Joined the YorkU community.. I totally agree, why can't people make use of yorku.ca??? It's bizarre. It's not as if people don't know how to use the net because they *obviously* can use things like LJ just fine. In the summer, my favourite question was - "When does school start?" HONESTLY. WTFRIG.

New word invention - shopaholism: a disorder characterized by the excessive consumption of and dependence on retail therapy (commonly known as shopping), leading to extreme financial difficulties. Or should it be called "shopaholicism" instead? That word is for you, Charlene! =)

I should be starting my research for my paper due Friday, but I'm just not inspired to do so. Maybe around 2am I will be. The peak period to get work done now is between 11pm - 3am, mainly due to the guilt that I feel over my lack of productivity throughout the day. Come to think of it, I've never been so relaxed about school.. EVER. I probably had more anxiety attacks over math in grade 8 than I am now over a paper worth 20% of my mark, of which I have no possible thesis or arguments, and I'm just chillin out, watching Degrassi and Law & Order: SVU. Ah, the art of procrastination is being perfected, let's just see how the marks turn out (because I'm NOT one of those people who can just pull papers out of their butts the night before - essay-writing is a huge struggle for me and even after a lot of hard work, I don't get the grades I want.)

LJ isn't as fun as Xanga... only two friends! :( Sad.. Xanga-ers, join LJ!!

In a Christmas, classical and Ray Charles music mood. I love music. Can't do without it.. that should justify the impending mp3 player purchase. Creative MuVo, iRiver? iPod customer reviews aren't as good as the other ones. I think a lot of people might think I'm stupid for not getting the iPod, but honestly, I don't want to get it for the sake of getting a *pretty* or the *popular* player, I want the best one for its main function - to play music!!!!

I miss my friends, I miss summer.:( I miss the warm weather, the sunny days. But I love wearing hoodies and sweats, i.e. looking like a bum when I go to school. I'm the anti-female York student when it comes to my clothing (I don't give a crap about what I look like).
