As a result the creative forces on earth begin to stir again." [Richard Wilhelm's and Cary F. Baynes translation "I Ching: Or, Book of Changes"] A new journal to mark a change. A need to set the past aside and start again with a new venture, a new path, the begining of a journey. ~*~ So much has changed since I began this journal. Let me tell you a little bit about myself, reader, if you are going to follow me through this record of some few glimpses into my life. I am an apsiring lighting and audio technician for entertainment- music, theatre, industrial theatre and the like. Somehow, I fell into this industry, and I believe I have found a niche for myself where I can continue to learn and to develop those skills and talents I have. There is, of course, so very much yet to learn. I am also a student of Shao-lin Kung Fu. Currently, I am a third degree brown belt. I have been in the art for a year or so. It has become an important part of my life, which is simply the nature of such arts, if you allow them to become so. What else would you like to know? I write when I have the urge, or the time. Sometimes, I even manage to create something approaching poetry. Other times, strings of words that have little meaning to anyone but myself. More than this, I fear, you may just have to discover for yourself. Possibly by readeing the entries herein. Possibly by simply asking me, if you feel so inclined. | |||||
