| Estate sale finds! |

I picked this little gem up at an estate sale. Obviously the owner wasa tinkerer of sorts. It has a wooden back with a spring/screw latch. Ithas a viewfinder with a kodak 3.5 35mm "anastigmat" lens. The bodylooks to be hand made of stainless steel. It also has some handwritteninstructions on the back which have partially worn away with the years.Very cool little camera!

My grandmother passed away about a half hour ago. She'll be cremated this evening per her wishes. |

gma went to hospice today. i know this is not only the best option forher, but it's also what she wants. Yesterday i got a mumbled i love youfrom her. but i still question her cognitive ability as she doesn'talways remember events of the day. i am not as close to her as i was w/my other gma, but this one seems more difficult - more sudden. i guessstrokes are like that. i guess. she'll pass in a week or so as they'llremove her feeding tube @ hospice. time is ticking on more losses thani want to think about. t-minus very soon to the loss of the head of thefamily and the loss of a love. |
