| Bio: | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Jeshide~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  A young woman with too much time on her hands and not nearly enough hours in the day to waste. No actually, I am a quite busy woman, but mange to make enough time for LiveJournal. I hope to make a place where I can have fun and meet new people. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~About Me~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was born and raised in Colorado and still hold onto that love for the West. From an early age, I fell in love with the arts—arts and crafts filling my day just as every other kid was out and about making new bruises and reopening old scars. A real tom-boy I was though, if I wasn’t in my house making some useless pop cycle stick box or finger-painting, I was out with my little buddy Travis, in the Three Sister Swamp catching water snakes and grasshoppers that would challenge the size of our small fists. Till this day, I do not consider myself a girly-girl, a nice pair of jeans and a comfortable Tshirt is all I need. Now don’t get me wrong, I am killer in a black lace dress and a pair of stilettos. But as far as everyday life, as an artist, I need to wear something comfy and durable. I have grown up some, but that love of art never really did leave me. I am currently working on my BFA (Bachelors of Fine Arts) double major in painting and photography. As more means come my way, I will be posting more of my art on my LiveJournal. I was raised half the time in a Muslim home. My Father is Lebanese and my Mother is an American, naturally they ran into problems and are no longer married; though they shared thirteen years of a loving marriage. I am a Christian, like my mother, but have a great respect and empathy for the Islamic world. Likewise some of my work reflects my ties to the Middle East. I am constantly seeking to educate others on the Mormon and Muslim world, correcting the false rumors and promoting the beautiful things that come from them. I am also pro-peace. I am a complete cat lover! I have had well over 36 cats in my lifetime (not all at the same time, mind you) and know just about everything there is to know about the feline world. I am also full of random facts and interesting information. That is what years of late night Discovery Channel does to you I guess. Japanese Animation or Anime is a huge part of my life, and has been sense I was 12 years old. Actually, I am a fan of all things Animation and Illustration. I have a great respect for those who can do it well. I love comic books/manga and adore illustration artbooks. Which tends to be where most of my 'spending' money goes. Illustration has a very special place in my heart, it was actually the first style of art I began to explore years ago. I was offered a deal with Disney Inc. in 2002 which I ended up declining. They were going to send me to CalArts (California College of Art and Design) if I signed a contract with them to work for Disney Studios for ten years. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Friend Policy~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am a real nice girl once you get to know me and am always looking to make a new friend.
