Isn't it funny how things can feel so awesomely right and be going so well and then all the sudden everything just majorly sucks?

I guess it's really not that funny.

How was everyone's Valentine's Day? Mine was pretty awesome. First year I've actually been in a relationship on this most loved (/hated) of days. ^.^ We went for breakfast in the morning and then made use of a photobooth in the mall. NO NOT IN THAT WAY YOU DIRTY-MINDED PEOPLE! :D



Then Naytron showed up from Edmonton and we hung out with him and his friend Ryan and another dude named Manning showed up. We chilled with them for a while and then we....went to sleep....yeah. ^.~

OH MY GOD. I just have one question to ask you: Why is it that whenever I have a slight cold or feel a little bit congested you take that opportunity to get infected? I have had so many freakin' infections in you and they hurt really fucking bad and I can't hear out of you...it's getting a little old. Most ears stop getting infections when people are out of elementary school but noooo not you. You have to get infected no matter what. And I'm 20! And I really don't want to deal with you right now so if you could just stop right now that would be super fantastic. THANKS!

I'm going to visit my boyfriends parents in Port Hope, Ontario (small town...sort of near Toronto) in March. Weird. Feels like a big step. Not that I'm against it, on the contrary, I'm totally stoked. But still. Weeeiiiirrrd. And I've never been to Toronto so that should be fun! :D

My paid account is going to die pretty soon. Oh well...I never have time for my old mistress these days anyway. Poor Eljay. I did love you at one point. We were inseperable...remember? Those were good times. But we both have to move on! We can't keep having these brief soirées together. What am I saying? Of course we can everyone knows I just can't quit you.

Also, I have two jobs now! I work as a waitress in a greasy spoon diner and as a barista at Starbucks. :D

Probably best known for being the lead singer of a rock band called Faith No More from 1988 to 1998. After leaving Faith No More he formed a band called Mr. Bungle (the greatest band of all time) with which he recorded three (of the best) albums (of all time). After the break-up of Mr. Bungle in 2004 he persued a number of projects and collaborations including Lovage, Peeping Tom, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Tomahawk, and his current band Fantômas. He's creepy, he's a freakin amazing vocalist, and he's kinda sexy. ^.~

YAY! X-Files yesterday was awesome. Alex and I had kick ass costumes as Mulder and Scully. We also don't have a digital camera so you're not allowed to see. XD Maybe when I get the real photos develeoped I'll scan them in. Anyroad...on to the review!

And seeing how the entire movie has been kept pretty darn secret...( many spoilers ahoy! ) Because pretty much anything I say about it is a spoiler. o.O Sad but true.

X-FILES TODAY!!!1

Ten years after Fight the Future. Gah. And I thought I'd been waiting a long time to see Dark Knight. Three years seems like nothin' now. XD

Saw Batman again today. Actually saw it yesterday as well but the film burned...like litteraly melted half way through the movie. Anyway...two observations about seeing it a second time that I would like to share.

Numero uno I will cut because it's not really spoilery at all ( but people are weird. )

Numero deux is not quite as fangirly and mundane. I found watching it the second time I had a lot more time to think about Heath. You will have to pardon my sappy emotional ways. But when Owlex, Kayrar, Caro, and I had a our little memorial for him in early February we kept talking about how in 6 months we were going to see the last movie he's ever going to be in. And now we have and it's just kinda a lot sad. -sigh-

Come back and haunt me, Heath.

YAY! Yesterday was Batman Day. Alex, Kayla, and I stood in line for 12 hours. And we were the very first people in line to see the midnight showing. XD But first things first...

OMFG WATCHMEN TRAILER!!1

Yup, it's a good day to be a fan of Watchmen. Also, new website is up and the first of 12 Watchmen motion comics (available for free on iTunes until August 1). I've watched the trailer 4 times already and I'm so freaking stoked. Also, be sure to check out www.watchmencomicmovie.com for all your Watchmen needs. ^_~

Okay, not I shall talk Batman.

So, as I mentioned earlier, Kayla, Alex, and I showed up at noon for the midnight screening of Batman. Nick and Carolyn showed up around 6 o'clock. Waiting in line was rather epic! We had an in depth discussion on what the difference between a n00b and a newb is, played with rubiks cubes, read lots of batman comics, ate Batman cupcakes and Joker cookies, and Kayla had a 6-hour marathon Watchmen reading session! :D Although, she said she didn't think it was that great. I think that's just 'cause Watchmen requires ones full undivided attention to truly appreciate the megnatude of it's awesome. I could be wrong though. :D What else did we do? Not much, really we just hung out for 12 hours.

We were let in the cinema at around 10:45pm or so. Basically we all RAN into the cinema and quickly discerned the best seats in the house and planted our already sore butts. The last hour seemed to take forever. The anticipation was intense. But then THE FREAKING WATCHMEN TRAILER CAME ON!!!1 Carolyn and I were basically pointing at the screen, whispering excitedly, and thrashing around as discreetly as possible as to not disturb other people. I think Owlex was doing the same, but I couldn't really see her all that well (Caro and Nick were beside me). Although, she says it wasn't "THAT great" so I dunno. o.O

Okay, enough of Watchmen. Batman starts. Everyone in the cinema cheers...
