Moving..

I created _impressionable LJ cos imp (as in imp for dragonbond.com) was already taken. I never liked the name though.

I know 90% of what I post in this LJ is doll stuff anyway, but I think, yes, I wanna start anew. Its probably an exam thing, where I'm prone to sudden decisions, like haircuts, spring cleaning, furniture moving etc, but yeah, I'm sure I'm not going to use this LJ anymore.

I'm reviving my long untouched LJ lisadragon (coincidentally, last entry was 28th Oct 2003, a year and 3 days ago) for my personal daily life/rant diary, and making a new LJ for my dolls and toys.

The new LJ will be dragonbond, which is actually my domain name, which contains absolutely nothing at the moment, except for imp! site. I would like to add those who usually talk about dolls/toys 80% of the time. Please add my other journal if you mainly talk about your personal things and rarely about dolls/toys.

I'm going to make Kali (my supposed goth girl) an elf girl. Of course, she'll still have goth faceup to be 'Kali', but this way I'll kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I luff elves. (Read: I love Legolas!!!! >_<)

So now, I'm bundling both Jerome and mature girl body together to save cost. Man I need USD $550 (Jerome head + Boy body + Mature girl body + shipping). And another $135 (RML M20-F head + Crescent fees + shipping)

I'm convinced that AR's new skintone is now white, or at least whiter than before. Thanks twotone! <3

I have a feeling I'm getting Ren with the white skin for Alitos. Which makes that ALL my dolls have the same body sculpt. I want to try Volks/CP tooooo ;_; I have to think again.

Edit: I decided with AR/BF sculpt cos Volks/CP/SoulKids/Yomo have childish bulky bodies whereas AR/BF or even DOD has more mature, lean bodies. What can I say I'm already converted.

Vish came down on Thursday. We went to dinners, movies, shopping. It was a 4 day holiday for both of us. On Sunday, I was sad to see it end. I console myself that its only 1 more month for my trip to KL and to see Vish again. *sigh* I miss him so.

But enough of whining. My work is progressing well. I want to finish everything soon, exams are in 3 weeks time! *dies*

Not only Rathi has wig and eyes makeover! I straightened my hair last Saturday for the 3rd time.. my annual hair straightening thing. Its late this year cos of many financial setbacks. Oh yeah. This year I got Rathi. Enough said >_<;;;

Finally got it today ^_^ Although it is now fullcap unlike the other, this is prolly my history of purchases. I'm happy with a brown waffle wig n now bluemix one.

I also got a box from Lily for Seph. She said there's stuff for me so I opened it and eeek! Super cute purple fabric *love* and more purple clips ^__^ *is happy* Lily gave me some laces too... I got an idea for the wider one but not the smaller one.. I'll think of smtg tho. And Seph's stash of Wing fur wigs, har har. Much fun I had, cos unfortunately I had to back out of Kim-chan's Wing wigs group order due to financial reasons. =/ Love it tho that my friends are around and I can play anyway.. hehe! (Pics on my imp! blog)

Other things: Still busy with assignments. But happy, cos next week bf is coming down during weekend to see me. Really need to cheer up and not think of assignments for a few days. *huggles* And if you have not visited Seph's BoyToys site, please run. NOW.

I'm having my week free now but the amount of work, group discussion and things I need to do is overwhelming. I feel stuffed over my head. Doesn't help I think I'm having PMS moodiness, grumpiness, lethargy -_-;

You can keep your stuff, wallet, keys etc and not squash her eyelashes / ruin her faceup

Had a good weekend XD Back on Thursday night, straight slept but Friday was spent doing my asmt and actually doing great progress. Its the fresh cool river air. ^_^;; Took pics, and on Saturday had a nice day out with Seph and Phoenixlancer. Had a nice lunch and then craft shopping.

By 5 something we were back at my place and deboxing Squall and Riria. ^___^ Talked, had coffee and then it was time to leave =( and sent Seph back. I hung out at her place again, cos she had new stuffs. Picked up my various wigs, said Hi to the boys. Damn I wish I kidnapped Shy. XD

Packed and Sunday back in Miri again. Gotta do more assignments. Argh. T_T;; I did manage to sign up at freewebs.com, and put up pics. Enjoy : tempoimp!

Three of my girl friends dropped by my room.. Whoa, crowded! Its a good thing I stole an extra chair from the kitchen ^_^;; We talked and stuff. They came to give me my belated bday present .. aww T_T So sweet.

Here he is!! A companion for Paul Mc Cartney (the pink pig beanie).. Smokey! They knew how much I loved cats XD~ He's such a grumpy one though.. but I looooove him. *pokes*

I found cotton knits somewhere in town, but they are too thick. I can still try making a tshirt, but I think she'll look puffed up >_>

I'm in love. Its Ren as Prode of Jocker (whatever that is...) I went *_* That's Alitos! Sigh. And he is limited! And I'm going to cry because I don't have the money to get him.

*depressed*

Submitted assignment earlier. Another assignment to do. *sigh* *sigh* My brain is cluttered and its so tiring to muddle through it everyday and not having something accomplished at the end of the day is just .. disheartening. I want to do many things. Things I don't have time for. Luckily I am having a few weeks holiday in December to do things. But by then, I might not have the options I'm lusting for. Then again, I might have new options to lust after, who knows, I'm fickle. I probably can love any doll with the right faceup.

Its not just dolls. I have a lot of obsessions. Maybe .. phases. Phases I still like to visit now and then because they make me feel happy. But again, there should be more than 24 hours in a day. I can't accomodate gaming, anime, reading, graphics, websites... even my past love, karate. I love it still. I just don't have the time for it.

I hate this feeling of helplessness. I'm still dependent on my parents, and I'm still on Waiting Mode about how my relationship is going to be. Its not us, its that we have different religions and parents we're not willing to subject to relatives and neighbours ridicule if we just up and leave to another country to get married and settle down.

I guess I'm so into other things like dolls, because I want to forget. Shut my worries away. That also isn't helping me at the moment. If I wasn't cynical already, I would now grow to be one. How .. lovely.

1. Does Starhub have a fixed-line service? Why isnt it on the website? -_- My group members and I were doing research, and according to a Singaporean (who is also taking this unit), there is! But we can't find it gah!!

2. Does SingTel have any weakness at all? *_* We're so amazed at their market leadership in the industry (well they are the first) and strong branding. But *no* weakness at all? We cant find any either. Please help?!

I have the curse of being a morning person. I wake up early regardless of what time I slept. Even if I slept at 3am... Tho on days like this you might find me taking a nap in the evening. XD But anyhoo.. Rathi was actually in pieces for a whole 2 days ;_; I've never have the courage to restring her myself, and it was always Seph who helped me with that... stuff. Making a washer for her s-hook as well.

But the other day, the hook in her right foot came off while I was standing her, and her calf and thigh dropped on the table and I went ".........." Okay. So the next day I went and bought superglue and glued it back together, waited a whole day for it to set firmly and this morning restrung her! yay!!! I did it myself XD lol. Made a new washer for her s-hook as well cos the other one was disintegrating by the minute! Without further ado, here is my baby! In her new apple green eyes, and a top I sewed in 5 minutes. I was trying a new tool, the eyelet clipper thing. I love it.. tho not so happy with the hole maker thing (I think this tool was for paper/files, not fabric) .. its not sharp enough to make crisp holes.

What am I doing still awake at 2.35am? *_* I dont know. Surfed everywhere, it seems, chatting with Seph all the while. lol. We went from .. I forgot. But we did go to Luts, Angelregion site, Y!J, then me to BlueFairy site.. and then we talked abt RML, and made her want the elf msd sized one. Hohoho.. XD Oh yeah! We were ordering some stuff at audreysdolls.com, which came to a halt cos wanted to make sure shipping was reasonable before checkout..

Now I'm trying to resize James patterns to MSD size. I wanted to print it SD size but it came out so small. I printed in Paint in 100% already! Argh. I made it work back on my other PC ;_;

Ah, things that make me happy.. The buyer for the purple dress attached pictures of her girl, I assume named Irena from the picture names, wearing the outfit! *proud*

She's so cute sitting like that I want to pinch her cheeks!! Thank you Catherine XD
