Callum and Hugh who, part two.
After I made my CKR/HD RPS 101 post (™ scriggle), I realized I'd overlooked my favorite picture evereverever of Callum and Hugh. I looked and looked, and I didn't have it. I asked jcjoeyfreak if she had it and she totally saved my bacon. Look at them under the cut! So cute!

Also, china_shop says, "I just got Smile and Wave in the mail, and okay, I knew that Callum was in the credits, and I even kinda knew that his photo was in the insert, but I'm still stupidly crazily dizzily excited to see this with my own eyes, and hold it with my own fingers!"

Ya hear that? Callum's picture is in the insert of one of Hugh's (actually The Headstones') albums. I asked around and once again, jcjoeyfreak came through and scanned the pic:

Callum and Hugh who?
Once upon a time, there was a guy named Callum Keith Rennie. Callum was an actor. One day, back in the mid-90s, he met another guy, name of Hugh Dillon. Hugh was a musician and actor. Together, they were in a movie called Hard Core Logo, which is about the reunion tour of a legendary punk band. Hugh played the lead singer, Joe. Callum played the lead guitarist, Billy. Twelve years later, Callum and Hugh are still friends. Hugh talks about Callum in interviews (God, endlessly), and Callum goes to watch Hugh's band play.
Here's a quote from "Hard Core Roadshow", the book written (in 1995 by Noel Baker, the screenwriter) about the making of Hard Core Logo:
We wrap for the night and drive on to the town of Hope, polishing off a bottle of brandy along the way. Hugh and Callum lock themselves in the back room of the bus, leaving the rest of it to the rest of us. Their unabashed fascination with each other continues.

Friends Only.
Fannish stuff goes on here, dS and CKR-lifeforms general chatter these days. No fic, no icons, mostly just chatter. If you don't know what dS and/or CKR is, you're in the wrong place. If you do know what the heck I'm talking about and want to see my fannish squee and picspams (and the occasional amusing-to-me RL story), add me and drop a comment and I'll most likely add you back. Oh, and you should probably be at least eighteen years old and not anyone I know IRL for that to happen, just to be on the safe side.
If you read me, and then decide that my LJ isn't your cup of tea, no hard feelings if you don't want to stick around. Friending someone sight unseen shouldn't be a stressfest. Fandom should be fun, guys. Come on in; the water's fine.
