The game of Allana's. It's fun.
Phoebe believes in reincarnation and refers to multiple gods; however, not all of Phoebe's beliefs seem internally connected.
Phoebe believes that the cat that jumped into her guitar case in Central Perk contains the spirit of her adoptive mom.
Phoebe believes that her participation at the Mark O’Connor Fiddle camp has changed her musical life
Phoebe believes that whenever she goes to the dentist somebody dies.
Phoebe believes she will soon encounter the man of her dreams
Phoebe believes there are optimal learning periods in each parrot's life and we should respond appropriately to these different stages of development.
Phoebe believes wholeheartedly that lying to children is an excellent parenting technique.
Oh yeah. |

An alarming amount of stuff out there that suggests replies. I'm taking the fifth, and anything even remotely similar. I even restrained myself from asking Mac whether, when he says that a day without cammies is a day of bliss, does he include me and all my friends, or does he refer to the semi-virtual possib-loons that lurk out there in the spaces between html tags. I'm afraid that expecting any answer other than "HATE!!!111!!!" is optimistic to the point of foolishness and would only start another one of those arguments in which I am right, yet never win.
On the upside... umm, no, I think I'll leave it at that. Good night. |

So. Stuff, eh? Project Retail Therapy is in full swing. Targets reached: 1x dark jeans, 1x black pants, 2x tops, 3xCDs. Fun. I like my new jeans. And I have the new Marilyn Manson CD. As usual, some great stuff, some crappy stuff. I quite like "Putting holes in happiness". Oh, and "Eat me, drink me". And I have the new(ish) Muse CD. Already, I'm in love with "Starlight" and "Invincible". Oh, and I had a cool thing. I was watching From Hell, and there was a song playing over the credits that sounded very MMish. So I looked it up, listened to it a couple of times, decided I really liked it, and wondered if it might (by some incredible chance) be on that CD of his I have that doesn't have any track info. So I browsed through them, and I found it!! Yay! So it's on my mp3player, and I'm listening to it obsessively. Happy happy. Today was fun in some ways. I had a nice time with Neil. I like Neil. We get on well. I'm attempting to persuade David and/or mum of the neccessity of us visiting Glenn in NZ. This is because I was talking to Glenn on the phone the other day, and we get on really well. Lots of people say I'm very Glenn-like. Interesting. I'd better go to bed. I've got to install the new speakers in the new car tomorrow. Because I know stuff about electronics. Night. |

Sigh. It's 10pm, it's dark, and it's just me. That's my one big problem with coming home; I run on a completely different schedule to the people here. I can't believe david got up at six this morning to arrive in armidale at 9:30. Ye gods. So I ought to be sleepy, but I feel more awake now that it's dark. Damn normal people. So I thought I'd do some netty things while I have some time. Typing update, looking for muse wallpapers, hoping the pains in my stomach are not the shards of glass mum put in the mudcake. Weirdo. No, it was an accident. But still. Glass. o.0 Yeah, I'm bored. Already. On the upside, I found eurovision in dymocks. *feels like a twonk* So now I can watch the grand finals, which I missed. I'm thinking of doing a ThinkGeek run when I get back. I want a monster book of monsters. :P And it's a very good site for presents. I wonder if david would like a dinosaur plant? I'm sure most people would. Maybe he'd like a witty science-themed shirt. I certainly know what to get for a couple of people, *winks at Lana*. I'm vaguely tempted to get a theobromine molecule shirt. Actually, I'd like the female equaliser shirt, but it only comes in pink. I'm not allergic to pink, I just prefer actual tshirts to be, say, black. Or purple. I think men have a problem with purple (I HATE THE HOME KEY!!!!!!!!!) . They call it blue, or red. It's weird. David does it, Evan does it (though this is not surprising) and Richard does too. I must survey this.
Doo de doo.
Oh, hey. Quizzes!
Oh, thank goodness. I thought my mp3player had died for a minute there. Certainly did a good impression of it. Now I think of it, I really should back it up, given the reputation of the gigabeat series. Sigh. Stumble declines to be installed on this computer. *tosses hair* I don't care. See if I do. I'm playing the find the link game. You can only play it on dialup (sorry guys!). It's where you hover your cursor around a partially loaded webpage and watch the address that appears and try to guess the one you're after. Kinda fun, kinda not.

Take the Villain quiz.
Interesting. My result's changed.
"That's the last time I cartwheel into a room" *laughs* I must try that sometime. I can see Tsaya trying it.
*goes to bed* Night. |

Things seem to be dying here. In cam alone, things are dying. No old players left, us young ones having to take on positions, Conrad being extremely negative about the whole thing. He may very well be right, but I try to be positive. And I may be taking over vampire ST. Again with the trying to be positive thing, but I know I'll suck. It's one of those inevitable things, like the sun eventually abandoning the creatures it gave life to, leaving us to die in the cold and dark, alone, knowing that our existence, history and glorious civilisations were ultimately pointless and we were wasting our time.
I think that comparison got a little out of hand. I think I understand religion a little bit more now. Not that that helps, it's like trying to run windows on an xbox. Just doesn't work.
And then, of course, there's real life. I don't even want to go into that. It's like a black hole. Don't go near it, because it'll suck you in and extrude you into a mathematical point. I don't understand Evan's love of physics. My main enjoyment of those conversations is coming up with bizarre comparisons:
"So, if this was the source of light, this was the black hole, and this is the giant bag of flour..."
It hurts my soul slightly every time I play the stupid card, but it's the easiest thing to do. I feel slightly better when I explain some complicated linguistic thing to him. Still looks at me like I'm a small child/puppy though.
And that fell apart too. Not too surprising, really. He's vague and I'm broken. It would never have worked, I guess. I wish I didn't care.
I really hope Asha comes to visit, soon. I think she'd cheer us all up.
I'm beginning to think I should express my opinions a little more strongly, or even at all. It might make me feel more like a person, and it might help people know where they stand with me. I might just try a little of that.
Allana: You're cranky, but I love you, and I'm with you until the end. And I love the way you defuse tension. :)
That felt weird. For all the female touchy-feely thing, I'm surprisingly uncomfortable about expressing stuff like that. That's probably why Mark doesn't know what I think of him. Poor Mark. I think I'll try and be a bit less blank from now on. Hopefully it works out well. It probably won't. |

This is an account of the Purification of the Cheydinhal Sanctuary, accurate and truthful as far as I can make it, being the only surviving witness of the entire affair. At the penning of this document, I am the Listener of the Dark Broherhood. The events detailed herein follow my bloody rise through the ranks starting with my involvement in the Purification. If any reader desires more information, a diary kept by the traitor exists, as well as one kept by myself. Little documentation was created and less preserved regarding Dark Brotherhood contracts and affairs, but I kept a few in a secure location, and removed them when their secrecy was no longer important. I do not know how long this book will survive, but I leave it, in my Chapel, next to all the documentation I could find. Whether it be historians or future Brothers, I hope it serves some purpose in warning against the complacency that was the destruction of the Cyrodiil Brotherhood. My tale begins. |

And the french assignment is done! Take that! And a very good job too I think. And my lecturer gave me an extension. Woohoo. And my linguistics lecturer gave me an extension! All is well. Hopefully now I will have the time to bug mum into making that corset for me. Hopefully.
I've been given a new band to try out and they're actually kindof good. They're called Anxiety of Influence, dunno why. Apparently it's a book. Oooohhhh! Amy Lee's dress is so pretty! New evanescene album coming out and the art for it is very nice. Pretty.
Oblivion is still entertaining me. I am now the ArchMage, all fear me. Interesting that the mages guild quests are all about destroying necromancy when that character was designed to be one. So now the new ArchMage is a necromancer. But nobody notices, unless I actually wear the necromancers robes (black with a twisted screaming skull). How brilliant my colleagues are. I think the next title I'll add to that character will be Listener for the Dark Brotherhood. Not sure if I want to join the fighters guild, everyone in it seems to be a prat. The evanescence website is way too slow. Can't wait to get back to broadband. Cold. There are pocket watches on ebay. Cool. |

So. Wake up and it's a beautiful day, warm and flowery. Find something appropriate: a short, sleeveless red dress with a flower print. Wander around barefoot, free spirit, enjoy being with nature again (don't think about linguistics assignment). Brain's too sleepy to attempt the linguistics assignment, try the French one. Virtuous feelings - it's not due until the 28th. Open it up.
Due 4th September.
Oh shit.
And, save a few minutes hyperventilating, and the requisite time sleeping and eating, I've been working on the damn blasted thing ever since. *dies* I'm so sick of working. And I can't encourage myself with the "Once you've finished you can relax and play Oblivion" because once I've finished this, I have to go back to the linguistics assignment, which is painfully difficult. Not to mention I don't have one of the needed textbooks. And there might be a study guide and resource book I don't have. Maybe. Sigh. The stress is so constant. I can't relax, there's always pressure, fear lurking at the back of my mind. I need to finish it all. I need Evan. I need all my friends. I think I'll just do my assignments and rock in the corner and try to stay sane. Assignments are one of the things in life that really scares me. They don't all the time, I don't see them lying around and freak or anything. What a frightening life that would be. And there are so many things I want to get done while I'm home, but I don't think I'll manage them before I get back, and if I have to do things when I get back instead of preparing for my lectures, the whole thing will be messed up. Gah. Anyway, stop stressing and get back to it. I want some form of dessert. Hmm. |

La la la. Feeling creative, but have no outlet. Gah. Played Vampire the Masquerade pc game last night. It's fun. I bet it actually would run on my laptop. But I shouldn't. I play too much anyway. And I have almost no room left. I'll probably have to delete things like nwn and zanzarah to make room for nwn2. Sigh. Plans for vampire are good. We're going to have a killer party. At some stage. Yay for blood everywhere. It'll be nice to go home, it'll be all warm and planty. I feel like making my journal rainbow. That would be good.
"The Beast and his armies shall rise from the pit and make war upon God"
Those last two episodes of Doctor Who were really cool. Like incredibly. I like the way the devil possessed man had the same contact lenses as me. All I needed was for someone to attack me with permanent marker. Lana was tempted. I don't think Rose is going to die. I disbelieve. It kindof looks like the Daleks and the Cybermen are going to team up to assimilate the world. Scary stuff. The ultimate alliance. Oo. I might go attempt to be social. I don't think it'll do any good though. Sigh. |

I'm well. Not much going on. Last exam done! Wheee! Thank god for that. I have to concentrate now on finding somewhere else to live, hopefully somewhere in these flats, apparently 10 is vacant. Quotable: "Is that one of those edible berry trees?" "Nope, that's a rosebush"
I had to manufacture my own d4 in ling101 the other day. Made it out of a six sided pencil. You wouldn't think that would work, but fortunately I didn't like the look of one of the answers, so I just gave two to each. Nya ha!
What's been happening? Not much really. Goes over to Conrads muchly, which is a lot of fun. Seat wars are the greatest. I watched Lock, STock, which was quite clever. Fell asleep in the beginning of Snatch, meh. From Hell was somewhat disturbing, but Johnny Depp is sooooooo pretty! And I have XMen 3 and a better copy of Goblet of Fire, SNAPEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention LUCIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ah, they're so pretty. Pretty pretty pretty. I should make them in the mage game.
And I have a little more Stargate, only the Rodney episodes of SG1, but hey its better than nothing. One day I shall figure out how to rip DVDs and get myself a pretty collection of Garak episodes.
Slowly modding Oblivion to death. I don't think it likes it very much. But I'll force it to work and enjoy it. I'm writing the Dark Brotherhood story, oh the angst. Fun.
Neverwinter Nights 2 is coming out in September! I've seen the trailer, it's so so incredibly fantastically shinily wow-wow-wow! I highly doubt my laptop would be able to run it, but I don't care! I'll run it at one frame per second if I have to!
AAAAND Evanescence is FINALLY bringing out a new album in October, called the open door, I think. Yay! Hope its good.
And that's all in the exciting news section. Bye! |

Post and comment, people. I remember when this place was a veritable hive (or maybe a buzz) of activity. Not that I can talk, I don't do much myself... :D. Meh. Kindof good to be back. Waiting for another D&D game, I suddenly find myself bored playing Oblivion. Though I have been having fun making things in the toolset, like teeny weeny ponies and giant pet wolves to guard my manor. La la la. I found the game guide to Oblivion, I never saw the point of buying them before when you can get free ones from the internet, but this one's sooooo pretty with shiny pictures and stuff... Sigh. It's starting to get cool here. And issues quietly lurk beneath the surface waiting to explode violently into your life. *stabs* Not very excited here. Need to find a pattern for arm warmers. Oh, I have so little to say. *wanders off* Much to do. |

*Waits for Glasshouse to come on* I shouldn't be bored, but I am. At least I have stockings. Two new pairs, standard brown ones and fishnets. Dunno where I'd wear the fishnets, or what I'd wear them with, but hey. They had to be bought. As did the new boots (brown) and the two new skirts (both brown, one secretary-ish) and the jumper to go with them. Somebody make me stop spending all my money. Gak. But meh, I have new outfits. La la la. And I keep looking at ebay and spiral direct clothes. Bad Phoebe, bad bad bad. Still downloading the various D&D pictures needed. And still trying to sort the typed stuff into some form of order. Gaaak. Its very difficult to fit in time to sleep what with that and Oblivion. Damn that game is addictive. I'm now questing to buy the house for sale in every town. I have a huge and beautiful Manor in Skingrad. Very handy for if Vicente needs somewhere to stay when he goes to one of Count Skingrad's exclusive parties. *pictures the scene*
"I'll be in Skingrad for the next few days if anyone needs me. The Count is hosting another of his parties. Unfortunately I've left it a little late to organise accommodation, the castle is full" "I've got a little house in Skingrad, Vicente, if you'd like to stay there." "Ah, that would be lovely, Ambrosia. If it isn't any trouble?" "Not at all, here's the key. Rosethorn Hall, the large one near the lake" *smug mode engaged*
And I've got a nice big house in Cheydinhal, not far from the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, which is handy. Oh, Corinne is being very funny. And Dave is being completely hysterical. So yeah, Oblivion obsessive. That sums everything up for me. Goodnight! |

Hello Everyone. This might come out strange, as I'm trying to hold a phone conversation as I'm typing. Well, there are plans for a D&D party at my house this saturday, if that's fine with everyone. Hopefully I'll have sorted the info out by then. And we need to kidnap Emma somehow. And you all need to tell me what pizza preferences you have, as I'm buying an oven pizza we can cook. I don't like vego or supreme, but I can easily grab something. The planned drinks are tea and coffee. Why I'm bothering I don't know, I'm going to tell you all this tomorrow, but nevermind. So yeah. Fuck, I should clean the caravan. Hee hee. Can't remember. And we need to kidnap Emma. Bus is the only thing I can think of. I dunno. Aah! A frog on the window! Heh. Scary. Cute though. Um yeah, I think thats all. Bye for now. |
