BioThis journal is partially friends-only to protect both me and the people I write about. Some stuff just doesn't need to be seen by everyone. If you read my journal and like it, add me and if I feel the same about yours I'll add you back. Not to be a bitch, but I'm quite picky - I like to actually read all of my friends' entries, so if we don't have much in common and I find myself scanning your entries then I probably won't add you.
That said, please don't add me unless you're going to read my entries - there's really no point. Yes, they're very long, and yes, it's totally fair enough if you don't want to read them. All I ask is that you don't add me if you have no intention of reading my journal. Long, introspective, annoying entries aren't for everyone, and that's fine!
I am honest. Very. This is me warts and all - I am as honest as I can be about myself, so my entries contain everything I think, however shameful it may be. If you're going to read, just be prepared that I can be bitchy, neurotic, self-obsessed, conceited, negative, depressed, over-analytical, intense... However, I can also be pretty nice and I don't take myself that seriously, however it may seem. My journal is my venting space; journals by their very definition are narcissistic - a place to write about ourselves and lend importance to our rather unimportant lives - so it follows that my entries are narcissistic too.
That just about covers it I think.. oh, and I don't comment very much. I always read, but like in life, I don't respond unless I have something to say which I think will really be of help or which realy needs to be said. I'm an observer more than a participator, but rest assured that I am reading and I always reply to comments in my journal.
I think I've probably made myself sound really scary now! I'm not really - I'm like a spider - more scared of you than you are of them.

P/s ~ Yes I know the layout looks like crap. It looks nice with a 1024x768 resolution or if you're on my computer; other than that I am aware that the alignment is all squiffy.
