I can wear sweaters!
I can sit outside and read!
Basking in the sun. Delighting in the chill in the wind.
Even my cat, the one who usually stays indoors, is venturing outside to enjoy this weather.

Windy wind blowing my mess-hair.

I love October.

Jesse invited me to a barbeque. I brought smart dogs to so I could eat. Donovan came, too! After the barbeque we finished the first season of Heroes.

Donovan smiles the best, most contageous smiles.

I love steampunk everything. I wish I had an airship.

Jack White is brilliant.
I could stay a while
But sooner or later I'll break your smile
And I can tell a joke
But one of these days I'm bound to choke
And we could share a kiss
But I feel like I can't go through with this
And I bet we could build a home
But I know the right thing for me to do
Is to leave you alone

I can wear my hair up now! Also, I have lost ten pounds. Hell yes. I notice it all over. I'm especially glad my face isn't nearly so chubby as it was. Ten pounds ago:

And, now:

(yeah, I need to stop tearing my lips up)

Here are two of my silly dogs and a horse.

Oreo and Avery fascinated by mice?

Avery V. Prince

Also, anyone considering seeing the movie Quarantine should first see the movie REC. Quarantine is a remake of the Spanish movie REC, and I guarantee the original is better. It's brilliant and beautiful and it escalates to one of the most intense ending scenes I've seen in all my years of horror fandom. I won't know until I see it, but it looks like Hollywood has had its way with Quarantine and stripped the film of the subtlety that made REC so perfect.

The fair!

I went to the North Georgia State Fair with Donovan, Jesse, Darcy, and Lenny.

Before meeting up with everyone for the fair, I had no where to go for some hours and I was stuck on towne lake, so I hung out with Anthony for a bit and helped him paint his basement. It was fun.

Thennnn Jesse picked me up and we went on a short journey to take Anthony to find some gas (his car was so empty that after he picked me up it failed twice and then we had to roll to his house). Anthony saw a gas station that wasn't empty, lept out of the car, and ran across the road carrying a gas can. It was a pretty comical sight.

We finally made our way over to meet up with Donovan, and then we headed out to the fair. It was tons of fun! There was a miniature acrophobia style free fall drop ride which I dragged a terrified Donovan onto; his frightened face was adorable. Jesse and I were the only fearless people in our little group. One ride (which Darcy skipped out on) left us upside down for lots of seconds and it felt so awkwardly hilarious to be upside down for too-long, especially with Lenny free styling behind me. We rode TWO ferris wheels and that was nice. The haunted house was ridiculous. "Is that...SATAN?!"

I petted some animals on their heads. Baby cows and goats. There was a zebra and a camel. It mostly made me sad.

I saw a collection of three equally very short and very fat women clad in matching skirts.

I love rides. I'm craving roller coasters. I can't wait to go to Six Flags.

Find Jesse.

There is a train coming

I was going to go to the North Georgia State Fair but we realized that tomorrow it's just a 15 dollar cover charge with unlimited rides rather than five dollars to get in plus one dollar per ticket. So tomorrow it is!

Instead, we went to a park and took a miniature hike alongside a river to some railroad tracks which cross the river, high-up railroad-bridge style. It was fun and a bit exhilarating to be out on the tracks up above the river. I love heights.

=)

River

Lenny and Donovan and I sat on the edge of the tracks.

The tracks got us dirty.

Jesse collected rocks to throw.

Lenny stood between the tracks.

He thinks he looks weird here oh well.

It was fun. I didn't get a good picture of the height of the bridge, but falling would have meant death.

We came back to Jesse's for Heroes. Tomorrow is the fair for real.

Donovan took me home and we both managed to get scared outside in the dark (my fault). I heard a noise when I was walking up to my house so I ran inside and quickly turned on the lights. Now my dogs won't stop barking at invisible things, which certainly doesn't help my uneasiness.

I'm a sleepy girl. Time for bed.

Donovan took me out to eat and then to see Burn After Reading. Burn After Reading is pure genius. I love the Coen brothers.

We came back to my place and stayed up too late. I adore him. Our relationship is a crazy experience for me because it only gets better and better instead of worse and worse. I had no idea I could be so lastingly comfortable and happy with a person. I didn't know I had it in me. And I certainly didn't know there was someone out there so good for me. My relationship with Jason was healthy for mere months out of the years it spanned, and this experience with Donovan, nearly ten months in, is still new and exciting and wonderful. I am amazed anew with every day I spend with him. I'm a happy girl.

This morning I woke up early to go to Atlanta with Maribeth. I left a sleeping Donovan behind in my bed. Then Maribeth and I were off to SCAD, where I talked to an admission counselor and learned about college for the first time ever. Over a year after I graduated from high school, I'm taking my first baby step toward my future. I'm more than ready and more than excited, if a bit nervous (okay, more than a bit). Joel showed us around the school and it feels like it's the right place for me.

After SCAD touring, I managed to navigate us around Atlanta (I used to frequent the city often, but not so much any more). We ate at Little Five Pizza and sat in traffic caused by a Georgia Tech game, mostly.

Donovan did not want me taking pictures of his naked face.

I can't stop staring at this picture because he is so prettyyy.

Sleepy boy.

Here I am as a weird looking girl with her friend the horse, Prince.

The news

Welp Donovan shaved his beard which contained magical powers and transformed him into a hot guy so I guess I'm leaving him now it's gone.

I've been working out every day for almost two weeks and I feel great. I'm proud of myself.

I've been dabbling with some art a little bit here and there (Vincent Valentine and an alien baby). Proud of myself for that, too.

Been rolling around in the grass outside with my dogs during the little bouts of nice weather. Touching horses on their noses, pulling up grass and feeding them (they'd swear the grass on my side of the fence tastes so much better).

Dreaming dreams slightly on the nightmarish side: I forget to work out for days, Donovan is an ass hole, I am trapped in a bad dreamland and can never wake up, etc.

Tomorrow I'll see my beardless boyfriend. His naked face. What will it be like. Good thing I like him so much. You're safe, Donovan.

AUTUMN

Today it was not hot outside! It feels like fall! It is beautiful.

I went out with Maribeth to enjoy the day/look at fabric and patterns for her costume.

I'd like to add to my Halloween collection. I've seen some really nice things this year. So many beautiful cups and plates and silly toys. And I can never have enough Halloween clothing. It's probably a good thing I'm broke or I'd be spending all my money on these things.

We went to Harry's and shared a dilicious stuffed portobello mushroom. We also got some vegan mock chicken salad, but it felt, smelled and tasted exactly like real chicken and it made me want to puke. We returned it. "Fake chicken not fake enough."

The weatherrrrrrr. Next month is my favorite month. And fall and winter! How exciting.

I love Hiro

Yesterday we almost had TWO new cars. A Jetta for mom/Nanner and a Cabrio for me. But it all came crashing down. We may still be able to figure something out, but I'm not really sure. Bleh.

After all the cars stuff I came home and immediately passed out on my bed (I had gotten just a few hours of sleep). Donovan's phone call woke me up. This is when I learned that the car situation which previously seemed promising was probably not going to work.

Donovan came over and I showed him my new bed but he was more impressed by my clean room. I think everything about Donovan or involving Donovan is wonderful and/or adorable and/or beautiful. I read his resume and said, "aaawwwwww." In response to this, he said, "you are retardedly in love with me," and it's true.

Jesse, Darcy, and Lenny showed up and we watched Heroes. After five (I think) episodes they left. Donovan and I retired to my room and I think the only time I sleep well is post-sex, when we just collapse together and shut our eyes and fall asleep. Too bad he had to wake up and go home =(

I walked outside with him to say good bye (and deal with the gate). This only took a few minutes. When I got back inside a lamp was knocked down, light bulb pieces strewn across the floor. With a broom I cleaned up the little pieces of glass. I wrote a "be careful! There may still be glass!" note to my parents, then ran into my room and called Donovan and asked him to make me feel safe, because I was scared. I mean, what if something invisible and mean knocked the lamp down?!

Tomorrow I am going to look at two Cabrios and a Jetta! Maybe something awesome will happen. Maybe I will finally have a carrr again. Yesterday I stopped and looked at a beautiful GLI. One of the prettiest cars ever. Someone give me 24 grand so I can get myself a new one? Volkswagen is the best, ever.

Also tomorrow Donovan, Jesse, Darcy and I are having another Heroes night.

Aahh. I wish I wasn't so bad about getting my hopes up about things.

My new bed rules. I'm going to go on a cleaning spree now.

I haven't had bangs since I was and tiny little child.

I also got a new bed today. Sleeping in my old bed was equivalent to sleeping in a bed of gravel. My new bed is awesome. I might even take a nap!

I had a meat nightmare

In a dream I was shopping with Donovan and Nanner. We bought ingredients for a big awesome dinner that I was going to cook. We were driving my mom's Suburban. As we were leaving the grocery store and driving through the strip mall, Donovan suggested we go pick up something to eat. I was immediately offended because I had been planning to cook this dinner and we'd just bought all this food, but I held my tongue.

We got inside the restaurant and I couldn't keep my mouth shut any more. "We just bought all this food and I was going to cook us this awesome dinner. Maybe we shouldn't be here at all! No need to spend the extra money, I'm cooking." Donovan agreed with me but made no motion to leave.

He and Nanner suddenly had food in front of them. Donovan had a plate of ribs which looked more like just a big hunk of nearly uncooked meat. Nanner's food looked much the same, even though she was agreeing with me that she'd never eat something like that and saying she couldn't understand how anyone could eat that. Donovan began eating obnoxiously, making unnecessary sounds and creating a mess. Nanner just picked away at her slab of meat. Eventually I couldn't take it any more. I said, "I'll be in the car," and left.

I sat in the drivers seat of the Suburban. I realized the e-break wasn't on and it immediately rolled backwards down the incline on which it was parked. Next the parking lot was a dark back alley, still with the restaurant at the far end of it, but now with creepy little shops on either side of the narrow road. A couple came out of the restaurant and walked along a boardwalk which was perched a bit above the alley's street. I heard the woman say, "let's check out Chicken Joe's sometime."

As if on cue, a man came running out of the tiny Chicken Joe's shop, strangling a screaming, naked chicken in one hand, and wielding a tiny ax in the other. I got out of the car and started screaming, "No! Please don't do that! How can you do that? How can you do that?!" But he just took the tiny ax to the little chicken's head.

Next my dream became a documentary about chickens. It cataloged all different kinds of beautiful chickens, some of them dreams-only chickens my brain created.

After the documentary I was still in the alley but it wasn't dark any more. Donovan and Nanner emerged from the restaurant. Donovan was immediately laughing and poking fun at me because I had to leave the table. At this point I started sobbing uncontrollably and I was so furious with him for being so inconsiderate and just downright mean.

He finally came to his senses and stopped being the biggest jerk and I told him about Chicken Joe's and that awful man. Donovan held me and I cried and cried and then I told him what an ass he was for forgoing my dinner for that nasty restaurant and for laughing at me and for making fun of me and then I cried some more.

It was not a fun dream =/

Poor baby toe

Well last night I broke Donovan's toe.

Yesterday I went to look at a Cabrio with my mom. Doesn't look like I'll be getting it, but I'm glad the search for a car has finally started. I need a job ASAP so I can afford insurance and car payments. Aah!

Most of the usual crew went skating last night (donovanjessedarcylennyjoeljustin). We also got a game of laser tag. Donovan and I requested the SPACE JAM song (best song ever), but right after it started playing they called for our game of laser tag.

In the dark laser tag room Donovan and I were pushing each other around while shooting each other. He tried to get away and I shoved him. I didn't know there was a wall right in front of him; I didn't see it. I ran off. Later I found him sitting down and he said, "I think you broke my toe." I feel so bad! He continued playing anyway because he's a bad ass. The game involved dancing, lots of murder, and a guy who works there sniping everyone and kicking our asses.

Outside of the laser tag room, Donovan removed his sock to reveal his swelling little toe and its blue toenail. Ouch!

After skating some of us went back to Jesse's for Heroes. Donovan's toe kept looking worse and worse. Purple and blue and red =/ We watched some episodes of Heroes, then went to Wal-Mart and picked up some pizzas. I cooked the pizzas, and we watched another episode. Maybe two more episodes.

We accidentally didn't leave until it was almost two. Donovan took me home. We got back to my place and...Donovan is fantastic. My favorite.

Today he is limping around at school with his poor broken toe and I feel like a huge jerk. I am evil =(

Yesterday I skated in the Park with Maribeth again. Then she and I went out to eat with Joel and Lenny. Then Maribeth, Lenny, Nanner, my mom, and I used the ouija board at my place. It was crazy again, but also awesome.

Today I hung out with Maribeth.

I walked three miles with walkaerobics. I'm going to start doing the walks daily, or close to daily. That plus skating and (more frequent) biking and I'll be set.

Tomorrow is my mommy's birthday! As soon as she goes to sleep I'm going to make her a card.

days

The other day I went to the library with Maribeth. We mostly drooled over a cookbook and the Veganomicon.

Next we went skating in a park near my house! It's a nice flat recreational area with paved paths which people walk, bike, and roller blade on. I was happy to find that skating on it wasn't too much different than skating on the floor of a roller rink, and I felt almost equally comfortable outdoors as I do indoors. I'm glad there's a place nearby where I can practice skating for free!

Next Joel picked us up and we headed over to Towne Lake to meet up with Lenny and Anthony. We had a Rockband night which was pretty darn fun. I even played on the medium difficulty level without failing! I'm movin' on up. After Rockband we headed out for some food and then went our separate ways.

Joel carried Anthony, Maribeth and I back to my place. Maribeth went home after not too long. Anthony stayed here for the night. We didn't sleep, just watched TV, talked, walked around, and played Devil May Cry 4. I ended up falling asleep for two or three hours and waking up at noon.

Around 3:30 Dad and I took Anthony home, and Dad dropped me off at Joel's where I met up with Joel and Lenny. We walked around in some woods behind Joel's house and then met Jesse in a park to brainstorm for a super secret hush hush project.

We parted ways with Jesse so that Lenny, Joel and I could play with the Ouija board. We came back to Joel's place, set up in his basement, and "played." We were not expecting what happened. All I can say is I felt so odd and the experience was intense and exhilarating and scary and exciting. Not a bad experience, just crazy.

Lenny drove me home and we just kept freaking each other out the whole way. We both felt like we might puke.

Now it's four in the morning and I'm still going on 2-3 hours of sleep and I've got all the lights in the house on and I'm nervous about going to sleep. I know when I finally crash I'll probably be out for 20 hours with the way I've been sleeping for such long stretches lately. Not looking forward to that.

It's been a good couple of days. My mom's birthday is Sunday. Monday is a laser tag show down.

I might have a car again soon??
Hopefully a job to go with it??
A life?!

WHY DO I KEEP SLEEPING FOR 10-12 HOURS STRAIGHT??

This has never happened to me before. Not like this anyway. There have been sad times when I couldn't make myself get out of bed, but I've never just been so sleepy I sleep for ELEVEN HOURS.
motorcycle

Today I went out on the motorcycle with my dad. We ended up riding for a long time and finding this awesome road that took us into Tate, Georgia. Lots of dilapidated buildings and houseless chimneys to look at, as well as the gorgeous mountains and expansive fields. We also saw a mama deer running along with her baby. Really enjoyable ride. I love the freedom that comes with being on the back of a bike.

Joel made a survey about the paranormal

1. Do Grey's scare you?
They are cute!

2. Do you believe demons can be summoned?
Um. No.

3. Do you believe in conspiracy theories?
I love them! I find a lot of them really interesting. Dunno how many I really believe, though.

4. Do you believe Satan is real?
Nope.

5. Do you believe in Magick?
Nah.

6. Do you believe in shadow people?
UGH I saw one out here one night. I was driving home, and I saw the shadow of a hooded figure walking quickly along cast BY MY HEADLIGHTS onto a fence. I looked, but there was no person to go with the shadow. Joel saw one out here too!

7. Is there a portal to an alternate dimension?
It would be pretty neat if there was!

8. Do you believe there's life after death?
Nope.

9. Does the government communicate with aliens?
I don't necessarily think they're buddies with ET or anything, but I wouldn't be shocked to find out they were withholding information about aliens.

10. What was your most recent paranormal/scary experience?
I'll go with the shadow person. After I determined there was no one around to be making the shadow, I bolted home and ran inside, locked the door behind me and screamed, "THERE IS A SHADOW MONSTER OUT THERE!"

11. Believe in Bigfoot?
I wish he was real.

12. Loch ness?
If there's not a Nessie in the Loch, I'm sure there's some equally awesome undiscovered creature lurking in some other body of water.

13. Have you been abducted?
I sure haven't.

14. Seen a Ghost?
I guess I've seen what can only be defined as a ghost. There was something off about my old house and some times I saw some crazy things.

15. Believe in Reptilians?
Haha nope.

16. Do you like Screamers?
Joel informs me that "screamers" are those videos that pretend to be car commercials or "find what's wrong" games and then a face pops out and screams at you and scares you. These things have managed to fool me once or twice and make me jump. Usually they don't get me, though.

17. Favorite paranormal entity?
Vampires? Aliens? Ghosts? I love them all.

18. End of the world is 2012?
Honestly, I don't really care if it happens or not.

19. Way you wish the world to end?
Zombies! Or some other way that at least some people can survive. Give humanity a clean slate.

20. Zombies: Walking or running?
Walking. It's gotta be near impossible to run if you're affected by rigor mortis. Walking zombies are the only kind that make sense! And the only kind we have a chance against...

21. Favorite work based on something paranormal?
Clive Barker's works.

22. Vampires: Real or Not?
I wish wish wish they were real!

23. Would you explore the woods alone?
I have before. Well, me and my dogs.

24. Favorite Paranormal themed artist?
Oh, I dunno. I'm quite fond of Giger's aliens.

25. Favorite Video Game paranormal character?
Pyramid Head from Silent Hill =)

26. Pyramid Head: Scary or not?
Oh and he's the next question! He's also the scariest mother fucker around!

27. Have you ever been to a haunted location?
My old house? Old old abandoned houses in the woods across the street from my old house? But the only place I've been that's known for being haunted is Charlseton, South Carolina.

28. Do you Lucid Dream?
Yes! It's awesome. Usually I just sit back and watch though.

29. Do you dream often?
Every night. I always remember my dreams when I first wake up, but some fade from my memory more quickly than others. I try to write the best ones down.

30. What do you dream of?
ALIEN SPIKE SPERM. My dreams are generally haunting, terrifying, gruesome, shocking, creepy, and all-in-all just fucked up. I like them though.

31. Ever go looking for Ghosts?
I used to when I was a kid.

32. Ever been raped/fucked by a Ghost?
Haha no but that could be cool maybe?

33. 666 mean anything to you?
HAIL SATAN

34. Believe in the anti-Christ?
No.

35. Believe in God?
No.

36. Was Jesus a prophet?
Well, I mean, yes. He did gather a following and people still follow him and his teachings to this day.

37. Best Creepy Music?
Hmm. Throbbing Gristle? Nurse with Wound? Silent Hill music?

38. Sounds that just scare you?
I dunno. Footsteps when no one should be around me walking?

39. What would you do if you were abducted?
BRAG

40. Scariest show as a kid?
hahaha. My favorite movies included Night of the Living Dead, and The Thing. I didn't get scared of those or any TV shows. I've always loved horror movies but I've never been scared by one.

41. Would you accept a hive-mind takeover?
Of course not!

42. Favorite movie with aliens?
Alien! Star Wars. E.T..

43. Favorite movie with Monsters?
There are so many! The best monster movie? I'll go with the original Frankenstein.

44. Last brick shitting film you saw...
I'll go with REC. That last scene was creepy as hell I loved it.

45. Is telepathy possible.
I hope so!

46. Earliest Paranormal Experience?
I was very young. I remember hearing a disembodied voice speak some words while I was down in the basement with my father.

47. Scariest Serial Killer?
Albert Fish is of course terrifying and I think he easily deserves that title over all. To me personally, though, Ted Bundy. Thanks to him I will never help out a stranger, ever. Edmund Kemper is pretty scary, too. Actually, maybe David Parker Ray is the scariest of all. He did some of the most horrible things I can imagine...

48. Halloween, best holiday, or worst?
BEST EVER.

49. Succubus', real or not?
A ghost that rapes people?! No.

50. Do you like to be scared?
I love it! It's one of my favorite feelings! But usually only in hindsight =)
Today Donovan came over and we tried to kill each other with our fists and then pillows.

After that we went to a park and walked around and climbed little grassy hills.

Next we saw the Star Wars movie. It was pretty much exactly what we expected. Maybe slightly better.

We came back here and played Ico. That game is amazing/beautiful/the bomb. I think we may be Ico and Yorda for Halloween!

When Donovan was leaving he noticed the light in the bunkhouse was on, so he called me to let me know. I asked him to turn if off, but he hesitated.
"Do you need me to come down there with you?"
"Yes." So I did.
He's a pansy; it was cuuute.

My boyfriend is the best =)

Today I tried to explore the giant hole in the earth/gorge/rock quary that can be found along McCollum Parkway with Joel. We mostly failed at exploring. ONE DAY WE'LL SEE THE BOTTOM OF IT. I KNOW THERE'S A SPACE SHIP DOWN THERE.

Next we met up with Jesse and Justin and Lenny and went roller skating. The skating rink had a LATE NIGHT COSMIC PARTY. Girls ages 11-17 were allowed to get in free with a coupon. While standing in line, a woman went ahead and gave me the paper bracelet pass to get in. Woo free skating!

We skated for a bit and I love skating so much. It rules. We also played laser tag which is so much fun. There were a bunch of little kids in there and it was fun to play with them. There was also a couple making out the whole time and it was fun to shoot them. I mean, you have to execute people who pay five dollars just to make out, right? I came in second place! 8400 points. I rule!

We came back to Joel's and played rock band. That game is so much fun. Justin CANNOT sing.

Tomorrow I have plans with Donovan I think?
