I'm a girl who loves to read and write (music/lyrics & stories), and listen to music, and most of all, sing! I love hanging out with my friends (and making new ones!), watching anime, adding to my formidable sock collection (all cute!), the ocean, the night, and anything that involves androids and clockwork girls! :) The story I've written that I'm proudest of is "Beyond The Century"; please read it and let me know what you think! :)

Here are five things you may (or may not) know about me:

1. I'm 5'7" (1.7m) (I used to be 5'11" (1.8m) - I shrunk!) and my measurements are 34B-33-37.5 (87-84-95cm)

2. I usually talk with a slightly British generic American accent, but I've been known to often slip into many other disparate and diverse accents, including many dialects of British, Irish, American and others...(it's great for acting and doing impressions too!)

3. I have myopia (I'm near-sighted) but I hardly ever wear glasses because my facial structure changed since I last bought frames and they look totally unflattering on me!

4. My eyes are hazel-green and they change colour, depending on the temperature: the warmer I am, the greener, and the cooler, the more hazel.

5. I have freckles on both arms that form the shape of the big dipper/little dipper (ursa major/minor)!

Caitlin is a clockwork, run by a key that is ever-present around the neck, and requires winding at least once per day. Being around for 17 years, the system is beginning to break down, both physically and mentally. Life expectancy is currently unknown.
Strengths: Catie is very empathic, and care deeply for friends. Music comes easy, and Catie possesses an eerie singing voice that has been described as an "acquired taste". This clockwork also occasionally spins tales that some have found most enjoyable.
Weaknesses: Catie's emotional and physical centers are beginning to break down, causing much pain and consternation within the mental center, which has degenerated nearly as much. Due to the age of the clockwork, Catie often has trouble in social situations and can be quite stubborn, and often can seem just plain stupid.
Special Skills: Catie has many incarnations, such as a state-of-the-art android, a faerie, a cat, a witch and a Leanan Sidhe. In these different incarnations, Catie has access to copious amounts of power and light. The clockwork body, however, is too weak at this point to make use of much of that power.
Weapons: Taryn possesses a high degree of empathy, which is often used in helping friends and others in dire straits. Caitlin has also been known to bend time, predict the future (also with prophetic dreams), sense impending weather, grow cat ears and a tail, and have pretty wings. Whether these are weapons is debatable.
Wishes: Caitlin hopes to become real someday, with all the different incarnations being part of one real human, preferrably one younger than the current model. Call it a Pinocchio-Lolita Complex, perhaps? Catie also wishes all friends to be happy and accepted as they are, in a world of light and love.
