"The Canadian dollar continued its meteoric rise Wednesday, breaking through the US$1.10 barrier in overseas trading."
Debt makes me very uncomfortable. I'm happiest with a zero balance on my credit cards. Since my trip(s) oversea(s), the balance is somewhere else. Lately, I've been leaving myself with almost no disposable income. Any superfluous earnings go directly to combat Visa and co.
Once upon a time, when I was working in New York (and Edita was in Chile :( ) My stay was cut short, as were my chances with Zoom Media (not this again Mandelker! Ok, fine.) I purchased $637USD for close to $900CAD. Today, $637USD is worth $581CAD.
Do you know about me and New York? Our relationship, I mean. I know many people will claim it's their favourite (or favorite) place, and "let's go shopping," but I don't swing that way. NY and I are not like that. And I can vote there bitches. *snap snap snap*
It's not a contest.
At least the bitches can go shopping.
(They're not all bitches. Case in point: My LAMB shoes just arrived <3)
In conclusion: My $900 (which would be a nice chunk off the credit card) is now worth $581.
It seems silly to use it now, as $581. But I don't know the future of our dollars, if I should hang on to them and they'll increase in value, or if it's better to bite the bullet and take the loss, because the longer a balance remains on the cc the more interest will have to be paid.
And our poor exports etc.
