Today, outside a pro shop, I saw a man in a wheel chair banging a sign into the ground. The sign read, "Cut your handicap in half now!"

The Adventures of the Green Suit

Starring:

The Green Suit

and Pink Tutu

The Green Suit got all sorts of attention at the consignment shop. Visitors threw curious glances, admiring its white anchor buttons, petted the over-sized lapels. A mint, 1970s jumpsuit was a rare find, indeed; yet, no one dared to take it home, or even to the fitting room.

Transission Magazione - The Narrow Bed
Hey everyone. This was an image produce in responce to an article in a magazine.

The Article was a short story about a man who has moved to barcalona. He enjoys the quietness of his new surrounding and is glad that he has replaced his old life in the Army with a new life of peace and serenity.

SCAD
Bleh, Joel is sick and workan on homework...  Hooray.

Its been a bit of a slow week, and I'm glad to be seeing its end.  Things have been rather tiresome with my sickness rolling around, but it bounces back and forth between good and bad, so I'm not miserable all of the time.  Its a mix of a cold and strep throat, with a headache along with it. -_- Bothersome to say the least...

I saw a movie this week, called Flow.  It was a look on our use of water and how we're are basically raping the earth in some other way.  This time, if you purchase bottled water, you are killing Africans as well as spending money on a resource that should be free.  It wasn't much of an eye-opener, but it put things into perspective.  Coke happens to be killing the earth as well.  It seems none of the companies associated with ANY beverage are helping...

I'm looking forward to my birthday, as I'm seeing Quarantine with my friends!  I hope I feel better by then, but fuck it, I'll still go...

Japan C Exhibit: the best of Japanese packaging

'The ball'

A new exhibit opened in NYC: a collection of Japanese Packaging. I went with my friend Glendy and her boyfriend, to be joined by miss Gilda afterwards. One of the reasons I went was because I love Japan. The other was to wear the Green Janitor Suit, but that deserves a separate post. For now, here are some pictures from the exhibit.

Night of the Widgit
Hey everyone. so this is pretty rad, Hurley put together a widgit that is like a mini store for my myspace page where you can purchase any of the "Night Of The Treeple" shirts DIRECTLY FROM MY PROFILE!

its cool because it keeps a constant count of whats available so if something is not available in a certain size or whatever, it just wont show it. as of right now, everything is available.

Unfortunately, there are no womens cuts available right now. When we were developing the line, there was some hesitation that girls would be into some of the graphics, so if you want to still see some of these in girls cuts, you should send Hurley some support and love and suggestions here!!!

in the meantime, check out the little widgit thing here or on my profile page and get to shoppinnnnnnnn. they ship worldwide.

oh, the other little cool thing about this widgit is that you can embed it on your profile or your other blogs or facebooks or anywhere else that allow you to embed it, which would be rad cuz I need all the help i can get to assure that this "Cinematic Apparel Line" is able to continue, because, after all, wouldnt you like to see more shirts based on fake cheesy movies??? Imagine some shirts based on a zombie romantic comedy, or a Killer Car movie?!

anyway, thanks for your continued support. you are my wonder bra.

love,
alex

Little 5 CHalk art by +1
I've had most of this week off and spent a lot of time in front of Holy Mother Tattoo. I'm probably going back tommorow. I've been taking the hat and busking, made 20 bucks over 2 days so I'm not complaining, that's enough for a slice and a drink at Little 5 Pizza around the corner.

So here are the pics, one public, the rest behind the cut. There are a lot.

This is something I just love drawing, I call them face collages and I've been drawing strange interconnecting heads for as long as I've been drawing.

The rest lay within )

Hello guys and girls!

Here's more strangeness from me :) Please enjoy!
And if you like it, please feed me some cookies comments (preferably at DA). Thank you :)

Did you ever wondered whether the world changes if you keep your eyes for too long?

Yes, she's got cucumber slices on her eyes. Which is why I shall name her Kyuri. This is a story about a black girl with a Japanese name.

There's a definite beauty to the beach and a comfort in telling of that beauty. For what can be said about it, that has not been said already? Each word you whisper to its azure peaks, its waves echo back, and you hear the phrase in another, roaring, voice. It is then that you realize that, yes, you are not alone. There really is beauty in the world, and everyone knows it.
The ripples of the ocean finish their climb and breath to your ear, as the first spray hits your cheek, "Welcome to Life," and you are quickly, kindly embraced in the ocean's cold baptism.
-

also, this is a great line I just wrote:
"I hoped you would like it. I hoped you would feel wet inside, damp with the fresh dew of pleasure."

Ah, crap. Just so you know, that is decidedly non-sexual.
