(07/12/04) - I am stepping back into a skin. Without this small space for words I found myself floundering, left out in a sea of minutinae, directionless and my senses muted. I require, as always, an avenue to tell stories of myself, to tell stories to myself. 'viennawaltzing' no longer fit, '_pomegranates' began to crumble. I start anew as I leave behind the security of old routines and places. The memory of the recent year, now about to end, is dimmer and more distant than the memories of the years that preceded it, as though what went unexpressed dissipated like vapour. Unlike Karina, I still want corporeality, not mere wisps of air and emotion.
