This is the last bout of the season. I have been looking forward to this for weeks.

Myself, luke, pamela, oliver, richard, adam, possibly sarah and jess (flutterbyxxxs) are going to witness the madness.

Is everyone okay to meet at my place, or do people want to find their own way there?

Pam will you be able to get us tickets tomorrow please?

Rink of Fire Roller Derby is on this Saturday night at 8pm.

Tickets are $10. Pam can get them from near her work, otherwise we'll have to queue on the night.

Jeannie from my work will be participating so I want to bring as many people as possible to support her team, The Ringer Rosies.

You can bring your own alcohol, just covertly and there is stuff you can buy there too.

Who is coming?

...puckhandlers (the rink) is in reservoir and i figure we just continue onto andrew and selina's house warming when the derby finishes...

Didn't end up going to Luke's place last night so the whole 'Luke will wake me up because he's going to work' thing didn't happen and I slept through my alarm this morning - no skating for me :(

Anywho presents are wrapped, clothes packed and I'm going to jump in the shower and get ready for my stupidly long train journey - although I has to say it is significantly better than driving.

A huge thank you to trav for taking me to the station as well. You rock trav!

Feeling the friday love

The end of the working week is in sight! Yay! Although what a strange day its been... Saw a guy ducking, weaving and eventually punching on with a bus stop sign, driving to work behind Ms Muppet, pumpkin and cheese toasties, over half the office not actually working here today, powder blue tutu wearing, finding 9 full bulbs loose in my car, spending almost thirty bucks in a 2 dollar shop and the other 'usual' stuff that comes with my job.

Anywho off to the parentals tomorrow for the next 3 days, its my dad's 60th birthday. Besides haven't seen them for a decent amount of time in ages. Will also drop in on my grandparents whilst in the 'area'. The 8 hour round journey travel time will give me plenty of opportunity to chillax, I am so happy I have an ipod *and* 2 books to read at the moment. I'm trying to decide whether taking my jewellry making stuff along or my knitting basket. Decisions, decisions.

Only a half hour to go - Max Brenners here I come :)

Don't suppose there is anyone who would be able to drop me at Southern Cross Station (Spencer Street) on Saturday by 12:30pm? I can give you some petrol $$$ too (or bake you a cake - it's up to you)

Its my grandfather and dad's birthday so I'll be carrying their gifts which means public transport isn't really an option for the journey into the city - I can catch a bus home to Templestowe on Monday when I'm minus te pressies.

Really don't want to leave my car in a parking place for 3 days, or pay the stupid amount of money it will cost me to do so...

For the second time in 2 days I have found my NOT yet dry washing thrown off a clothes horse to the nearest surface to accommodate someone else's stuff and both times a few items have fallen onto the floor. Picking up my washing, that isn't even frigging dry, off couches, beds and THE GROUND makes me very very very pissed off. So annoyed in fact I'm posting this on lj to avoid screaming. It is so not cool >.

I'm rearranging the lounge this weekend and bascially don't have room for the excess 5 bean bags that people have left here. Besides I am quick sick of our lounge room being crammed full of crap.
