I got dick jokes

So i came home tonight and i didnt know what to do with myself. I decided to turn on teh tv to see what if anything was on. I havent watched tv in a long time. I sjtu dont do it much anymore. Theres nothing i want to watch. I have watched lots of mst3k and simpsons still of course. Anyhoo i flipped through saw Monty Python was on pbs but saw taht sketch so cahnged it and ended up watching Last Comic Standing on NBC. I watched it the first time and i enjoyed parts of it. LAot of the comics were crap infact if i remembr all the comics i liked got kicked off fairly quickly. But i start watching and these are the episodes where they pick the comics to be on the show ala American Idol. There were so many unfunny people. Comedians are some of the unfunniest people i have ever seen. I hate when i watch someone that is supossed to make me laugh and i am just sitting there blank.

Whatever people are stupid they dont know wahts funny. I mean Dane Cook is propably the biggest comic now and...yeah if thats doesnt just say it all. If you cant read subtext i'm saying Dane Cook isnt funny.

One comic comes on and he starts right out with penis jokes. Speciffically uncut penis jokes. Now I' am about to drop a bomb here, this is something i dont tell anyone because of fear of ridicul and ive seen it before.. but those jokes hit home. I didnt find them funny. Again the subtext, I have an uncircumsized penis. There i said it! Its out there.

Now this is a hard thing to live with. You have no idea. Ive seen friends with the natural look get mocked by those butched kids. I kept mine to myself. All throughout school it never got out. Luckily i never ahd to get naked infront of other dudes. WHich i problay wouldnt have done no matter what my dick looked like. I was also lucky to never have any girls start talking shit about me after splitsville.

The uncircumsized penis is looked down apon in our society. By boys and girls and its a sad thing. I feel like i have been blacklisted by macarthy and i am trying to hide this secret. Ive always been a little embarrased and ashamed of my penis. That is when i realized my johnson was differnt then than mostly everyone else.

SEX. oh god what a nightmare my sex life has been living with this secret. There comes that time when... you know how it goes, you are kissing and she moves down and ... THis is nerve racking for me the first time. Its too much taht i ahve made it policy to tell a girl before hand, before any penis play comes about. Because that suprised look can kill a man, i'll tell ya. Oh and yeah, this is an easy conversation for me.
" oh wait, i should probaly let you know.. before.. uhm... there might be a little bit more of me there than you might be expecting."
This is my life i have to deal with this and you know what I am tired of it, damnit. There is nothing wrong with my penis. Infact there is something wrong with everyone elses penis, they have been mutilated and for no reason! THere is no significant reason to cut of teh foreskin. And peopel think oh they are babies they dont care, it wont hurt them. But infact it does! it sends them into shock, thats why they dont scream.

My dick works just as well if not better. ( definatly better) than any other guys out there. Its practically the same thing, just looks a little differnt. I feel my penis is more convientiant than those other ones also. and also, ladies those condoms" ribbed for her pleasure" well guess what, those are made to simulate the feeling of an uncut penis. yeah! I come equipt with that shit son. I'm like robo cop with the gun in the leg. pow. tricks.

I dont need "comedians" making jokes about my penis. I have enough problems alright.

I got sidetracked and did not get to write this as well as i had hoped. But on an upnote i did jstu write a whole lj entry about my penis. I love ya buddy.

I jsut happen to take that one polroid becasue i was using black& white film and i wanted it in color. That polroid coudl ahve been better, I'll admit it but i stil like it. I did shoot 35mm today. It's been a year, I'm not even exagerating. It's a shame. I shot a roll and it was great great fun I'm goign to try to start shooting more.

The only thing now is i dont know what to do with the film. I only ever developed my own. I dont ahve access to a dark room anymore the reason i stopped shooting 35mm. I am thinking of just walking into a college and using their darkroom, no one ever checked me when i used to go. I'm afraid to just bring it to some quick 1 hour photo place. and of course there are professional developing places but i dont know if i want to deal with them and i dont know if i have the money for it. I imagine they are pricey but i never been so i dont know.

If you get film developed let me know what you do.

Also i want to try using color film, if you shoot with color what would you recommend?

Little People, Big World

This is probably my new favorite show. The rare occasion i get to watch tv, i men actual tv not some show i ahve on dvd or on my harddrive, i check TLC to see if its on. If you didnt read the Subject line I'm speaking of Little Peopel Big World on TLC.

It follows the lives of a family of Little people. Well The mom and dad are little people, both have average sized parents. They have 4 kids, 3 of which are average size and 1 is a little person. He is actually a twin, his brother being average sized.

And yes its just anther reality documentary series. I dont like most of these shows but this is a good one. Its refreshing because these peopel are real people, and you never get taht with reality tv. Its always some obnoxious college kids or something. You know the type, mtv books them regularly. The TLC shows are good though, I am also a big fan of Miami Ink. But becak to Lttle People... I'm not exactly why i find this show so fascinating, I think must be that i jstu liek enjoying peopel and wathcing them and understanding how differnt peopel operate. THe thing i really get a kick out of on thsi show is that they are so real. I dont mean that as in, " wow, little peoeplare just like us" but jsut.. "these peopel on tv are real" These peoel have all this small traits i see everyday, It's not something i can explain but if you are a peopel watcher and you watch the show you'll get it.

Anyhoo its a great show i suggest chekcing it out. There is a marathon on TLC right now, thats why i decided to write this up now. Watch it and learn how rough it is out there for Little Peopel but they are pretty cool about it.

and if you just cant get enough little people i also suggest going out and renting The Station Agent. Ive noticed it on IFC a couple time recently also. Real good movie.

I feel like a dink sometimes cause i talk about things im working on and alot of the time i never share because.. i just cant, unless you want to come in my room. thats the only way you can see/hear.

but ive started working on Reason. Ive had it on my computer forever but hardly ever used it. programming drum machines tends to drive me nuts but... im starting to enjoy it. Ive been here at my computer for many hours just toiling away the last few days.

and since it is all computer based i thought id share some.
These are not nearly the full songs. the songs arent even close to being done, works in progress.
I just recorded little snipets with windows sound recorder.

http://www.filelodge.com/files/room14/362096/tomwaiting.wav
i clearly ripped off tom waits. i dont know if i even like that bass line, ill probably get rid of it.

http://www.filelodge.com/files/room14/362096/12crayola.wav
This one is almost done. i have a few more synth lines to record. im still working on it, its driving me nuts though. i just deleted a couple of parts from it, youll notice the awkward changes when you listen.

so next time/ if ever you hear these, they will probably be very differnt. but here is a glimpse inside the whacky world of song writting.

They talked about getting him an image consultant. Ive started writting a play. It's about evangilists. I just want to be called a playwrite.. makes me sound fancy and sophisticated and shit.

also im about to start writing a comic with my illistrater friend, jacob.

and there maay be a documetary. i dont know about it though casue its going to be alot of work. We are going to try to get some funding and .. maybe. we'll see. it'll be about the united states education system and how its falling short. this is something i raelly want to do but its also be the most professional thing and.. its going to be ALOT of work and alot of time. alot.

I've shared worse so why not. 2 are 600 film with a onestep and the last is spectra.

uhm how to explain this photo. well thats my first car for starters. but the photo isnt the best and thats the point of it. I wanted to see if i could take a photo that would look like a shot from those 70 horror movies Evil Dead, Texas Chainsaw Masacre, The Last House on The Left. Thats what its suposed to be. I think i was somewhat sucessful.

Gates?

I like noticing small pieces of space that from the right angle look like a completely differnt place. And thats the great thing about photography. A good example of it is the farmhouse photo a few entries down.
Heres 3 polaroids. I shot them using the Spirit w/ 600 film. This camera is still a bt of a mystery to me. Ive wasted about half the pack of film. Its extremely light sensitive and i am still trying to figure out how much/ when to compensate for it. But ill master it. I am enjoying the saturated shadows it comes up with. Also i keep being a dummy cause when i go to shoot with it I forget that its a range camera. I tend to be very meticulous about framing things. So i have to do some educated guessing.

The last one looks as bad as it does mostly because of my horrible scanner but it did come out pretty dark. It still looks sorta decent when holding it.

I have some more polaroids shot with my new spectra system that ill post later.

I bought another camera today. :/
Its not like i am trying to be a photographer or anything, im just having fun.

Anyhoo .. its not a polaroid. Its a 35mm.

Minolta Hi-Matic E rangefinder.

cute tiny little guy. i like the way it looks and feels.
I dont shoot much 35 mm anymore 1 part being i just dont like my 35 mm camera. its so bulky and hi tech and im afraid to drop it.I thought this guy would respark my interest in 35 mm. I wont feel so embarrased pulling this little guy out and taking a picture.
BUT me being a retard and getting so over excited at cheap finds failed to notice a couple of things. I thuoght it was automatic/ manual because it clearly has a switch that says the two.but appearntly that just has something to do with the flash.. i dont know. but its fully automatic. whatever fine... thats fine. but theres another problem. the camera was built to use 1.35volt mercury batteries. They dont make them anymore and there really isnt a perfect replacement to match the voltage. This fucks with the metering system making it a bit hard to judge.
I guess theres ways to get it to work but.. meh im not in the mood to mickey mouse with batteries.

:/ i was real excited to go out and shoot with this today too.

I also rebought Duck Hunt today but i dont have a gun. I tried to buy one but the fucking place was trying to charge me 15 bucks for it... its worth like 3. they were selling games for like 6 bucks too when everyplace else i find them they are 99cents. highway robbery im telling you!

SUPOSED to work today but someone went MIA in the matter of an hour. So i went out to savers i fed my habit. I do think i have a problem. I have a hard time saying no to polaroid cameras. BUT wahtever i'll save the 12 steps for later

I bought this little guy.
Polaroid Spectra System "First Edition"

I couldnt find anyhting about it online except it was produced in 1986. I dont know how many or for how long they were produced. From what i cn gather up by the looks of it, it is basicaly a regular spectra system but its all black and says First Edition on it. Thats enough for me cause it just looks cool. It looks so fresh and clean unlike my other Sprectra which is that sort of ugly greenish/brownish color. it looks military. It also came in a neat box. Its black and says polaroid and it nests in there...

The jerk off that had previously owed it though let an exposure get stuck in there and left it and there was one after still in the chamber. both wasted but it also fucked up the counter. SO when i put new film in it read the cardboard as the last exposure and went to 0. I wasted 2 more trying to fix it and.. its not. i got it to work but its reading 9 when there is actualy only 7 in there. IM going to have to rig something to fix after i use the remaining up.

Test Shot:

A little blurry and grainy but i'm just going to assume that was my error cause i was rushing just to find out if it worked.

It is amazing outside. im going to go skate and ride my bike and try to take some pictures. I forgot about weather like this. it makes me remember life. I cant wait for spring.

There are two segments of COPS that i will never forget. One of them being a sting operation. Heres what went down.

These cops go to this run down urban neighborhood. They place a new bike against an abandoned building and leave it there, not changed.. no one in sight. Just leave this bike against the wall of an abandoned building in this run down inpoverished town. The cops then go an hide and wait. They wait for someone to come and take the bike and thats when they move in and arrest them.

I dont know, maybe its just me but i was astonished when i watched this..is it not completely ridiculous? I'm all for busting criminals but.. come on. Thats basically putting 5 dollars on the ground and then busting who ever picked it up. IF the biek was chained up.. okay.. i guess.. if a little girl was holding it and it was stolen.. okay get that jerk. But arresting someone for taking an abandoned bike... insane.

I was reminded of this segment last night wheni was watcing some show on CNBC. It was about online preditors. One segment had this guy from Dateline who i guess did a story of pretending to be 12-15 yearold boys and girls and invitning guys over to this house and then he woudl ambush them and interview them.. ask them waht they are doing. This part was fabulous. Busting pervs and humiliating them great. I jsut LOVE Guys trying to pick up girls... over the internet its even funnier... it being illegal and completely inappropriate.. fucking comedic gold. But maybe thats me.. i find the most atrocious things to be hillarious. But The guy who did the story said some, thing that got me to think. Explaining how the sting operation worked he said people posed as 12-15 year old boys and girls and went into sex chat rooms and they got messages from guys and they would start a conversation. The conversations would tend to go ina sexual direction. They would highlight the tings the guys would say but.. but ive been part of society for.. ooh at least 3 years and i know that to have a conversation.. there needs to be two people conversing. And well.. for these guys to show up at this house thinking they are going there to meet some one for sex.. that someone would have had to give them a time and their address.

Im not defending these guys but... i find it funny how we treat these young teenageers as victims when they are willing participating. I had sex before i was 15.. i knew what i was getting into... Alot of these kids arent victims.. they should get punished too. Theyre little sickys wanting to fuck some old guys they just met on the internet. in a sex chat room of all places. You dont meet someone in a sex chat room and invite them over when your parents wont be home to watch power rangers and play shoots and ladders.

Guys need to stop being little perverts. Kids need to stop being sooo fucking dumb. Police should stop creating envioments to intice crimes and maybe actauly go after people commiting crimes. Its not like ones arent happening freely.

Spirit 600 land camera

Today i fooled around with the new purchase. it was just 2 dollars by the way. ON closer inspection THe Spirit 600 is basically pre one step and post Amigo. I dont think it was for regular retail sale. Obvioulsy its not the more high end polaroid models, but thats fine by me cause i tend to like cameras with flaws more than ones that are designed to be "perfect".

The thing i hate about experimenting with cameras is the waste of film. i waste so much film and its hurts more with polaroid giving how expensive it is. Though i was thinking yesterday, a quality 35 mm camera woudl run you a few hundred dollars, but the film is only a few bucks, but with developing some more money. A decent polaroid camera you can find for a few bucks, the film is much more expensive but you save with the cheap camera and the developing. With that in my head i wont feel so bad about buying polaroid film.

but like i was saying, i ruined a couple of exposures. but i figured it out.
1.

Thats when i found out flash is sort of needed for this camera. i took another shot after playing with the exposure controls and it came out even muddier. I was discouraged but later i got a second wind and opened it up to let all the light in and took another picture.
3.

Im glad i got something visible. So i guess this will be an outside camera, at least until i get a flash for it. Oh yeah adn the view finder isnt from the lens, its just from the corner. Thats a little annoying cause i am usualy so anal about framing. but whatever. ill ill just use this guy for fun, take the lomography saying, and "shoot from the hip"
