I finished reading
The Master and Margarita about a week ago, but this is the first chance I've had to actually say anything about it. I'm still not sure exactly what I think of it, and this is bound to come out as more of a barely coherent stream of ramblings than an actual discussion of the novel, but I'll give it a shot anyway.
( Warning: Spoilers for The Master and Margarita, and also for Goethe's Faust and Stephen King's Needful Things. )So, anyway, if anybody has any insights, or just wants to chat about the book, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
