( TMI )So, there are a lot of tv shows. And I don't watch nearly enough of them. My Netflix queue has been very full lately. I'm on season three of Babylon 5, which is quite possible the most perfectly plotted television show in the history of tv.
And there's this scene that reminds me of Buffy season 7:
Will: The bad ones(officers) were loaded down with this sense of terrible responsibility. It consumed them. They wanted to do right by the men and women under their command, but after awhile they just became more and more isolated, unapproachable, down right unsociable.
Sheridan: Cranky?
Will: Now...that's as good a word as any. They were in such a fog of worry and self-doubt that nobody could get through. When your worry tank gets full people stop coming to you 'cause they don't want to add to it. Have to empty out your worry tank once in a while or you just get more isolated.
I got Monk last night, which I didn't really like. It's kinda funny, but it's always the same joke. I don't think I'll rent anymore of them. I've also been renting the Dick Van Dyke show. I love it more than anything. He writes a tv show and his wife has perfect hair and his kid hides in cabinets and it's just wonderful and perfect. I want to be Dick van Dyke.
So far I've accomplished very little today. I finished up some wallpapers, though.
