in the whole wide world...
i am uniquely poised to take the world title in naked distance non-recumbent bicycle racing.

i just hit a new high ranking to demonstrate my online-speed-scrabble-with-mandatory-dictionary-following, though there are provably hundreds of people better at it than myself, it is a good bet that all or most of them have put serious time into studying wordlists (unlike me) or have eidetic memories (also unlike me). it made me happy enough to post this. now i have further to fall...

i may be the most outspoken-even-when-sober straight, non-porn-acting male advocate of male genital waxing north america has spawned in my generation.

and i am, on this planet, the most perfect person at being me.

what crazy, silly, strange, and definitely rare skillsets, domains, talents, or otherwise are you master of & willing to admit?

My fingernails are all funny: cloven/cleft/split/whatever thumbnails and index fingernails, ridged othernails.

I walked on my toes when I was little, because my hamstring and achilles tendon were tight. Conversely I'm really flexible the other way.

I have a widow's peak.

When I go skiing I always get a bruise on my knee in the same spot.

I won a giant, stuffed unicorn for being the best behaved in first grade.

I worked as an intern for a crazy, greek so-called astroparticle physicist when I was 15, along with his transcendental meditative, Maharishi International University post-doc who ended up marrying Dear Prudence's daughter.

I have grey eyes.

that's all I've got this time of night in my SARS-ridden, bird flu-infected state. :P

The muscles in my thumbs can bend the thumbs backwards 90 degrees at their knuckle closest to the nail.

I once knew more about golf than anyone else who doesn't play the game, due to working for a company that scientifically researches the game of golf. But I have probably forgotten most of that knowledge in the intervening years.

I have a rare geeky facility for understanding a lot of Polish grammar and being able to speak without a lot of common beginner's mistakes, yet not understand anything the other person says back to me.

I play a board game every day, speaking a mixture of Esperanto, English, and Polish. Luckily I'm not actually the only such person.

I won the gold medal in balance beam at State when i was 12 or 13 and living in oklahoma. This is especially strange when you remember that i am probably the clumsiest person you know. (confirmed this weekend when my sister-in-law blamed me directly for the clumsiness of one of my nieces)

i wear shoes for an average of a decade.

I tend to be a person people confide in -- even strangers. I've given marital advice, career advice, advice on being single, getting along with parents, possible alcoholism -- all on airplanes with strangers. Once i talked with a man my father's age who was trying to woo his wife back, and we continued the correspondence over email. (they got back together!:) )

I was in every play put on during my high school years and wanted desperately to be an actress.

I can recite the first 25 of 60 prepositions in alphabetical order.

I'm a (former) competative ballroom dancing accountant special effects make-up artist who is also a (forcably) retired computer engineer.

Oh, and I'm a big promoter of Scribble an online collabrative scrabble game. But that's mostly because you mentioned online scrabble.
