Appearance: Dante possesses an athlete’s top form, tall, broad shouldered and muscular. He is a mercenary/devil hunter by trade, thus his regalia usually consists of a long red leather coat, red leather pants, black boots and gloves, with a black vest beneath, buckled in front.

While his boyish good looks, bright blue eyes and cocky personality mark him to be perhaps in his late twenties or earlier thirties, there is an air about him – as well as a haunted look around his eyes if one has the chance to closely observe – that suggests he is much older. Many also attribute advanced age to his platinum hair, but it is merely a trademark of his family.

Personality: Dante is a cocky bastard. He makes no apology for it and is somewhat indiscriminate when it comes to “thinking before he speaks”. However, he does have some tact, although he’s lived too long and been through too much crap to care what others think of him. While not a natural leader – most folks just follow the path he bulldozes through anyway – he is very good at his job and takes it and those he cares for very seriously.

But his snark is never-ending, no matter the circumstance. Loving hot woman, cold booze and a good brawl, Dante is a man in his element and has plans to enjoy every moment of his life, because for those in his line of work, it’s usually rather abruptly cut very short.

History: Dante is one of the twin sons of Sparda, the demon knight who revolted against Hell’s legions and was rewarded humanity for his service. Although his parents and his brother were killed in his youth, Dante nevertheless survived and lived on the streets until Tony Redgrave took him in and taught him the business of hunting for a living.

Somewhere in his teens, Dante discovered his parentage and started into the business of killing demons for select clients, but it was on Mallet Island that he truly became aware of his heritage and his family linage. Since then, he’s used his devil blood to aid him in his missions, keeping the world safe from the denizens of the underworld. For a modest fee, of course.
