Anne, Paula, Vicky and I went to the Decemberists concert on Saturday (well, they were opening for Beck, but who cares about him). They were awesome, of course - played half a dozen songs from their new album. It sort of sucked that most of the audience was talking throughout their whole set, but the lead singer got back at them by singing "Los Angeles". Snicker.

So...I'm off to Idaho tomorrow. It's a really roundabout trip just to get there: a plane from Burbank to Seattle, from Seattle to Boise, and then from Boise to Idaho Falls. It'll take twelve hours, but at least I'll be able to finish Storm of Swords. Anyway, if someone's been in that general area and knows something fun to do, let me know (we'll be camping, but I'm hoping there're one or two other things to do there). Bye for now.

Too bad that the audience considered Decemberists so low on the Beck-ing order. Have fun in your own, private Idaho, though—that should be fun. Have fun in Seattle, too, since it's near where I used to live. See you online, if you can make it, from the depths of the uncharted wilderness!

lol--well, the only place I know of in Idaho is in Moscow: St Andrew's College, a redneck Christian school where you can see the roof upon which the mystery of the Shroud of Turin was solved (apparently).

Interesting

An interesting person you seem to be, traveling with an interesting crowd. I sense many thoughts you keep to yourself, but the others you write do scream out loud. A river of nonsensical words, I comment a leave with you. The chores I have at home are calling, thus I shall leave thee. Adieu.
