Character Personality:
Claude is an extremely typical teenage guy really. A lot of his personal development is influenced by the fact that his father, Ronixis, was a renowned hero in the Earth federation and the fact that Claude is an officer in the Earth military. Since Claude has always been in his father's shadow, a lot is expected of him. The thing is that Claude doesn't care and wants to live a very boring uneventful life. He doesn't want responsibilities or be known forever as "The Son of Ronixis". He'd love to escape all of that and create his own individual identity.
Aside from that depressing stuff, Claude is quite social and has a love of being mischievious. He's extremely knowledgable with technology and is good in physical activities (combat included), but he's.. well, stupid when it comes to something like love or knowing when to be sensitive. He's known for being naturally stubborn, sadly, and he can get angry, but it does take a while to push him that far. Claude may not like having responsibilities, as stated before, but if someone's in trouble, he doesn't hesitate to help them. Random people included. >>;
Background History: (modified)
Claude and his father's unit were exploring the ruins on the planet Milocinia. While they're invesigating, Claude runs across an odd device that the other officers warn him not to touch and Claude being the stubborn idiot that he is ignores them. The structure is actually a teleportation device (later we learn that Milocinia was a planet that Nede had destroyed and why that device was there) and Claude is accidently stranded onto the underdeveloped planet, Expel.
When he first arrives there, Claude encounters Rena who is being attacked by a creature and he quickly saves her. Claude doesn't realize that he used his phase gun which means he broke the law of the UP3, but also, Rena believes the light from his gun was actually the Sword of Light. Rena mistakes him for the Hero of Light which is a legendary warrior who is supposed to come and save the people of Expel from the Sorcery Globe. The Sorcery Globe has been causing many disasters on Expel and Rena is hoping Claude is the one who is destined to destroy it. Claude denies that he is the Hero and only asks that he find some way back home.
Claude goes on this journey with Rena who decides to come along and they meet up with the rest of the party. When they reach the Sorcery Globe and learn that the Ten Wise Men from the planet, Nede, are behind everything, Claude and the others are unable to defeat them. Before Expel is destroyed, Claude and the others make it to Nede and learn about everything concerning the Ten Wise Men. While in the final battles, Claude is found for a second time by his father (the first time back at the Globe, Claude refused to return with his father), but this time the Ten Wise Men kill Ronixis and the rest of the crew. At first Claude almost has no will to fight, but in the end stands and continues the on. Soon after Claude and the others defeat the Ten Wise Men and return to a newly-restored Expel.
Unfortunately, as far as Claude is concerned, Claude's father is MIA and basically believed to be dead. Claude still decides to move on for his father's sake and returns to Earth with Rena. After a while, Claude finds out about Ergheiz Educational Institution and decides to continue his college schooling there. He might possibly want to forget and start over newly again.
