That's when I'll be starting at Yikes full time. I graduate the 12th. It's going to be weird not having school, after having it for the last 15 or so years of my life. I'm in work at the workshop at school right now, the last time I'll probably work here. And tonight will be the last time I work at the library, which I've been doing since the fall of 2002. I'm glad to be graduating, I've been doing school long enough. Still, it's a pretty weird feeling.. |

brooklyn was awesome, again.
me and eryn went up to new york again, and even though we spent basically an hour between the turnpike exit and the holland tunnel, it was a really cool night. we found free street parking in soho, which was pretty amazing. went to kid robot, i got a medium sized plush gloomy bear, a smorkin labbit, and an awesome 'from outer space' dude. and erin got a rockin dino watch from swatch! oh yeah. thennn we looked in yellow rat bastard for these license plate cd wallets i wanna get, but they had like, 2, in crappy condition, with no sleeves in them. so we just got on the subway and went to brooklyn to meet up with mark and mike. we went to this pretty cool italian/cajan place, even though it kinda seemed like it was italian *or* cajan, and not so much a fusion of the two. it was good though. after that we went to the cocoa bar again. brooklyn rocks, it'd be cool to live up there. |

Hark! Christmas.
Just came back from my cousins house in rainy philly. we had so much food, wow. but it was all really good. last night i went over erin's and gave her her gifts (shadow of the collosus, stencil graffiti book, a cute 'cinko' uglydoll keychain, and a cool knit wristband thing i found at the flea market in philly) and she gave me mine (2 boxes of coffee nips candies :P~, this AWESOME sushi keychain thing she made out of clay omg, the 'weird pennsylvania' book, the shins 'oh, inverted world' and frou frou 'details' cds, an invader zim pen, and this cool like year plannerish book with 365 bizarre things to do in it). i got a bunch of dvds from my parents, like intermission, layer cake, code 46, and minority report. i got a deathcab cd too, and my brother got me an italian phrase-a-day thingie and a book to make you read italian better. also it rained all day. if only it were 20 degrees colder x.x |

we got a christmas tree today. i love christmas. (i just ignore the the crazy people shopping for shit, forgetting the meaning of everything part) uhh i like the shins and frou frou, both on the garden state soundtrack. and god how i love count chocula.
OMG i just realized they might have it at cereality (a philadelphia cereal bar far cooler than you)

i'm tired, i've been working on this software engineering project most of today.. it's due tuesday. i cant wait until it's just done. anywayyyy last night me and erin went to brooklyn to see my friend mark and his friend patrice. we got up there at like 8:00 and it took me half an hour to find parking. we met him at the barnes and noble in park slope and walked to this italian place, which was really packed and pretty cool. three of us got ravioli and mark got something else. it was good of course, and filling. afterwards we walked to the cocoa bar, this place where you can all kinds of chocolate things. mark's artwork was up there for sale, i'm glad we got to see it. we couldn't go the first night it was up because it was on a thursday night. it's really cool to have your stuff up in a place, and 2 of them are already sold. anyway we hung out there til they closed at 1 then we walkede back to the car and left. it was really cool and nice out. and the views going up the bqe through brooklyn are always amazing... |

music: paul van dyk: politics of dancing 2

paul van dyk's "politics of dancing 2" is a great 2-cd set.. playing it driving through and around new york = love. we drove out route 70 to monmouth county, and around the desolate shore downs of central new jersey. (not to mention a Super Foodtown. we see these everywhere up there.. and somehow, in northeastern pa too.) we went through point pleasant beach, brielle, manasquan, sea girt, belmar, avon-by-the-sea, neptune, asbury park, loch arbour, allenhurst, deal, long branch, then north, eventually to an ihop in hazlet, then up the parkway and into new york via staten island for the drive/view. drove around ny for about an hour or something, and came back. shore towns in the winter are cool.. desolate, cold places. we went on the beach in point pleasant and it was so quite and still.. a stark contrast to the huge summer crowds. i think we've been to every beach in nj, and have for a while. from cape may to sandy hook. these drives are so fun <3 |

this movie looks really, really cool: Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain
not to mention, for some reason, the philly skyline makes a cameo.. weird. but regardless, this movie looks pretty mind blowing. i bet it'll be cool though, it looks pretty epic. and darren aronofsky, of Pi and Reqiuem for a Dream fame, is really cool. |

me, eryn, our friend adam, his gf, some other girl went to dracula's ball on halloween, which was packed, eventually got sold out halfway through (a first?) and deffinitely cool. it was my 4th time and erin/adam's 3rd time seeing cruxshadows. it was our first time seeing voltaire, who was really good.

it's a windy, kinda cloudy (er, not anymore, boo) october day out and im listening to deathcab. its finally nice out. it finally stopped raining, but thats ok i guess, since most of north jersey seems to be swamp land or something. im on my new ibook. mmm. i've been wanting one for a while. they're pretty solid laptops. so things going on this month. next weekend is the Adult. show in Brooklyn then I think me and erin are checking out the PA ren fiare on halloween weekend. dave pointed out this show (Milemarker, Trouble Everyday, Fing Fang Foom, Wizzardz) at the Chuch in Philly that sounds pretty cool that we're all gonna go to (me, erin, and him). me+erin+adam are seeing the cruxshadows on halloween. this will be the second time we've seen them on halloween. it's always a great show. i think this'll be my 4th time seeing them. |

i found a (I Just) Died in your Arms Tonight 7" vinyl by Cutting Crew and a Adult Education by Hall and Oates (which has a b-side of my like 10 years ago or something favorite song 'maneater') 7" at tunes after me and eryn got coffee at coffeeworks. (also, i got deathcab for cutie's "you can play these songs with chords".) 80s music owns. |
