| Donnie Darko, House, and most of all, Supernatural |

We watched the first half hour or so of Donnie Darko in my humanities tutorial today. TA Robert was dressed suspiciously appropriately: grey and black striped long sleeved shirt, dark jeans rolled up a bit, darks black leathery boot-shoes of some sort, and a leather jacket. I thought it was kind of funny. :P
Watched the new episode of Supernatural last night. They were hunting a "Rougarou", which "sounds made up, I know" (Dean). Note the way the name is similar to "loup-garoux". And then there was one scene where Sam's hair was pushed back, and his ears looked kind of pointy, and he just... looked incredibly wolf-life. I laughed. XD Dear SPN: I miss Sammy's old haircut. This new one just doesn't work for me. D:
In other SPN news: Wikipedia says that in episode 9 of this season, "The boys meet a new powerful demon named Alastair." And you know, all I could think of? A.J. Crowley. Whose name, admittedly, is actually Anthony J. Crowley, but is supposed to be a reference to Aleister Crowley. A vague connection, but, well, yeah. SPN/Good Omens crossover fic, plz? XD
( blah blah blah, SPN, House, and more SPN... )
Time to go to my science lecture. It's kind of funny - I've missed class during the week, but will come on the Friday before the long weekend. I've obviously got it backwards. :P

I've gone a really long while without reading LJ again, and I feel bad about that. I've been meaning to try and read through my friends' posts all week, but I've just been so stretched for time. I've been so busy at work trying to get things done for YA services while still doing my normal circulation duties...it seems like nothing gets done because every time I get into a good groove, someone starts talking to me or needs me to help a patron with a computer issue. Being so crazy busy at work makes the fact that I'm just as busy at home even more obvious. I come home, shower, eat supper, do homework, and then I'm usually so tired that I go to bed by 9:30 or 10:00. On some nights I force myself to watch the movies that I bring home from the library because I know they're overdue as it is. I try to catch up on all of the tv shows I enjoy, but I'm already way behind on that. Then my weekends...what weekends? The only thing different about weekends is that I don't have to straighten my hair every day. Saturdays I spend at Walter and Margaret's, either mowing their lawn, doing other yard work, and/or doing their housework. Recently she's been falling again, and now she's torn all of the muscles in her shoulder so I'm having to do even more of the yardwork. It was this time last year that she fell and broke her arm too. Then on Sundays, more often than not, I end up writing papers for school. So I don't really feel like I get a break. Usually only on Saturday nights do I get a chance to breath, but I'm so tired by then, that I don't feel like doing much.
It wasn't so bad until it started getting so busy at work too, so I don't feel like I can catch my breath or even think. I'm not complaining really though. For the most part, I love my job, and love being back in school. I do regret that I don't get a chance to keep up with the online comics I like to read or my friends journals here on LJ. I'm really behind, and I'm going to try and catch up soon. If there's anything major that's happened in your lives recently, please comment and let me know so I can be sure I check out your journal.
Did get a chance, or rather made myself, watch Across the Universe the other night. Really enjoyed it! I liked how well the music flowed with the movie, made it seem natural. Also, finished the Twilight Saga books a couple of weeks ago. Didn't expect to like them as much as everyone else because of all the hype, but I ended up enjoying them quite a bit. I'm looking forward to the movie. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint me like the Harry Potter movies do.
Hugs to every one of you!
