My next project in Digital Page Layout is a Book design. We have to have original copy. So yeah, I have to write some sort of story that's at least 4 pages long. And since I have nothing original already lying around I have to write something from scratch. Problem is i'm completely drawing a blank on what to write! So...this is a promp post! Please leave me any ORIGINAL prompt ideas for an original fiction piece. Any storylines, themes, names, etc...

I'll post it on here when i'm done if anyone's interested. ;)

 It's exactly one year today since my dad died.

How does time pass this quickly? It feels like it happened yesterday...

OKAY, wow. Yeah.
I haven't really updated this thing in a while. Lots to catch up on.

-I really really really like Selena Gomez's new album. It's fun and a total guilty pleasure and I actually like pretty much every song on the record (which is rare for me). "I Got U" is probably my favorite. I'm so happy for her. You can tell she's nervous and she wants to do a good job for her fans. I watched her "Under Pressure" series where she said she worked on the album for a year and half because she wanted it to be good. She's just so cute and I ♥ her.

-I like this semester of school a lot better than last. I'm actually taking classes that I enjoy and WANT to do my homework in (well, for the most part). I have the same teacher for my Digital Layout class that I had for Design I and I LOVE HER. She always lets us do fun stuff. Right now we're doing a brochure assignment but it can really be anything (newsletter, booklet, etc). So I decided to do an album booklet. And since I have to have my own images, i'm getting my friends together and we're doing a photoshoot! Crazy hair, makeup, wardrobe. The works. I have my brothers guitar and amp for a prop and I made a mic stand out of a lamp, lmao. I swear, I can get pretty resourceful when I need to. I can make you pretty much anything with some random household items. I'm using the backside of a box-spring for the backdrop (the side with the tattered black fabric) and I have this big ass mirror and sheets and a fan and IT'S GOING TO BE EPIC I TELL YOU. I think i'm more looking forward to the photoshoot than I am making the CD booklet lol. But i'm picking like 10 girly/rock/pop songs and i'm going to compile the lyrics and make up some some other liner notes. Idk yet.

Oh Oh! If ANYONE has any CD booklets for artists like Kelly Clarkson, Ashlee Simpson, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears, Katy Perry ETC...would you mind taking some pictures of them? I really need some inspiration and since the only girly album I have a booklet for it Aly & AJ's "Into The Rush", i'm kinda limited. =/  

And I've checked around on the internet, but none of these sites seem to have the scanned pages from the booklets. =(

Just did a friends cut...i hate these things but it had to be done!

I was severely sleep deprived when I did this so if I cut you and you don't think I should have just comment me. I'm trying to keep my flist pretty small and contained. So if we haven't commented each other in forever, haven't ever commented each other period, or if I feel like we've lost touch/are no longer interested in the same things I most likely cut you. Also if I was scrolling through my flist and couldn't recognize off the top of my head who you were/why I added you...yeah.

Also, if you are just interested in my graphics and not my personal life that's what my community is for =) staylost 
I'm going to start posting my fanmixes there too...so nothing art related will be in my personal journal anymore!
