What's up everyone? I've been busy with promoting my album, and doing all sorts of things. On the 8th I was on the Jay Leno Show. It felt weird having an interview for the first time in a few years, since 98 degree's last CD whcih was a really long time ago. A few nights after Jessica had come back from her stay in New York, I had to travel there myself. I'm still in New York, actually. I stayed here for a September 11th memorial that took place. So many lives were changed after that event. It tore apart families, and made people bond more. Jessica and I realized that we wouldn't want to lose each other in that sort of way, so that's when we started seeing each other again. Thats one good thing that came out of it. I enjoyed paying my tribute to the firefighters, and everyone who lost their lives for our country that day. Jessica probably would have complained during the whole thing, that's probably why she didn't go. ;*

I'm sure many people watched the newest episode of Newly Weds that aired this week. It isn't everyday that you get to go to the Playboy Mansion. I tried to pull myself out of going, for Jessica's sake. I didn't want her to be mad with me, but I ended up being forced to go by my agent. I had already been scheduled, so it would look back if I went M.I.A. Everything turned out fine. Drew, his wife, Jess, and I all went golfing together...which was an adventure all of its own. Jess got to be the crazy cart driver, and she actually hit the ball a couple of times. It took her a while, though. Later that night, I went to put my golf clubs in the garage. When I tried to re-enter the house, I was locked out. It was just under five minutes that Jess came and finally let me back in. Looks like Mr.Handy Dandy needs to fix the lock on some of the doors. <s>The Bathroom.</s>

Tonight I'll fly back home and hopefully get greeted by my lovely wife.
Taker care... Nick Lachey

This has been one long, long week. One reason it seems as though it were really long is because Jessica was up in New York. I decided not to go with her, and that was one huge mistake. I found myself bored around the house, and using the workout room for the first time since we bought the house. When she arrived back home last night, I was really happy to see her. I had really missed her while she was gone to New York. Then we got in a little argument over something really stupid. It lasted for a minute, before she gave me her little pouty face that I love, and then I forgave her.

I've only spoken to Justin, Trishelle, Janie, and Jessica [ Alba ] while here. Jessica and I had a really nice conversation one night. She's really intelligent, and she deserves the best guy out there. Trishelle and I talked only briefly, but she's really amazing. Her and Steven are sort of like Jess and I. Newly Weds, heh.

Did anybody watch the episode of Newlyweds on Monday? Ya know, the camping trip?
I gotta go. Take care y'all.
-- Nick --

Introductions

- Standing within his large home, his structured body was bent over in mid-step. Large, masculine hands gripped the laces of his Nike tennis shoes, and hastily pulled them out from their formed bows. Slipping his fingers to rest at the back of the interior of the shoes, he quietly dropped the shoes to rest by the door. Taking one, two, three steps off towards the spiral staircase, he looked upwards before proceeding. Muscular legs made a proportional arch of the knee as he had mounted each step that led upstairs. Emerald oculars glanced into their bedroom, before he made his entrance. Cocking a furrowed brow, he surveyed the mess of his wife's clothing that lay on the floor and the bed. Gathering the clothes together, he deposited them into the laundry hamper that sat lone in the corner of the room. A hand rubbed at the back of his neck, before he made his way towards the computer. Sitting in the revolving chair, he pulled off the wife-beater that clung to his sweaty body. Bundling the shirt together within a hand, he tossed it onto the breach of the laundry hamper. Ruffling his fingers through his slightly dampened hair from sweat, he looked down to the keys as he typed in his journal password. Clicking "Update Journal," he began to type his introduction. -

Hey Everyone, this is Nick Lachey. You've probably heard of me from the group 98 degrees, but most recently I've gone solo. Look out for my CD coming out soon, entitled SoulO. The first single is called "Shut Up." Keep voting for it on TRL!
1. Shut Up
2. Let Go
3. This I Swear
4. Could You Love
5. Carry On
6. You're The Only Place
7. Can't Stop Loving you
8. Edge of Eternity
9. It's Alright
10. Fall In Love
11. Open Your Eyes
12. On and On

This year a lot has happened to me in a short amount of time. To begin with, I got married to Jessica. Our lives have bonded to create one, and we had to learn how to cope with our differences every now and then. MTV came to us, asking us if they could create a show called Newlyweds and we said "Why not?" One reason that we said yes to the show, was to show others that marriage isn't as wonderful as it's cracked up to be. We have our ups and downs. . .but that's what makes a marriage real, right? Jess and I had dated for about three years, at which one time we broke up for five months. I tried to move on, but I kept thinking "She's really the one." We worked things out, and got engaged. How's that for making up? I couldn't picture life without her. She's just one reason that makes me wake up everyday, to see her beautiful face.

I'm going to be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Monday, September 8th. You all should check it out, along with the next episode of Newlyweds. Take care everyone!

AIM : Shut Up Lachey
