I am now in love with chocolate Silk.
My mom said, "that's worm juice, you know!" (silk worms--get it? haha). My mom wins.

Anyway, I'm trying to slowly wean myself off of more animal products, like milk. I mean, I hate milk. I only like chocolate milk, and even then I only like it if it tastes nothing like milk. So chocolate Silk is perfect to me. I'm also quitting things like caesar dressing (it's made with anchovies! Ew!) and even ramen noodles (if they contain animal fat, I'm not sure yet if all flavors do). I don't know when I'll be able to quit cheese and yogurt though. I love them so much! One day.

Today I went to the library and it failed me. It didn't have the books I needed.

Tonight Maribeth and I ventured to Kroger, and walked away with free cream soda. She gave me a bottle. Cream soda is one of the only sodas I'll still drink. I haven't really been a soda drinker for years. But from time to time I can't resist cream soda.

Why is my brain obsessed with food-things right now?

Okay, oops. It's 2:20 in the morning. Sleep? I hope.

In Nanner's yearbook is THIS FUCKING SURVEY STUDENTS TOOK: "Which celebrity would you want to spend a night in jail with?" Okay first of all that in itself is ridiculous. I mean. What the hell?! Why ask students that? But the options: Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, MICHAEL VICK. They showed the percentages (I can't remember which received the most votes), and they actually quoted a kid saying "I'd choose Michal Vick because he's an amazing athlete and he could give me advice" or something like that. What an idiot! And why not also survey the students about why they're in jail with a dog murderer. Not to mention with Paris or Nicole who both have displayed less than admirable behavior. Why endorse the idolization of these horrible people? Why make it like the fact that these people are in jail is just trivial? They're in jail for a reason. "Hello, students. Which one of these shitty people do you like best?!" is essentially what it is. I don't understand what place that has in a yearbook.
