A course of comparative religions by the Teaching company. I have mixed feelings about it: on one side it was too dry, in spite of many good jokes and other tricks to enliven the course, on the other side it was too short. On one side, it was too concentrated on Christianity and only lightly brushed Judaism and oriental religions while never mentioning Islam outside of the introduction (the course was recorded in the early 90-s), on the other side many of the Christian denominations and sects are not explained.
Trivia: Boston's nickname "the Hub" originates not in it's cultural or educational significance, but in the Puritan's intention to make it the religious hub of the Universe.

Re: Не получилось?
Are we talking religion or spirituality, though?I can see the latter as a prominent presence, but surely, most of what we think of as "religious life" would hardly meet the standards of the Pilgrims and the similarly driven followers of other religions, don't you think?

Re: Не получилось?
We are talking spiritiality, of course, and, granted, it is not a synonym of religion. Though, our today standards, however different they are from the Salem witch trials, take their source from the pioneer tradition.
