I think I might have a mild case of adhd today
Apr. 8th, 2008 | 09:20 pm
Today I've mostly been reading House/Wilson fanfic instead of working on my airport project. What is up with that? Just when I started to consider fandom a phenomenon beneath me. If I don't get my degree you will know why.
Obviously I am kidding. I would never be deluded enough to think I've moved beyond fandom. I was doomed from the day daytime tv first introduced me to Star trek and the first real OTP in history.
In other news, me and Boon have now been an item for over 2 years, I've permed my hair like a crazy 80s poodle, my knee still hurts but I keep postponing my follow-up with the orthopaediatrician, I finished all my past courses so that I could apply for my bachelor's in time (which I am now on my way of screwing up because I.can.not.focus.at.all), I've started to drink a lot of water which makes me feel awesome since I am usually quite dehydrated but which also makes me have to pee all the time, I am generally rarely pleased with my life....
....AND....
...me and Felicia will be selling off a humongous amount of our old clothes, records and mags and more neat things than you could ever imagine at Ichiban Japan-expo the 25th-27th this month. If by any rare chance someone reads this who might be interested in going to cons, come buy our stuff!

Oh snap! Why won't this cocking knee behave!?
Mar. 10th, 2008 | 08:43 am
I had the best weekend, it was really truly the greatest. And then my knee snapped Saturday night when dancing. Those who know me know my knee caps and their frustrating habit of relocating themselves in odd places. Usually I can get them back to place quite easily myself but this time they just wouldn't behave and it took some morphine, laughing gas and muscle relaxers before the ambulance workers got it back to place. What a party-pooper! After that everything got much better pretty fast, though. Until the morning after when the morphine was about to leave my body and left me really nauseous throwing up all over the place.
So now, suddenly I'm immobile and I can't get home from Norrköping and I most definitely can't get myself to school, which is incredibly annoyingly stressful. BUT: no fracture this time (I had one on that same knee before) and like I said It's getting a lot better really fast though, and I'm pretty sure I can go to Paris on Friday as planned.

Today. Tomorrow. For life.
Oh and I passed the detail-plan course. And here I was beginning to think that passing courses was something that happened only to other people. woopiewoo. Now time for the grad course, which is an airport. At Hall, as it were. Ever been to a really nifty airport? Talk about it here and give me conceptual ideas! :P

something about the Zagreb E.C
Jan. 27th, 2008 | 05:05 pm

Stéphane Lambiel, you gorgeous little swiss you! Even if you never win the European championships you're still the best skater in the world.
Did anyone else just see the show? Rather bleh, except for S.L obviously. I really really like it when skaters take the show seriously and makes it into real art. Like Lambiel always does. Like Plushenko always did. Like when the latter performed with Edvin Marton playing on his strad. violin live on the ice. Magic. I guess Lambiel didn't quite reach that level but if you don't happen to be friends with the best violin player in the world, this was pretty much as good as it gets. Kind of embarrassing for the (too large) bunch of skaters with poorly choreographed programs to even worse music (usually something like Bryan Adams "Everything I do")
Although I do like skating as a sport, I love it even more as an art form.

actually, I kind of feel like stealing something for real just to put the punishment into proportion
Jan. 22nd, 2008 | 11:48 pm
Today I got banned from the school computer lab for 3 months because I got caught stealing borrowing a computer mouse. Really fucking great. It was wrong of me and all but 3 months seems a little overkill for borrowing a lousy pc mouse. (okay, maybe I really had stolen it like 2 months ago, but for all he knew I might have just borrowed it for half an hour, which was what I claimed. Plus, everybody is doing it. :P )
Also realized I forgot my camera at fjonkans place and I won't be seeing her for 2 weeks since I'm going to my parents place next weekend for my fathers birthday. I always forget something. At least this time, it wasn't my wallet or my phone. But you won't be seeing any more model photos for awhile.
Besides from that, today has been a rather agreeable day. Went grocery shopping. I'm doing more cooking at home these days, and I think my food confidence is slowly growing a little.
I want to go to Paris. Or maybe I just feel like having a glass of wine. Easily confused and mixed up, those two.

Inexpensive model building part 2
Jan. 17th, 2008 | 08:37 pm
All right! I didn't have time to build anything yesterday because of lectures and stuff, but today I'm back on track. So where was I?

BEWARE! School stuff under cuts.
In today's edition:
Coming up in the next edition: Tomorrow we have lectures but I will probably have time to work a little with the model as well. Your heroine will be buying the only kind of glue worth using and might just add some surrounding buildings to the scene. OH THE EXCITEMENT!
And now to something completely different:

This Sunday was an extraordinary fine day. We decided to go for a walk which ended up taking around 4 hours.

Last weekend and Zefron oh my!
Nov. 19th, 2007 | 08:19 pm
Changed my blog description to party blog, because that is what it always was and always will be...
..And you guys you guys, even though I don't update much, we still do party hard. And even though our food blog faded out of memory before it even started, we still eat lobster and drink champagne during weekends (and whatever we can find in the weekdays) . This is the post to prove it.

Almost naked.
Zac Efron is so adorable. We want to adopt him and take him to Disney land every weekend.
Except everything with Zefron, this is my favorite part of the film.
over and out.

( my baby feeds me )

( party time )
THIS weekend, on the other hand, we spent all inside, watching movies and cuddling. And not just any movie. Channel 5 showed the very very good taste of broadcasting BOTH High School Musical 1 and 2 this Saturday. We watched. Zac Efron is so adorable. We want to adopt him and take him to Disney land every weekend.

The taste of candy
Oct. 28th, 2007 | 10:28 pm
Last weekend was my 23rd birthday, which will always be remembered as the day Dumbledore came out of the closet. Much fun.
This weekend, however, was seriously the best EVER. Right from the first second we were in such a good mood. This was the weekend of laughter, t-shirt making and poster-framing. The weekend of GLAM ROCK, laughter, Fat-Marc Bolan jokes and Bowie bashing. The weekend of record store hunting, city exploration, laughter and much cuddling. The weekend we threw away cheese because we couldn't handle its explosive taste, unpretentious but good food (for a change) and much drunkness at Lunacy. Oh, and laughter.
Yes we went to Lunacy.
No it wasn't planned. We just sat at home Friday night and had some wine and cheese as usual and came up with the idea of going out. Like a joke, only we actually did it. Wearing jeans (me), long johns (boon) and t-shirts. And it turned out to be one of the best nights out ever. In all its simplicity. I didn't take any pictures but boonie did so I think you can expect to see som old friends and some freaks over at her journal soon.
Anyho we looked something like this:

I must write a bit about the t-shirt making. We thrifted 8 cheap shirts at myrorna and the we made FANDOM T-SHIRTS out of all of them. I will post some photos now, in the order we made them and I think you'll be able to see some progress.

being sick and showing off my westwood swatch
Sep. 17th, 2007 | 11:20 am
I am positively sick today. I had some doubts at first, thinking that maybe it was just my body partnering up with my brain to make up an excuse for being too lazy to get out of bed in time, but I really really do feel like shit and my tummy aches in a weird way. Probably a minor food poisoning. I think it will pass rather quickly though, or at least I hope so, since it mostly feels like my body is upset in all different kinds of directions and it just needs some time to calm down.
So school can go fuck itself.
Or rather, I'll do some studying and reading in bed at home.
While I'm out here: I bought a watch some time ago at the swedish net-auction site Tradera.

It's a swatch skin by V.Westwood. Because I enjoy being obvious, because it was really cheap compared to what I've seen it cost over at ebay and such, because it's not too in-you-face to wear every day but at the same time got some attitude and because it, being a Skin-model, is very light and flat.
It's all about changing self-image. I very much enjoy thinking of myself as a person who wears a wrist watch. I never have before. That's why I put it on even now that I'm just hanging around at home feeling miserable and throwing up every now and then.
The small joys of life =)

djur vi runkar till

A little while ago me and boonie went to Kolmården zoo and of course I never got around to post any pictures. We had sooo much fun, mainly because we're insanely impressed by stuff like this, almost to the point of it being ridiculous. Last year we went with a bunch of people to Skansen, another zoo, and we totally couldn't control ourselves because of all the awe. This was similar, only Kolmården is much bigger. It would have been even more fun if more people had come along but we just did this out of pure impulse so we never had the chance to ask anyone.

The amount of childish fun we had!

school's back
Aug. 29th, 2007 | 10:38 pm
School started again today. Woo! This year is gonna be swell, I hope.
I actually do think I've made some progress since 2nd grade and that I will be able to cope better with everything. Only time will tell.
First thing we got a quick but not all that small assignment to finish before the day after tomorrow so I will have to turn the efficiency up a notch tomorrow. I'd like to keep my evenings and nights free this semester, thankyouverymuch.
Man, I can't believe this day next year Michael will turn 50. Happy 49th you bad boy you! New icon to celebrate the occasion.

wanted: webcomics
Jun. 22nd, 2007 | 10:31 pm
One of my favorite pastimes is reading webcomics. I've found it's a good way to relax and to let your brain go for awhile. The problem with webcomics is that, once you've read through the archives, you have to wait several days between updates. Which makes you have to discover new ones. Thus, you end up with a dozen or so webcomics that you have to check for updates all the time. Very frustrating.
So, which are your favorite webcomics? I need suggestions!
Here are mine, at the moment (some obvious, some less so I think):
Personally I want comics to be smart and witty, but not too smart and witty, since I read webcomics as a way of complete relaxation. The only exception to that is dinosaur comics, which I read daily (but they are more retarded-smart than pure intellectual anyway.
Somehow, SoreThumbs hits the spot for me. So does, but to a lesser degree, WickedPowered by the same author and artist, and the same goes for last blood, by the same artist and the brother to the writer of the previously mentioned comics.
A completely different one is the autobiographical comic of Liliane, bi-dyke, sometimes it is funny, and when it's not it is true.
I like diesel sweeties. And Saturday morning breakfast cereal. And then I read a big bunch of crap. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm not a comic geek. I don't have too high standards. I just want some tips on what to read when I want to take my mind off of irl.
plz?
