9:38 pm - Christmas Wishlist~

I have never done one of these before... and I'm not sure how many will read it, but oh well XD
STEP ONE
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. [Note: Your home address is not required!]
STEP TWO
- Surf around your friends list (or friends friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
Repost this in your journal so that others can see what you would like to have. Maybe someone will be able to make a holiday wish come true for you! :)

I don't know. Like said, I've never done one of these before. Now I am going to go to bed. I've had a long day of a coworker being angsty and a lot of dogs with kennel cough. *sigh* But tomorrow is thursday and that means that friday is nearly here!
And there is a semi-full moon out. And it's bitterly cold! Well, for Seattle at least. 38 degrees is cold XD With all of my coworkers (minus my manager) being from sunny california, everyone is rather chilled at work. We have central heating in the back, but the heat is all up by the ceiling and not down where we need it XD;; Which kind of sucks, really..

Welcome to December! (Where did Autumn go?)
As the days grow colder, I find myself just wanting to cuddle down in blankets and coats and heating pads that smell like lavender. Work is work. We are loosing one of my favorite coworkers, Amber, and so are in the business of interviewing people. Hmm hmm! And the other night crew girl is in a snarly mood still from having to close on Thanksgiving and Friday with Bossman. I'm expecting she will be that way for a few days/weeks to come 9_9 (She still has nothing on my manager, though, who had to open and close by himself for three days last Christmas because of the snow.)
Anyways~ Work work work. And writing. I finished my NaNo (well, I didn't finish it, but I beat NaNo again this year) and then suddenly got this huge urge to start writing Tadios' tale again. Remember that thing? Haha.
So here is another bit. Because I have nothin' else to offer you. Remember, it is unedited/un-beta'd and ... yeah. This part was written a while ago.
Last time: Iliad and Tadios managed to slip away from Iliad's master with a little trick Iliad knew. But now they have found themselves in a different kind of trouble indeed.

Hold on...
Augh, it's freaking cold o___o *plans on getting a heating pad* Those two- ah, well. New guy (who I'm sure you can guess the identity of) and Ili have been snuggling quite a bit, which is both cute and a bit troublesome *laughs* I still need to finish that faceup... TT;; I think I might have it down, but he looks kind of like a glam rocker, but not, and I don't know. *has troubles* We shall see~
Now, off to write. It's Jessen's day again, and last week I turned him into a dog. What will I do this week? XD

Goodness!
It is Jessen's fourth birthday/anniversary today! Can't believe he has been here for four years now. Goodness, how time flies~
Should have taken more photos but instead I've been writing all day, trying to get back to my goal. And cooking. Made a kind of runny chowder this night. Should have added more potatoes to it. Ah well, still tasted good.
So to celebrate Jessen's fourth, here is a bit more Jessen-story-babble. Remember, unedited, unbeta'd babbly babble is just that, kind of long in breath and yes.
But it does explain a little bit of why Jessen is afraid of rain, if you care to read.
The Previous Part (which is really how Jessen and Kai met) is Here (it was actually posted on Jessen's third birthday. Heh.) Both are part of last years NaNoWriMo.

First: Meme.

Ask me either a broad question (i.e 'who is your cruelest character?', 'what is your most optimistic story?') or a specific question/request ('what would does ___ come from?', 'tell me about ___') and I will answer you. Or you can ask meta- questions like 'what was the inspiration for creating ____?'
Any character/world is open (any story, too). If you know any of my non-doll characters, they're open too.
SECOND:
A lot of us are yaoi fans, but how much do our doll collections really reflect that? List your dolls in whatever order you like, and state their preference and current object of affection, if applicable.
[Disclaimer, while none of these characters are human and their societies don't follow the same straight/gay/bi thing, I'm using it for simplicity's sake] (Also, since a few of these are Dreamikin/Dreamikin crosses, I guess it should be said that Dreamikin mate for life. They are patient and will wait until they find that one person, their Someone, no matter how long it takes.)
Jessen (CP El) - Kai-sexual. He has no interest romantically or sexually with anyone other then Kai, in truth. If he were human and had never met Kai and was in highschool, say, he might have been bisexual. But he is not human nor has he ever been to high school, so~
Kai (SD13 Syo) - Was never interested in those around him when he first came to Earth and so folded himself away into himself. He only started opening up to others when he met Jessen. He would be quite gay, now, I believe, and is very in love with a certain Jessen.
Imikin (MSD Mika) - A bit young to be thinking about this (though it's mostly in looks only) but she is straight, quite. She's infatuated with a certain very tall, blonde guard and that causes trouble as many think her too young and him with a too troubled past and then there are ranks and all of that. She likes to ignore it.
Meikyou (Dollshe Hound) - Quite straight. Not interested in either sex at this time. It's more like he is waiting. Hmm~
Beizi (CP NaNuRi'06)- Extremely bi-sexual. He swings both ways depending on the life and will deny having any sort of sexual relationship with a certain Angel to his last breath. We know it's a lie, though.
Tashriel (CP Juri'06) - Bi-sexual though leaning more towards the male Beizi persuasion.
Ness (CP Juri'06) - Straight. He slept with a few of his virgin sacrifices before killing them but stopped that practice when he met Rem. He is now extremely devoted to her and really can't see anyone else romantically or sexually besides her.
Rem (SD13 SwD Syo girl) - Straight. A Dreamikin slave who found her Someone in her master (Ness) and is very much in love with him. Could not care two shakes for anyone else in a romantic way.
Meriarijim (CP NaNuRi'07)- :| He's gay. Never thought of a girl or woman in any sexual way before in his long life and has only ever thought of one man in a romantic way- though that is changing, slowly. Hoho.
Saawariya (CP Juri'B) - Completely infatuated with Meri to the extent that he does not see anyone else as a gender. Everyone else is Everyone Else and genderless while Meri is Meri.
Ladi (YoSD Syo) - Far too young to be worry about things like this. I'm sure that in elementary school he'd be chosen by little girls for valentines but I don't know how he would take to that. (Or how his father would take to anyone looking at his son that way, even if it was something as innocent as an elementary school crush *laughs*)
Iliad (FeePle NaNuRi'08) - Dreamikin who actually just found his Someone. He didn't know that he was gay when he was growing up but that's how the bird flies. He's just having trouble making his Someone realize what he's got going for him. Heh.
Tadios - A Dreamikin cross who does not really understand this whole romance thing. He has slept with both sexes a few times but it never really did anything for him. He is growing very fond of Iliad, though- and he hopes that Iliad can be patient with him as he has never been in an actual relationship before. (And we know that Iliad can be very, very patient indeed.)
And that's that~
I was going to post a part of last years NaNo but eh. Anyone want to read about Jessen being paranoid of the rain and hiding under pillows? I thought not :|

It's been raining and raining and raining all day today. It didn't rain a drop while I was walking to work this early morning but the moment I got in and started opening it was a downpour D: It was rather kind of awesome, though I ended up getting to walk around in it later in the day on dog walks. Aah, no getting pulled across a lawn today. :3
Oh, and because I have been putting this off for ages now. Anyone remember that word-meme? Where one person gives another five words and they are supposed to explain their feelings about them? Well, I have two sets that I've been meaning to do for ages and... well, what better time to do them?

Had a day off today. So what did I do? I slept in until 10AM, ate left over soup, and read fanfiction *laughs* And took pictures. That, too. Taking photos put an idea in my head that I have to wait to do. I hope I can remember it when the time comes.
Kind of pointless, but it is full crew luffings + Iliad and Ladi exploring. Onward!

I gots a box today~ I got to carry it from lower Ballard up my hill after backtracking a few times to cross a busy street at a crosswalk so as not to die. Yeay. I am very tired and this week's schedual looks like hell.
But I'm listening to my Autumn Song and it's cooler outside then what was predicted and it's grand.
Beizi: "Now what is this?"
Iliad: "It would appear to be a rather large, slightly damaged box."
Jessen: "Oooh, I know what this is."

Texas was hot and sticky but enjoyable all in all. I got to:
Go through a mirror maze!
And it was awesome. I now want to find more mazes and try 'm out. :3
Today was spent not doing a whole lot at all. Been reading, writing a little, and unpacking. I took photos for my 30,000th pageview on dA (holy crap, 30,000 pageviews @__@) and realized that while Rem and Meikyou might enjoy each other's company and look fine in real life, through the view finder they are very hard to capture. Seriously. Meikyou looked strange and Rem looked unhappy and it was strange as normally they are fine. *crazy doll lady babble*
Who knows.

DAY TWENTY-NINE.
The Gentlest Smile.
DAY THIRTY. (because I'm not going to have enough time tomorrow to take a picture and post it and do not want to wait until I get back.)
Wind Walker.
Cheated on my last one, too. *laughs* And it's not that great of a photo, but that's life with a JPop doll wig, eh? Tomorrow, we leave bright and early. Off we fly to Texas for a week of resting and eatting at receptions and looking all fancy-pants.
Also, I got new glasses today! 83 They are my new back-ups and are all pretty and red with sparklies. They kind of make me crosseyed, but that's because the glasses I wear right now are kind of skewed and my eyes have gotten too used to those XD;; Oh dear. My glasses now are... hm. I've had them since 6th grade. XD;

Tomorrow, you'll be getting two photos because I think it would be weird to wait until I returned from the business trip to post #30. So. Yes.
Today was slow, again. I got to spend the afternoon sorting files and going braindead. x__x; oh well. I don't mind doing it, but still. I also diced my big toe open on something on the walk home xD; It's a good thing that I had the idea of soaking my work sandals in triple-two tomorrow anyways. That stuff'll get the blood off, I think. :3

DAY TWENTY-SEVEN.
Collar.
(Please to be ignoring the fact that he does not match the body =\)
Anyway, Iliad got his collar yesterday~ I finally finished making that little chain-link thing ^^ It wasn't that hard once one got the hang of it.
So when Iliad was taken away by Tadios, Tadios gave him that to keep him safe. No Dreamikin wanders Starwide without a collar freely- the free Dreamikin are too crafty to be anywhere near the cities and all slaves have the collars. So though Iliad is now free, Tadios thought to keep him safe and not pestered by slave traders by giving him that collar. Iliad does not mind wearing that one at all. :3
Adds: Oho! I just realized that on this day, next month, is my birthday~ WEIRD. XD;

A hero isn't nessesarily a guy dressed in white who carries a gun and shoots and kills all the guys dressed in black. Maybe a hero can be a person who carries a guitar and sings songs that help people of all colors learn to live together peacefully.
