God, it's been a lovely day, everything's been going my way

I spent my afternoon with an interesting boy who likes me around, came home and watched a beloved childhood movie that I hadn't seen for years (Terminator 2), and got given new music I desired by the Salamander. And every cup of tea I have made today has tasted divine.

Life is, in a word, good.

Today has shone with it. It helped that the sun decided to help and shine with it all over the place. One would think it wasn't, you know, winter. *shrugs*

Lovely day.

Um can work for plenty of things. "This is my Um House and if you follow me then this is my Um Bedroom and my Er Bed."

Oh hell yes! It's especially great for confusing tourists ;-)

(Hehe... We occasionally host language students from overseas, and one German girl in particular was completely bamboozled that we could have sunshine, rain, hail, sunshine, and rain again all in a single day :-D)

This was an exceptionally good post to see. *hugs* Glad everything's starting to turn around.

And it's nice to know it's not just Ohio with the wacky weather. This place needs some serious straightening out. We're getting rain and thunderstorms everywhere, and then one day we had rain, hail, sunshine for a little bit, and then it went back to raining. I've given up trying to understand Ohio at all, let alone why the people are just plain psycho.

Woo-hoo!! Now I just wish we had alcohol. Or at least something better than Diet Coke with Splenda.
