I feel happy...
Ah, haven't posted in forever. Thought I'd give a rundown of the events in the next couple weeks just for fun :)
August 19-21:
Horrorfind and Otakon in Baltimore!! :) w00t! I'm so excited. I'm going to ask Jeffrey Combs to sign my boobs :) And I have almost secured all of the components needed to remake my LA Blue Girl costume for Otakon that I paid $80 for and can only wear the skirt and bow from...bitch! Anyway, I checked the seller I bought it from and she no longer has the outfit listed on her site...AND I checked to see if anyone had bought it back when it was and only 1 person did and they are in Spain! So I was happy. As far as I know at least no one will have the same LA Blue Girl costume as me, even if there are any other Miko Midos at Otakon.
Any suggestions for who to cosplay next year? I have a feeling I am going to get hooked on this and since it'll probably only be a once a year thing I can go kind of crazy on it. I don't like to do common characters (chii, rei, school girls, asuka, sailor moon) I'm more into the lesser known characters because they are more fun and unique. I might do Cammy (Street Fighter V 2, the anime series), Naga (Slayers), or Misato (Evangelion) sometimes, but any other suggestions are welcome to get me thinking! :)
On another note, I recently developed a slight obsession with Lenore (comic). In the past few months I've bought 3 of the comics (only read one because I am waiting to get the rest before I read them), 2 shirts, and Lenore's hair clips from a seller on ebay who makes them. They are adorable, I will post a picture of them sometime I'm sure.
Oh! I also went to Longwood Gardens for the first time last Sunday and took 3 rolls of film of pictures (not digital) after I get them developed maybe I'll scan the really nice ones into Nny's puter and post them. I've also decided that WHEN (not if) I marry Nny, Longwood Gardens would definitely be high on my list of places to get married. I'm thinking a nice fall wedding in crisp autumn air with all the leaves changing color and falling off the trees...*sigh* It'd be so romantic :)
Anyway, I'm out of steam, so byes for now! ^_^
