BioDamn, I hate writing these things.
My name is Kendra Saunders, and I'm Hawkgirl. Yep, I said it. The secret identity police are going to come get me. Well, they're going to have to wait in line.
I'm the second Hawkgirl. My great-aunt Shiera Saunders-Hall was the first Hawkgirl back in the 1940’s. Three years ago, my grandfather started training me to follow in her footsteps. After a rocky first meeting, I joined the Justice Society of America, the team that Shiera was on in the 40’s. They’ve become the family I didn’t know I wanted.
I split my time between New York and the JSA, and living in St Roch with Hawkman. Not living WITH Hawkman. We’re partners. Crime fighting partners. That's it. We both live there and protect the city.
