| Bio: | 25 year old female. I like horror movies and this journal will be my reviews and thoughts on different horror flicks. If you don't want any spoilers please don't read the entry and then yell at me. =) I'm pretty open minded and I'm always up for new friends so please feel free to add me! The obession goes way back for me. My dad used to take me to the video store when I was young and I always wanted to rent horror movies. He was extremely cool and thankfully he let me. They didn't scar me, I loved them. Some of my favorite are Re-animator, the Phantasm series, Dead Alive (what a gore fest!), Fright Night (I still remember how cool I thought the cover was back when I first saw it), Dawn of the Dead (I created the day_of_the_dead community here on lj). Lets see.. the list could go on.. I love The Nightmare on Elm Street series. I like certain movies from the Halloween and Friday the 13th series. Return of the Living Dead 3 was pretty cool, gotta like piercings to stomach that one! Chris Sarandon has always had a creap factor for me since seeing him as Jerry in Fright Night. I love him in The Resurrected too, gotta go try to find that one. I like The Serpent and the Rainbow and The People Under the Stairs by Wes Craven. Recent horror movies have disappointed me, they don't make them like they used to. I will say that I liked House of 1000 Corpses, Devils Rejects, Saw, and Saw 2.
