Good things
Well the band is really taking off now. We just procured a drummer today, Leah, and I am really siked up about it. So now we have a bassist and a drummer, two guitar players and Lead Vocals.....not just to finish adding the bass line and a drum line to our songs and we should be ready to play out. I just started singing with a PA and its hard to get used to...Its alot different when everyone can here you, including yourself....After I started warming up I got alot better but I was really flat the first couple of days with it...and nerves, sheesh, my nerves are the worst when I am using that thing, it just amplifies any mistakes that you make and during a couple of songs I messed up once and barely was able to recover the rest of the entire song, just out of stage fright, but its getting better. At first I was reluctant to hum in front of strangers so I am confident that this too will pass....We have a song called one day at a time and when I was done Leah just looked at me and told me that I have a killer voice, that helps my confidence a bunch. I am hoping that after a couple of weeks, now that we have a complete band, that we will be ready to play out, I want to first get a group of friends together over at Josh's house (a big group of friends so if you are reading this you are probably invited) to hear us and kinda act as somthing to trigger my stage fright, force me to get over it before I am on stage.
