7:21 pm - 30 Day BJD Meme + LIFE
|
Ugh, my eyes burn and my head hurts like I've been crying for ages but I haven't cried at all. Augh, weather. I'm blaming the cold for dry eye, maybe, and the fact that I got to be out in the cold all morning with the dogs on the headache. Maybes.
Anyway! How are you? You think I haven't been reading your journals, but I have. I just ...haven't been writing, or posting, have I? Sorry. :\ Things that have been happening in my life: Not much! + Work. Well, part-time work. I need to find a second job somethin' fierce. + Dogs. And the weirdness that the collie rep. from the Seattle Purebred Rescue suggested buying a puppy. What? He explained that there just aren't any collies for adoption so much anymore because everyone is buying them off of Craigslist or ebay or wherever, and not putting their dogs into the shelters so much anymore. Oh. What? + I finished my NaNoWriMo again this year. Huzzah. Still don't have an actual finished story from it, but oh well.
This was stolen from h_u_s_h_e_d. The 30-day BJD Meme.
( The Days )
 1) Why do you like BJDs? How could I not? Gonna get sappy, maybe, but I like BJD because- just because. I love that you can change them however you wish, and how much personality they can have. I love that two heads of the same mold can look completely different from each other- it is one of my favorite things, how different they can look. How Jessen looks completely different from other wonderful Els, how Kai looks like no other Syo... and so on~ I love how creative they can make a person, and how much inspiration they have given me. Without them, I never would have gotten so into photography and I never would have written my stories, I don't think. They inspire me, and I love 'm for that.
And yes, this meme is an excuse for me to post and bother your flists and take pictures and bother your flists more. Mwaha. Sorry. <3 -Mako 'n the Crew

9:27 pm - The Travels Home Part 1/2 (Photostory! Introductions)
|
So Fremont is ripping raspberries apart like a wild thing and so I post here (can't wait to see him versus blackberries). Hi, guys. Uhm, yes, I'm home, and lo, here is a photostory for you? I haven't done one of these in ages but it seemed right to do. How are you, by the way? How have you been?
But it is an introduction photo story. Hoho. Shocking, I know. Please enjoy?
Rem: "Are you sure that you're warm enough?"
( It's been a cold spring. )
( Brief SakuraCon Omake + Fremont, Berry Killer. )
I didn't take any pictures at SakuraCon, really- I was in a haze of kind of sick, and had no room on my camera *laughs* Spent the day with Nezu and Selene and it was fabulous :D
Now I'ma go fill out a job application (note: dog daycares = fast turnover rate) and watch either Junjo Romantica or Glee. Perhaps both. Hoho.
Hope you enjoyed if you read? Please to be welcoming Remedine home. <3 -Mako 'n the Crew

12:50 am - So darling
|
So I am days late- sorry! Things have been kind of busy lately! Mainly me staying up until 4:40am this morning finishing my math final's project. Ahah, good job, me. I should have had it done ages ago, but that didn't happen. But it looked fine, and it is done, and my prof. seemed to like it?
And so now I am done with Central! I will have my AA degree as soon as it is shipped out! ;~; I graduated. ;~;
( The 30 Days )
day 19 → a talent of yours Er, I still don't think I have talents really. I have little things that I can do, but nothing I could show off at a talent show or anything. I learn song lyrics very quickly (without reading them) and I, uh, have a talent for sorting papers? For filing folders? For preening Fremont's hard to reach head feathers? I don't know. People who know me, do you think I have any talents? O_o
day 20 → a hobbie of yours Collecting things. 9_9;
day 21 → a recipe Ooh! Recipes! I love sharing recipes!
Harry Potter Shepherd's Pie (as seen in the Unnoficial Harry Potter Cookbook I got for Christmas XD)
Ingredients: 1 1/2 pounds ground lamb or beef 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, minced (garlic is fun.) 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1 cup chicken stock (if you don't have it in a carton, start this first because it always seems like it takes forever to make chicken stock.) 2 tablespoons tomato paste (I have no idea what to do with the rest of the little tin o_o) 1 carrot, peeled and chopped 1/2 teaspoon salt Freshly ground black pepper (or, you know, just normal pepper) 3 large Idaho potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters (or five small/medium potatoes) 1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) of butter 1/2 cup half-and-half or whole milk 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Step One: Preheat the oven to 370degrees. (Start your potatoes boiling too- you need to mash them.) In a large skillet, brown the meat, breaking clumps up with a wooden spoon, until it is completely browned and rather crumbly. Drain off the fat and transfer the meat to a plate. Wipe out the skillet with a paper towel, add and heat the oil and saute the onions over medium heat until they turn a golden brown. (Or are soft, you know.) Add the garlic and saute a few seconds until fragrant. Return the meat to the skillet; stir to combine.
Step Two: Sprinkle the flour over th emeet mixture and stir it in. Slowly pour in the chicken stock while stirring, and then add the tomato paste, the carrots, salt and pepper (stirring it all in)- raise the heat and bring it to a simmer. Cook it until it is thick and bubbling and the carrots have softened. (The book says that takes 15 minutes, but I have never checked, I don't think.)
And then it suggests you start on your potatoes, which is insane because they can be boiling all this time just fine. So take your softened potatoes and mash those buggers. Add the butter, half-and-half/whole milk, and salt, and mash it all together. (I also add a touch of sour cream)
Step Three: Put the meat mixture into a deep 9-inch baking dish. Spoon the mashed potatoes on top and you can decorate it by making swirls with a spoon or fork on the potatoes.
Step Four: Bake the pie until it is bubbling aroudn the edges and the potato crust has turned a deeper yellow. It takes about 45 minutes. And it is delicious. You may now eat.
day 22 → a website ...hm...

11:50 pm - Beyond the world, to the end of time
|
I am feeling fabulous right now. Had delicious Irish Coffees with the family this evening, and it was wonderful.
Today, I fell to sleep on my papasan again- I think that, whenever I curl up on that thing, that I fall to sleep. It has happened very often recently. Haha. I meant to do homework today... instead, I fell to sleep. Ahahaa... oh dear.
But I also took pictures of fem!Kai and male!Rem and it amused me greatly. Also, morning sunshine was wonderful. It became overcast later, but the moon came out this evening while I was walking up to my parents' place, and it is very wonderful out. Cold, but nice.
Anyway, the 30day Meme.
( The 30 Days )
day 17 → an art piece (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.)
 Michael Parkes' "Angel Affair"
One of my all time favorites. Found it on an icon ages and ages back, loved it, and then a few years ago (possibly two) I was looking through an art book and saw it! I was so shocked D: Bought the book- I like Michael Parkes' art, though after a while a lot of them start looking alike XD
Ooohooh, time to sleep. Possibly. <3 Also, Dad was not able to find any potassium iodine/iodide, but we are not too worried about it :\ (You can buy it at a place South of Seattle, but you need a prescription and ...yeah. Our landlords in Kyoto are not worried, and so we are not worried, either.)

Fem!Kai is greatly displeased. But so pretty! But so disgruntled. Poor Kai.
 most displeased.
( Just a handful more. Plus man!Rem. )
Hehe, poor Kai. He'll be back to normal soon. Need to pack!
Dad is off to see if he can buy some of the iodine pills/powder/what ever it is as a just in case we need it kind of thing? I'm not sure. This trip is turning into a wild one, and we haven't even left yet!

12:34 am - Sittin' on the front porch, coolin' in the shade, singin' every song the radio played
|
Ah, the news and the American government is telling Americans to not go to Japan right now, and to leave if there already. Erm. We're still going :| (the more I read, the more it is brought to my attention that we are a bit of an alarmist country, aren't we. Not really news but still :\ )
Other then that business, today was my last day of class! Or so we were told- no class tomorrow, and the final business on Monday, and then I'm done! how exciting! I get to do homework and the final tomorrow and then have corned beef and cabage (bleck) and Guiness (!!) tomorrow night for St. Patrick's Day. And Friday, I think we're taking Suuki to the vets finally? Also, I need to clean Luna and Tenki's tank. Always exciting, catching those two wiggly fish.
But this afternoon I got to see myriai and her friend Sandee (??) and we talked dolls and Fremont preened Sandee's hair, and we ate wonderful food and it was great times. Kai is displeased because he got put on Rem's body, and Rem is now on Kai's body, and it is hillarious to me.
See?
"But- but he could just be wearing Rem's dress, that's not proof that he's on a girly body." Well, I'll take more pictures tomorrow. It amuses me greatly. Rem, of course, is rockin' a male body like a champion.
(I just had someone ask me on dA how much I wanted for Imikin o_o; No, uh, not for sale. wtf.)
( The 30 Days )
day 16 → a song that makes you cry (or nearly)
"And it said, 'I'll wait for you at Heaven's gate Oh, I don't care how long it takes And I'll tell Saint Pete I can't come in Without my love and my best friend Oh, this ain't nothin' new Sweetheart, I'll wait for you P.S. I love you, too Sweetheart, I'll wait for you...'"
Every time. Yes, using a country song can be considered cheating, but seriously, when my Mom and I first saw this video we both started crying our eyes out Y_Y
Oh look, it's tomorrow already. <3 -Mako 'n the Crew

11:49 pm - Can't find what you need
|
More and more rain~ And I probably should not be watching Most Shocking on TruTV, but it is so fascinating to me *_*;;
( The 30 Days )
day 15 → a fanfic
Oh boy! :D
Towards Zero by mirabelleafic. Inception fic, Arthur/Eames, NC17. Summary given: "Five levels down, and five to dig yourself back out. Arthur met Eames' projection long before he met Eames."
It is hot as hell and one of my favorite Inception fics- and a random find, too!
Atlas by Angel Baby1. Star Trek '09 fic, mostly gen but ends up Spock/Kirk in the end. Summary given: "Between what was and what will be stands James Tiberius Kirk, in all his fractured patchwork glory. Because saving the Federation was only the beginning. Eventual K/S"
It is more a fic about nu!Trek and how all of the characters fell into their roles. People and things from the original series happen, and it is an amazing, amazing fic. Seriously seriously. Seriously seriously seriously.
I've been reading BBC Sherlock fics recently, but don't have an absolute favorite there. Lots of favorites, yes yes, but none that I automatically think of like those two above.
and! And! Guess what arrived in the mail after school today? (I was asleep at the time- haha)
 OkamiDen!
I am saving it for the trip- I am so very excited for it, though <3
Also, I got chatted up by a barista at Tully's today o_o I went there for their wi-fi in an attempt to get my DS working with it (no luck) and had a very delicious hot chocolate and the barista was all sorts of friendly and... flirting? With me? O_o Probably not. It was very odd, but- well. Haha.
Hope you are well and dry. I watched the wind blow people over today- it was amazing o_o

10:39 pm - And at night you can see the stars
|
So! I actually updated my food blog with my adventures in food making this night. I made croquettes! And they were actually rather tasty! Color me shocked- what with the utter fail of last night's attempt at beef yakisoba, I was feeling kind of down about my cooking abilities. So what better idea then to cook something that has to do with burning hot oil of death.
You can read all about it here. If you want.
( The 30 Days )
day 14 → a non-fictional book
Let's see... a non-fiction... I don't have many of those. Erm, looking at my bookshelf I'm going to ... give you this one. Yes, another dog book. This shouldn't be that much of a surprise.

Last Dog on the Hill by Steve Duno (link takes you to Amazon)
Amazon Description:
"Last Dog on the Hill tells the story of an indigent young Rottweiler mix who, after abandoning his pack and the hills of his birth, went on to change the lives of hundreds of people and dogs, including the author’s, whose career as a behaviorist and writer was made possible through Lou’s extraordinary intelligence and heart. Lou won the respect of gang members, foiled an armed robbery, caught a rapist, fought coyotes and kidnappers, comforted elderly war veterans and Alzheimer patients in their final days, taught ASL to kids, learned scores of unique behaviors and tricks, amassed a vocabulary of nearly 200 words, helped rehabilitate hundreds of aggressive dogs and saved them from euthanasia. He was also a clown, consummate performer and Steve’s best friend for sixteen years. His story will make readers laugh and cry in equal measures."
Oh yes, it made me cry. It is a fabulous book.
omg squee, just got an email from Amazon saying that my Okamiden has shipped! *_* So not only do I have Pokemon Black to play with while traveling, I also have Okamiden now, too *__* So stoked. I've been waiting for this for ages ;3;
People keep asking me if I am still going on my trip to Japan after the earthquake and tsunami. Yes, yes we are. We're leaving next Thursday- staying in Kyoto for msot of it with three nights in Takayama. (We get to see one of their festivals! With the floats and everything! I am very excited.) I hope to see kazumi and Volks and eat wonderful food and again, completely stoked to go. *_* I can't believe it is just next week! Holy crap, that means that I only have what, three 'n a half days left of school? WOOHOO! And then I will be done with Central and have an AA Degree! That is awesome. Still don't know what to do with my life. Will figure something out.

9:15 pm - I swear when we touched - I saw heaven in your eyes
|
So the new Pokemon game is fascinating. But why do I always choose the male chara to be? :\ I don't think I've been a girl in any of my games ever. Hm. :|
I took pictures today! Quite shocking, I know. I'll post them later. (Remind me if I don't.) They all look very much alike, but that's the nature of the beast right now, methinks.

Other then that, I've been doing homework all day. Yes, I skipped class to do homework. I know, I know, don't have to tell me. Nothing was due today, but this homework is due tomorrow, and it was a doozy. So! But I finished it, and color me accomplished for that. Also, it feels almost like I am choking- like something is stuck in my throat and it's been there most of the day. Almost like one of my necklaces is too tight- but none of them are and I can swallow and breathe fine so what is this feeling? O_o
( The 30 Days )

12:09 am - You're the reason I live, you're the reason I die
|
Today: Laundry! And more laundry. And homework. And Fremont singing along to Meatloaf songs in whistles and chitters. He is so very, very clumsy these days- methinks the vet trimmed his wings a little short and that plus having his nails trimmed leaves him very clumsy indeed.
It is his birthday today! Fremont is two years old today.
Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done. Day Six: Five people who mean a lot(in no order whatsoever). Day Seven: Four turn offs. Day Eight: Three turn ons. Day Nine: Two smileys that describe your life right now. Day Ten: One confession.
You know what? No. This meme annoys me :| Sorry.

day 06 → whatever tickles your fancy

3:59 pm - Oh simple thing, where have you gone?
|
What is going on, Seattle? It looks like it snowed in my backyard...but it is just hail! Sunshine, intense wind, and rain while sunny and now hail? Is there a reason you are being overly emotional right now? Ah, you're in March. Got it.
Fremont gets to go to a new vet tomorrow, and it will be an ~*adventure*~ I'm sure he'll be thrilled. The only problem is that it is out in Bellevue- the one exotic vet in Seattle itself is on Aurora, and I've been there twice and... I just didn't like it. At all. The staff in the lobby were very friendly, but the actual vet that I saw just- I didn't like her :\ I took him there for his first ever vet check back about a year ago, when I first got him, and she ranted and raved about how I bought him from a pet store and how I was feeding him the wrong food and he was going to die from liver poisoning/overweighted problems/heart problems/etc. And she kept on about it for most of the event. I understood you the first time- change his diet, gotcha, can we talk about him now? No? Damnit. :| And then when I visited to get his wings trimmed (after he flew into a window 9_9; ) the tech that was doing the deed also ranted at me about how she thought him fat. "What do you feed him?" "THE STUFF YOU TOLD ME TO FEED HIM." It didn't help that I couldn't, for the life of me, remember the brand of pellet that I feed him. "Do you want more samples?" NO. No I do not. BAH. And so, I have been searching for a different vet ever since. Here is hoping that tomorrow will go well!
Stolen from everyone ages back.
1. I like dogs more then people most of the time, but that's not really a secret.
2. I am thoroughly amused by terrible puns. "Why did the golfer wear two pairs of pants?" "In case he got a hole in one." BAHAHAAHAAAA...oh dear.
3. I like watching lighter hearted movies- or at least ones that end well. Movies like Lust Caution do not entertain me. They just make me feel kind of sad all over o_o So yes, I like me romantic comedies (don't look at me like that) and science fictions and histories and romance and yes. Action, too! Hell, I enjoy all movies, except those that are just never ending angst. (Oh man, you should have seen my friends and I at Pan's Labyrinth! No idea that it was that dark. XD; )
4. I have some serious wanderlust, and if I don't move, don't get out of the city sometimes, I start- I guess I just start thinking about traveling across the country. One of the worries of getting a car! Haha. With a car, I will have the freedom (sort of but not really because, hey, money does not just appear in my pockets) and probably end up putting stuff into the back of it, Fremont in a cage on the floor of the passenger seat, and just driving. And driving some more. So if I ever suddenly have radio silence on here and I didn't tell you anything, that might be what happened. (If, you know, I had a car. Hahahaaa....)
5. It does not take me that long to learn song lyrics- give me a few listens, and I will have the bare bones down. This includes songs in different languages.
6. I collect weird things. Flattened pennies, tiles from places I've been, old books, old dog books, not so old dog books... I used to covet marbles- friends and I would never play the actual game with the circle and all. No, we would make families out of them. Sorting and memorizing, because you can't put your name on a marble.
7. I am mildly allergic to cats. Adore them (and I miss Suuki) but a great number of them all together make me sneeze and sneeze and sneeze.
8. If something does not interest me, it is hard for me to concentrate on it, which makes this math in society class complicated.
9. Fremont doesn't know how to talk, but I like to believe that he and I have a way of communicating with his whistles and chitters that I can immitate back at him.
Damn, have to go get the doormat again. It went flying off of my front porch again D:
30 Days Of Sharing
( The 30 Days )
day 02 → your favourite movie
That is so very difficult. I have a lot of movies that I can watch over and over and over again. The Studio Ghibli movies (especially Princess Mononoke) and Disney movies and the Star Trek movies (old and new) and Inception and just- how can I choose one? But let's see. What was a favorite when I was little... besides the My Little Pony movie that is far, faaaaar longer then you actually expect, I'd say it would be Unico (the first one). (I think I was in love with the music and shiny unicorn. Same goes for The Last Unicorn.)
Also, I liked the West Wind :D
Now, to rearrange books! And probably sneeze a whole lot because of dust! Cheers to that!

9:13 pm - Who knows how long I've loved you
|
So, er, hi guys. It's been yet another month, more or less. I am a failure at posting these days. Y_Y Sorry. I miss you!
Things have been interesting here, I guess. Seattle is having fun times with snow and there is news all over here about "BIG STORM OMG" and what do we get? A dusting. If that. It is pretty durn cold here, though. @@
Lo, I do still have dolls! Here, some photos. I have been taking this for... about a month or more now, I think? Portrait-types, and then I messed with the coloring. It was fun. Totally not posting these in the order I took them (took Beizi's picture first, Jessen's last, for example) but there you go. They aren't the best, but ... oh well.
-Statues Crumble for Me-
Rediculously blue and lo, it is Jessen. :3 And more people forget that he does, in fact, have another eye and that it is green, not blue *laughs*
( Onwards, if you please. )
Also! Also. ( Does anyone know how to care for really old silk? )
I have a sort of festering infected wound c/o Fremont (thanks bunches, bird) as well as one right next to my nail on my right pointer finger. Ow. TT; Silly bird is heading towards molting again, and last time that happened, he got all shades of grumpy. Also, his second birthday is on March 6th! And I will have had him for a year a week after that. Goodness. But then he does sweet things like fall asleep under my hand with one foot up and his beak all pushed up against one of my fingers. Wish I could get a picture of it.
Now, to end this long post, here's some Fremont. Rolling onto his side.
What the hell, bird? XD I love when he sticks his little foot up in the air- I had never seen him tuck it up while rolling over before, so there's that. Crazy bird.

12:24 am - I am who I'm supposed to be
|
Hello, my darlings. It's been a while.
Happy New Years! Merry Christmas. The likes! I hope your holidays were grand, and I hope for a great new year for you and yours.
Here, some pictures for you. I return from my wanders and toss pictures at you. Sorry! Hehee~ Fremont just took a wander across the house, following me from the computer to the kitchen to the pantry, where the old mt. dew cans are recycled. I love watching him waddle XD
From the Christmas time, all alight with Christmas lights while sitting on my toes.
( +2 )
Other then Fremont amusements, I've been going to Christmas parties and my very first New Years party, which was enjoyable. Sat around and stayed up and slept in and it was good. Had a drink called a Bee's Kiss, which is a jigger of rum (in this case, vanilla rum), a teaspoon (or two) of honey, and a teaspoon (or two) of cream shaken with ice~ Yum!
Also, Dad got an ice-cream maker for Christmas. It is fabulous, and we now have some very tasty vanilla and some very tasty chocolate-chip cookie dough icecream (that has almond extract instead of vanilla, because he ran out). YUM. I'm curious as to what else we can make!
Speaking of making things, before Christmas, I made crossants. Crossaints? Crescent Rolls?
These things. They were flaky and hellish to make, and delicious, and are all gone now. Sad times.
( Butter dog! )
Gaius, in the holiday spirit. She came to our house from my Grandma's house, and arrived at my Grandma's house from my Great Grandmother's house. She is made of marble, and I always thought that she was a sculpture of my mother when I was little.
And to finish it off, I leave you with pictures of Beizi. Someone on dA asked me to take more pictures of him because she liked his face. Well then. I like his face too, but he is very hard to get pictures of these days. I need to buy myself some elastic and restring him and Tashriel really, really badly, for serious. Neither of them can really even sit up anymore- it is sad. I am a fail. And I need to take more pictures of my crew. I have been neglecting them! TT; Just like I have been neglecting you, friends list. Don't think that just because I have not commented or posted anything in a coon's age means that I haven't been reading- I have! But I've still been kind of...away. I guess. There is that.

( Almost forgot to actually post these! )
But I have new music, and new books, and am happy. School starts back up on Tuesday (boo) but I only have one class... my last class, hopefully. Goodness, it only took me six years. 9_9; Also, it makes me kind of a bad person, but I can't help but chuckle a little when I hear cars trying to get over the ice-sheet that is the bottom of my hill. The trick is to speed up at the very bottom, below the ice, and to coast over it. Tricky, but possible. But people don't seem to know what to do about this giant bit of ice, and so try to shoulder their way up and then it is just a mess.
But anyway, Happy New Year to you. <3
- Mako 'n the Crew
p.s. this song is from the newest Kate & Anna McGarrigle CD, Oddities, and I adore it. I adore it a lot~ <3

Oh look, part two! Sort of. And look, Kheta gets his hand fixed! It's only been what, half a year? A year? I am terrible.
Previously, in Introductions... Jessen, the Owner of the Lacy Undies
Kheta: "Hello, hello! Once again, we return. Today, we are going to introduce you to the crew's in-house grump!"
( Kai, the Wonder Healer... thing. )
( Omake with what was watching me... )
So Kheta's hand was finally fixed. Hurrah! Super glue, not so scary after all. But yes'm, his pinky was harder to get back on then the ring finger. It ended up being blue because of the toothpick I was using... oops. But it works for him- his scarred face is blue, and so I'm not too worried.

4:39 pm - Introduction to Starwide: Jessen (photostory? Thing?)
|
So I got some weird hairbrained sort of idea. I haven't taken pictures of my crew in forever, and part of me thinks that it would be good to be reintroduced to them, both for you and for me. Because seriously? It's been ages. First up is, of course, Jessen. :3 (oh my goodness, but what the hell happened to photobucket? I missed this whole 'update' thing that makes using this thing insane. wth photobucket.)
Kheta: "Hello! Once again, we meet. Today, with the help of my friendly sheep friend, we're going to start showing you the oh-so-glorious life of those that live here!"
( Onward, to the lacies. Wait, what? )
( Omake with a cat and a frozen rain chain. )
Until next time, whenever that shall be. Comments adored <3 -Mako 'n the Crew
p.s. So I am totally listening to music that I have not heard in ages. And also, since when did Chris Pine sing? My mind is boggled.
Also. Journal, why are you suddenly centered? What the hell, livejournal? O__o

1:45 am - Forever Plankton
|
Well all seven of you are awesome. But now, from that poll on my last post (daaaaaaaays ago), I have a dilema. There was a tie on what to turn Beizi into in his next life.
~ A wild fish? (Salmon, trout, shark, marlin, plankton) ~ Human (Human!) (Man? Woman? Something ELSE?) and ~A face in the marble wall in a bathroom?
Well damn! XD Those three all got two votes. And because I like making polls, here you go.

Huzzah. We'll see if anyone does it. XD
Also, because I am bored and need to go to sleep, I have a question for you.
What would you trade Forever for?
Yes, yes, it has to do with my Sketchbook Project theme. I have sort of run into a bump in my flow and do not know what to do next. So ideas are welcome!
(Oh, you can see the few poorly scanned pages I have finished starting here) I am beginning to hate glue. A lot. Like, a lot a lot.
Sleep well. Be good to each other. <3 -Mako 'n the Crew

11:21 pm - Rest of our lives
|
Hi! How are you?
My November is booked. There is NaNoWriMo (poll to come~), and then there is the Sketchbook Project (which is slaughtering me but is fun~!) and then there is school which means math and homework and a research paper and presentations. I haven't been able to take any pictures of my crew in what feels like forever. I feel bad =\ Need to get my tush into gear and take some photos, but my November! It just began and it is already grinding me to bits and pieces and.. yes.
But here is a poll. Tonight I got to write about Beizi sneaking onto a boxcar and traveling across the country like a hobo :D I thoroughly enjoy writing Beizi's parts of my NaNo as I can turn him into anything I damn well please with his whole "Oh, you died, damn, well here is another life in a different time and as a completely different life" bit. So far (over the previous two years) he has been humans a few times, a dog, a tree, and he's a human again right now.

What should Beizi be in his next life?

:D Seriously, ideas are awesome times. I started writing him as a salmon fry, but got distracted by the idea of him hopping on a boxcar and traveling across the country. Anyway, his previous life hadn't ended yet and so I had to take care of that.
Also, let's see, here is the art challenge from last month. I bought a few copic markers and attempted to use them today. It was a joke, I know, but I have to start somewhere~ XD;

"And I, Jack, the Pumpkin King That's right! I am the Pumpkin King, hahahaha! And I just can't wait until next Halloween!" um. Yes. I bought the soundtrack today. I also bought Sugarland's CD, "Enjoy the Ride" and while listening to it, it reminds me of working in the early morning listening to manager!Chris' country music list with the dogs :3
