so if this whole coming-home thing pans out (i'm starting to worry i've counted my chickens before hatchery... but i'm sure it'll work out in my favour as these things always seem to do magically) i really think we should go to a Jays game. just so you're hyped, or whatever.

Oh man HE is HERE Philip Glass is staying IN the HOTEL I am in the same building as Philip Glass RIGHT NOW.
(OK I don't actually know if that's a for sure, but I have a Philip Glass in the hotel right now and I know he's playing as part of the Arts Fest and I know that the booking was made by Arts Fest people...)
In other news, I hate the way the foreign exchange box slides behind the registration card box, I can never get it fully back on the shelf and it's just this noisy metal-on-metal banging of my frustration.
Last night I popped into a bar to use the toilet while Terran was waiting on a pizza at Domino's. We had been drinking cans in Eyre Square watching the last part of the Flim Fleadh (FILM FLA FILM FLA) which was an outdoor showing of 'Heima' which is Sigur Ros's movie (Sigur Ros have somehow been following me around all week). As I was in the bathroom, the DJ at the bar started playing "These Are the Breaks" and I recalled how at one point (probably while drunk but also in the bathroom at a bar - most likely the Roisin Dubh, obvi...) I was like 'oh man, all I would like to hear on the dancefloor in Galway is "These Are the Breaks"... JUST ONE TIME...' so as I was leaving the bar I turned to the DJ and I was like "Man, I've been in Galway for six months now and all I've wanted to hear was Kurtis Blow, so THANK YOU." and he was like "hey, you're welcome." As I walked out all sassy this blonde English girl with nerdy glasses approached me and was like "did you tell the DJ to play some fucking GOOD MUSIC?" and I just looked at her and said "No" and didn't even break my stride.
All of a sudden I am craving the coffee I used to drink at the hospital. That shit was good.

dropping things infuriates me so much i generally either throw up my hands in frustration or roll my eyes exaggeratedly. i just hate dropping things; i hate it. in other news life is just like ridiculously good right now, just ridiculously.

we're in dublin about to meet dj weezil at the spire and currently on an internet cafe. i'm checking on my flight to milan in 4 hours and it all seems to be a go. that said, i still don't trust ryanair. the Public Enemy show last night was really good (eric aka the weez says it was his best rap show ever) and it is so nice sometimes to be professionally entertained, by professional entertainers, like ones that say "YEAH BOYYEEEE" all the time (for money). i hope emiliano takes me to all the coolest places for eating and drinking and i see some old italian buildings and people, i can't really ask for much else.

i am posting from work! this is so even more naughty than that time i posted from the hospital.
i have this song in my head, it's a song that became super popular right after we moved here and at first we were like "oh god, Europe." and then me being me i promptly fell in love with it.
check out how much the lead dude looks like Darren (sox).

6:12PM - awesomeness in general
- I am just about to leave for julian's where we are going to order in indian food - the song "veni emmanuel" just cycled on and it is like my favourite christmas carol (along with "lo, how a rose e'er blooming" and a few others i guess like "wachet auf" and "in dulce jubilo") - this book i'm reading "Holy Terror" which is non-fiction (which is not something i usually do) about Andy Warhol left over from the Andy Warhol days when i was writing that paper for Todd (what a bastard). - ireland is in five weeks...! with that comes a general sense of freedom but especially freedom from debt in all forms and a surplus of money for the first time in YEARS - lol <3 my BF wow

"Once he tasted some chamomile tea and sent it back, saying only: "This stuff tastes of window." Both she and the servants were surprised because they had never heard of anyone who had drunk boiled window, but when they tried the tea in an effort to understand, they understood: it did taste of window." -GGM (L in the T of C)
"Outfoxed by all the pretty foxes. Where did I go wrong?" -Reggie Mantle
"What kind of beer?" -Penny Lane

rood loobstoor tonooght (it's like that game, "i like to eat eat eat apples and bananas")
ok so the skratchiest of beazles is playing at the drake (the norm, apparently) on the sunday of the long/caribana weekend. while maya was thinking about sean paul and ne-yo it's a) at the molson amphitheatre (crapboobs) and b) it's listed as $31 for lawns on ticketmaster.ca (which doesn't even include fees and shit)... thus i say paul it is. plus it's not like those parties are ever lame... in fact,

hey where is that guy? someone should call him tonight. but not his friend. oh, certainement non.

JUST BEAUTIFUL
I love the vocal and Bun B looks so amazing in that suit.
My favourite part is the verse with Bun B in the drop with David Banner.
David Banner is the perfect man. Perfect.
