a lot of expression required and status updates just don't do it.

And I haven't stayed up this late
Since the last time I wasn't with you.

And the last time I felt this way
This strange way, somewhere between twitterpated
and anxious, you flashed your eyes
on the arms of a woman I loved
And it told me you thought of me too.

And the last time I wrote this much poetry
within a few hours
was at a crux of my lifetime,
stretched between myself
and love, and God,
a god I no longer call out to,
years of academics missing.
My heart is thrumming,
and I want to know everything,
because I can't make it up for myself.
