whew. my computer is finally functional in my new home. the rest of my life, save for the kitchen and my clothes, is still mostly in boxes. i feel like q-bert up in here.

i got a new job. i start in 2.5 weeks. i am joyful about this. it has much potential and will, at the very least, be far more exciting and technical.

more later.

OMG!! XD

You were mentioned in conversation this evening about 'backing' somebody's parties. SO GOTTA' do mud-wrestling in kiddie pools! lol kidding, but would that be entertaining! =P

hehe, i have to admit, i totally played a round of qbert tonight at ground kontrol. someone REALLY GOOD was there before me--i only got second place with one of my better games at 30k points stage 9.

i'm totally into enabling parties--after all, as my business card says, i'm a joy facilitator.

however, i take exception to mud wrestling. if i'm gonna have my face in something wet, i want it to be something i like. we shall be pudding or jello wrestling, if anything. the real issue is the cleanup from any kind of wrestling. not so much dealing with scads of used pudding/oil/whatever (though that is its own challenge), but getting people back in any kind of shape that you'd want them in your house again.

i have put some serious thought into this =)

Yeah, I had a HUGE pie-fight party 6 years ago (and to my luck Winco had an INSANE sale for killer gourmet cream pies for 1.99 ea!!!! We're talking about coconut cream, chocolate mouse, lemon morangue(sp?), banana cream, every other flvor you can think of)... and so had over 200 pies there and 40 people (most LEOS) so super crazy, and awesome water fight afterwards to clean up.

Yeah, logistics suck with something like that. I was seriously only kidding. BUt fun to think about.

So, are you saying you've been jumping on your boxes (a la Qbert)? Aren't you worried about breaking your stuff?

Yay for happiness, new jobs, moving and excitement.

Dude, I so get to be Coily!

And I'm so embarrassed at my ubergeekiness at remembering what the snake was named.
