I feel like this slippery muddy terrain I am venturing upon has foot prints engraved into its soil.
Unoriginality keeps seeping out of my thoughts.
Conformity is looking sweeter sweeter as the days press on.

So much is on my mind right now.
Why do I have such a small bladder? Why is it that beautiful events happen in the ugliest times? Why do I do the things that I do to myself? Apparently I like beating myself up. I'm not over it, no matter how much I tell myself and anyone that will listen. I love green tea. Red nail polish is delightful, so is the menorah in my dorm room.
I changed my major and I haven't felt this light in forever. I feel like I can go swimming in the sky.
Life really isn't that bad; I need to get over myself.

I wish Flagstaff was not a 2 hour drive from Phoenix.

Don't get me wrong, I am having the time of my life here, and I'm meeting amazing people, but something is missing....and I think it's pictured above.

My mother moved to some small remote island off the coast of Hawaii.
She called me for 6 minutes and the whole time she talked about her amazing view and the Coach bag she just purchased.
I am starting to lose faith in the human race.

Buttttt, I'm going camping this weekend and I could not be more excited.

Within the last month, I started to have warmth fill my body again.
I don't really know how to describe the feeling....but I felt so hollow and cold for the last year.
Maybe because I know my mother is gone and I can do nothing about it.
Maybe because I am having the time of my life here at college.
Maybe because I have finally found friends that love me as much as I love them.
Maybe it's because I realized life is not out to get me.

Life is getting better and better everyday.
I am getting over the fact that I don't have a mother anymore, and it is just going to take a while to get used to.
NAU is beautiful; I have been meeting a lot of people and my classes are just so interesting!
I was skeptical before about the career path I wanted to take, but I am becoming more and more confident.
There is a beautiful boy I see in the stir fry line all the time (that gets tofu :D) and I set myself a deadline; by Friday I will talk to him!
I got a job working downstairs at my residence hall, I have a work out class 2 nights a week, and I have an excessive amount of homework every night.
I just need to keep focusing on my goals.

I love and miss everyone, but I'm so glad I moved, I really am.

It's so refreshing to finally close that chapter of my life.
You have been my best friend for 6 years.
We have had our ups and MAJOR downs, but all in all, I would never for one minute change a thing.

College is the time to "discover" my talents and embark on the journey of life, but something is holding me back. But I honestly have no idea what it is. I have a foolproof plan on how my life should go, but I need to realize that whatever will happen will happen, and I should step back, breathe, and enjoy the ride I'm about to take.

An abundance of solitary confinement has produced an enrichment of self discovery.

It's so overwhelming to finally discover so much about yourself in such a short time span. I am most the selfish person you will ever meet. My mother has every reason to not talk to me. Other former friends of mine had good reason to not befriend me anymore. I need to work on myself SO much. I hate who I was, but I love who I am becoming out of this, I just know it.
