For your general information I'm Raecene and am 19 years old. My strange name is due to my equally strange heritage, being a half-dutch, half-philippina New Zealander. Who says I'm not exotic? ;). I'm noisy and talkative and will do anything for a laugh. If I come off as quiet then I've probably just met you or I'm shy and I'm trying to tone it down so as not to scare you off.

Time:

I spend my weekdays going to school (International Business at the University of Tilburg), hanging around, playing cards, and sometimes actually even doing school-related stuff.

The past few months my schedule has allowed me some free days in between and those are spent catching up on stuff. Stuff being:

Either homework which is usually een hele korte poging.

Or sleep, since ik niet netjes na Sesamstraat naar bed ga, and since I'm forced to wake up at bloody ungodly hours.

Or time with friends which equals dicking around with OV and visiting friends all over the place.

I spend my weeknights with my secret love affair: Aikido. I'm a complete aikido addict and have been so for over 6 years already. I'm a 1st degree blackbelt, hoping to be 2nd degree sometime this year. I also got my teacher's degree last year and I now teach an adults class on Friday nights in the Essbra (18:30-19:30)and kids classes on Saturday mornings (10:00-11:30) and Friday nights (17:30-18:30) and Private lessons on Sundays. We're also currently working on deals for me to give workshops at a high school and to teach a group of chinese kids. Besides teaching I train 2 or 3 nights a week as well.

Other weeknights are spent hanging out at friends' places and going clubbing.

My weekends are spent in a wide variety of ways, so if you're ever bored, you know where to find me :P.

Other things I love doing are cooking, going shopping, talking on the phone/smsing people, snacking (Chocolate is my life-source), reading, channel-surfing, internet, watching movies/tv, playing video games, traveling, going to parties and flirting with cute guys ;).

Movies:

I love watching movies! Of course for every person, there's a movie out there. So here's my list of recommendations:



Boondock Saints: My absolute favorite movie ever. I always watch this one, when I'm at home feeling sick. It'll definitely pick you up from whatever hole you're in. Am still waiting for part 2 to be released. I <3 Connor and Murphy! The speech at the end is soooo good!

Pulp Fiction: Samuel L. Jackson is probably one of the coolest actors out there. The dialogue between him and John Travolta is truly hilarious. Plus it makes you wanna do the twist ;).

American History X: Watch out for the curb scene :(! Incredible movie that really gets you thinking. Edward Norton deserves an award for his acting!

Fight Club: Bloody brilliant movie! The first time I watched it, I thought it was crap because I wasn't paying attention. I watched it again though and saw it's doordachtheid. Once again watch out for Edward Norton. I loved the movie so much I even went in search of the book. Oh and btw download This is your life by the Dust Brothers, so you can hear Tyler Durden!

Se7en: Sick as hell but worth every second you spend on it. Truly disgusting shit in here, sloth was so gross. One of the best thrillers out there.

"He's a nut-bag! Just because the fucker's got a library card doesn't make him Yoda!"



Snatch: Hmmm the 3rd Brad Pitt movie in the list :O. Guy Ritchie is a damn good director. Once again funny as hell. Watch out for the pikeys!

"Protection from what? "Zee Germans"?"



Kill Bill: Another Quentin Tarantino! Actually you should scrap the list and watch all of his movies. I love the swords in this movie, give me a Hanzo sword! If I ever am able to use my sword like that I'd be happy.

"Silly Caucasian girl likes to play with Samurai swords".

Bridget Jones's Diary: This movie should not be watched, EVER, there is not a single mood I could be in, in which I wouldn't find this movie sickening. Do not go near this movie, I wouldnt even touch it with a ten foot pole and special antibacterial glovies! And I HATE Hugh Grant movies :O.

TV:

Current favorite is House MD, Hugh Laurie is geniaaal. For the rest I must stay true to my true loves Gilmore Girls and Grey's Anatomy. For the rest Heroes and Prison Break, echt helemaal gek op! Also watch Friends, Will and Grace and Sex and the City.

Games:

I'll admit to the fact that I'm a girl who plays computer games :D. And SNES might just be the best thing that happened to this earth. Back when I had a lot more free time on my hands I played quite a lot. Most of the good games in between the following list are Yori-influenced Morrowind, Heroes of Might and Magic, Might and Magic, Settlers, Riven, Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, Seiken Densetsu, Zelda, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and Mario(all versions including Kart)

Sport:

Currently, Aikido of course. I also love to dance (and not the pansy stijldans kind of dancing), but this is usually a clubbing activity, so don't expect me to be busting any fancy streetdance moves. I also do aerobics/yoga with my mum at times. And since I've been on this new health kick I'm also into jogging every other day.

I used to do gymnastics when I was younger and my wrists weren't quite as weak. And when I was reeeaaally a lot younger I did ballet :p

Sports I don't do but sure like to watch are football (or soccer), basketball, martial arts, figure skating, extreme sports, surfing, snowboarding, gymnastics and rugby.

Food and Drinks:

Since my mum is a Philippina, I'm damn used to good food.

Breakfastfood would be empanada, straciatella-yoghurt or my latest discovery POP TARTS!!

For dinner I like eating tocino, fried chicken, fried rice, pancit canton, loempia's, this new chicken thing we invented, adobo, frietjes, spaghetti and roast (I also like a lot of other foods, but I'm forgetting them right now :p).

As for food that I don't make myself, I love Japanese food, Pizza's and Lechon Manok. I'm trying to be adventurous when it comes to food, so whatever you'd cook for me I'd try of course ;). I must warn you though I don't do raw food that well.

As for all other periods, I depend on chocolate like I do on oxygen. I also love ice-cream (Ben and Jerry's: Fossil Fuel or Cookies and Cream) and cookies! Just junk food in general :P.
As for drinks, I love water, ice tea, Aquarius and MILKSHAKES! Besides that I am one of those girls that actually doesnt get grossed out by beer, and will most commonly be found drinking this during et stappen. If the occasion calls for it I can also drink Martini's, Vodka and Bailey's.

Places:

The Philippines feels like home for me and Cebu City has my heart. Places to be there are the malls, the beach resorts, the look-out point over the whole city, langtad with my little cousins, the high-school, but above all Naga on my hill looking out over the sea.

Hellmouth, it's not that exciting but Helmond is still the place I spend most of my life. All my old friends are here, my house, my old schools. It may be small and all that, but I have a ton of good memories here, so feel free to ask for the scenic route if you're ever in the neighbourhood ;).

Tilly, where I spend a lot of my time too. My school and my new friends are there. Shopping with Robje in free periods! The place to go clubbing, world of fun really.
L-town, Rain's home and my home away from home ;). Rain dr dakterras is mad chill en I love her room. Exploring the city is nice and Leiden throws some mad wicked parties.
Trekky, Vy's pimproon and my home away from home away from home ;). One of the best places to hang. En afstappen onder de Dom!! Erm when lacking a different phrase: Utrecht da bom o_O!
And finally, Eeeeintofuuh, home of my dojo and the only place around here I would shop. Eindhoven love!

Mode of transportation:

Well right now, since I'm not in the posession of any kind of license whatsoever, I rely mainly on my feet, my sis's bike and the wonders of Dutch public transport o_O.

Now the next time I win the lottery, or have too much time and money on my hands, it is my goal to get a license. Yes _a_ license, I am as of yet undecided what kind of license I would like.

Motorbikes are love! And I sure as hell would like to own one or be able to ride one. Yeah hahahah, go ahead and laugh it off, "Cene, you are so not the motorbike type, you aren't rough enough for that". Well fuck you very much, nobody thought I was tough enough to do a martial art and look where I am now. Now as for what types of motorbike, it is pretty obvious I won't be having a chopper or a Harley. I'd love to have a Kawasaki Ninja, Honda CBR954 RR, Ducati 999, Buell Firebolt XB12R or a Suzuki Hayabusa (but I'm pretty sure that most of these may be a little too much for me to handle). These motorbikes are so hot, motorbikes in general are sexiii. But this is probably all just wishful thinking :(

As for cars, yes I would also like a driver's license. What kind of car I drive shouldn't be such a big deal, as long as it's not a station wagon or a Fiat Multipla. But since I'm still stuck in the wishful thinking mindset, I shall grace you with my opinions on cars. I love old muscle cars xD. Once again "Ooh Cene that is so out of character for you", yeah I know. But they're cool, so give me a Corvette Stingray, Pontiac or a Ford Mustang. Newer versions of these cars are ofcourse also allowed. Knowing me though I'll probably end up driving one of those really old mini's o_O.

Now please keep in mind that all this is wishful thinking, feel free to mock me for it some other time. But before you start that, keep in mind that I'm a girl and am not _supposed_ to be too knowledgeable about all this crap ;p

And besides that I must add that though I have no problem with flying in airplanes for long periods of time. I _HATE_ airplanefood

Days of the Year:

Oeeh I loooove Christmas, the best Holiday of the year. I love buying people presents and seeing the looks on their faces when I give it to them. Oeh and the Christmas tree and decorations and the songs and sending cards! Christmas makes me so happy.

And I love my Bday, because it's a chance to get all my friends together or my family and just talk and laugh and catch up for a change.

And I love Carnaval, the Brabo-holiday. Horrible crappy-ass music and everybody making a complete fool of themselves. Some people see this holiday as an excuse to get drunk, and it might just be that but who cares ;).

Oeh en Sisters' Day, a self-invented holiday by me and Rain, just an excuse to give eachother gifts and do crazy things together
