKS
dont even get me started on tuition
and really a college degree doesnt get you too far anymore
now you need fucking graduate and more
then you go into a job youll probably hate
and stress over that constantly
and work thousands of hours to pay off your college tuition and rent and phone bill and car/transpass
wishing you had more money to spend on vacations and familes and yourself
and wish you had more time to spend with your wife or hsuband or girlfirned or son or momand dad or brother
and everyone wishes the same thing but no one cuts anyone any slack
