Welcome to

_iconfusion, my (

madam_rosmerta's) graphics-journal.

_iconfusion is an organized archive of my icons, wallpapers, header graphics, etc. I used to work out of

monaghboyd, but I haven’t updated in ages, and I never really structured it in a user-friendly fashion. I chose to open a new journal, as opposed to restructuring

monaghboyd. I may repost some of the icons on

monaghboyd here, but as some of them are rather sub-par, not all of my past work will resurface. If you feel like using some of my older icons anyway, you’re welcome to do so.

You are entitled to gack whatever you'd like, as long as you adhere to certain rules:

Credit me. Please don't claim my work as your own, I spend a great deal of time creating these and I'd like to be recognised for it. To do so, provide my name - madam_rosmerta or _iconfusion, my personal and icon journal names, will do just fine - in the keywords of your icon. When you upload your icon onto your LiveJournal (or GreatestJournal or DeadJournal, but I don't know if it works the same way for them), it will provide a box for you to enter an icon name. Name the icon whatever you like, but be sure to include my name in there somewhere, if you'd be so kind. Aside from the credit issue, it provides a way for people to know that I'm out there, if they like my work.

Please comment with which icons you took, or with any constructive criticism.

DO NOT HOTLINK. I cannot stress this enough. Please right-click the icon and save it to your computer, then upload it to your own LiveJournal. When you hotlink it eats away at my Photobucket bandwidth, and that means that after a while the only thing that'll show up on these pages are little white boxes with red Xs in them. So...no hotlinking.

Unless I have specifically stated that certain icons are bases, DO NOT ALTER THEM. That means no messing around with text, colours, etc. If I do post bases, you may alter them as you wish, as long as you provide credit for the base.
