Texas Attitudes
I was discussing travel with Matt, who said he'd been to Europe for three months right out of college because his then-girlfriend-now-wife's parents lived in Paris.

Me: Oh, is your wife French?
Matt: No, she's not French, she's Texan.
Me: ...

When I laughed and told him Texas wasn't a country; he laughed too, but disagreed.

Oh Texas.

Wyoming is that way too... but it also seems like that to outsiders because no one knows where Wyoming is. :P

Sorry, Gwen, I think you have to be Texan to understand. :D

And since I apparently got rid of my Texas icon (what was I thinking?!), I'll use my USA one instead. Because I am American, after all. Second after being Texan. ;)
