| Bio: | My name is Urooj. I am about yay high and I'm a first year at VCU, double majoring in Political Science and International Relations, with a minor in Arabic. I love the world a lot...enough to spend thousands of dollars of tuition funds on learning about it. Other things that pique my interest include traveling, photography, music, movies, friends, family, Jerry (the current feline love of my life), debate, politics and world affairs. Speaking of politics, I am a lefty-ish, others would say I'm an extremist, or possibly insane and force me into a mental institution. I love Chomsky and Zinn and Blum and Z and all the rest of those radicals...I have an excellent relationship with the mass media and never fail to criticize any government or corporation given the chance. I enjoy reading: I like ficton, nonfiction, and can especially have fun with satire...I like to read it, write it, think it, see it, say it, eat it, breath it, touch it, hear it, whatever. I don't know computers, but I love the invention. Instant pornography for everyone and free music. What a great invention. I guess I am a social activist...I help civil action commitees raise cash for the poor around the world and fight for international justice, however I do not hug trees. Or plant them. I am passionate about life and choose to live it, rather than observe. I dislike the president of the USA (Whoa!), but like the fact that I have the freedom of speech to make that statement. I'm originally from Pakistan and have spent a substantial amount of time living there. I've also lived in Ireland and miss it. Ok that's got to be enough... I cannot possibly have more to say about myself. And sleeping. Oh yes, love sleeping! | |||||
