Political Warning Tuesday 16th Jun, 2009 | 9:16 pm
I mostly keep my political views off my journal. However, this is the stupidest thing I have ever read.

http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSTRE55F2UH20090616?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews

The idea is the Jewish people in Israel shouldn't continue building their houses or expanding and should insitute a "freeze" until a two-state solution is reached.

So what are the Jewish people supposed to do? Live on top of each other?

Netanyahu has refused to accept Obama's direct call for a full settlement freeze in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, defending building in existing blocs to accommodate growing Jewish settler families, known as "natural growth."

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has demanded a halt to all building, including natural growth, as a condition for resuming stalled peace negotiations with Israel.

Palestinians have refused all Israeli pre-conditions for a two state solution.

“The problem with Livejournal is that we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. Hence, I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don’t know about you.”

Dr. Tiller, again Sunday 31st May, 2009 | 4:32 pm
The alleged man who shot him is in police custody.

I'm furious at all the people who have condemned him, and wished him dead, are now issuing public statements of sympathy about his death.

Seriously? Fuck you Phil Kline.

This is the abortion clinic closest to mine and the only one that will terminate a pregnancy over 21 weeks. This includes cases where the mother's life is in danger, or the fetus would not survive the pregnancy.

It doesn't matter what you believe about abortion, murdering this man in his place of worship is wrong.

I'm shaking.

This pictures are so sad! There just isn't a great solution to what we've done to this planet.

When we move to the house we are going to use as many reusable products as possible.

I knew Swine Flu wasn't new! Friday 1st May, 2009 | 4:47 pm
It's not nasty enough to be "new."

"This study emphasizes that an influenza virus, which is known to induce a lethal infection in ferrets and macaques, is not highly virulent in pigs, indicating a potential resistance of swine to highly virulent influenza viruses," Richt said. "It also suggests that pigs could have played a role in maintaining and spreading the 1918 human pandemic influenza virus."

Gamers... help! Thursday 30th Apr, 2009 | 9:53 am
I want to play the Final Fantasy online game. I don't know how to determine if I can on my computer (not likely.)

I can't find specs required to run the game... anyone have any ideas? I've never played a multiplayer online game before.

SERIOUSLY!?!?!?!?! Sunday 22nd Mar, 2009 | 6:11 pm
How did I just find this out?!?!?!

Star Trek: The Experience is re-opening in May!

I BAWLED when it during the decommissioning ceremony on September 1st, 2008. We were there the last week it was open in August and we were all so sad. It was so neat to meet so many who loved the franchise as much as I did.

I am ready to SCREAM with excitement!

Over you by Chris Daughtry Monday 23rd Feb, 2009 | 7:19 am
You took a hammer to these walls,
Dragged the memories down the hall,
Packed your bags and walked away.
There was nothing I could say.
And when you slammed the front door shut,
A lot of others opened up,
So did my eyes so I could see
That you never were the best for me.

This is going to be a beautiful, happy, perfect day.

Twilight Monday 29th Dec, 2008 | 11:18 am
I read the whole twilight series (in less than a week) and I wasn't a big fan. Creepy- stalkerish boyfriend much? Weird.

Some stuff was kinda cool- like sparkly vampires.

However- does anyone have any solid evidence that the Twilight series is based on Mormonism?

I really thought the whole "Let's not have sex until we're married with NO DETAILS WHATSOEVER" was kinda weird.

Why, yes, I am a badass Sunday 14th Dec, 2008 | 10:29 am
I groomed my own dog. It took about 5-6 hours between re-oiling the blades and letting the clippers cool off. She's a miniature Australian Shepherd. She has a double coat and had a FULL coat that was 6 inches at the longest.

She looks awesome. There are a few imperfections (but only I would notice being the perfectionist that I am) and I thought I burned her a couple times but there isn't any red on her today so I must have not burned her like I thought I did. Perhaps she has sensitive skin.

I would never, ever want to do this for a living, or even on a regular basis for any dog but my own!

Any Ideas? Monday 24th Nov, 2008 | 11:58 am
None of my comments are being e-mailed to me. Any ideas why? I've checked my spam folder, my settings, and that I did have the correct e-mail address on LJ.

They've just stopped coming as of this morning!

No TV. Tuesday 4th Nov, 2008 | 10:00 am
We have never had TV since we moved out over 2 years ago. I have never missed it and neither has Maddox. We have DVDs if we feel like hanging out but no TV.

I wish I could pay for TV for ONE day so I could see this election play out.

New Phone Wednesday 24th Sep, 2008 | 9:59 pm
Need ringtone suggestions!

I will only get them on the Verizon Wireless Website (as I have been BURNED in the past getting them other places).

The Samsung Glyde only comes with beeps or 3 very annoying ringtones with the phone. This phone will stay on vibrate until I find a ringtone I can love.

I want the theme to Star Trek: The Next Generation but they only have it as a ringback tone. Stupid!

I've thought about some Evanescence song as the ringtone too since I'm obsessed with them :)

WTF?? is wrong with my cat?!?!?

She's hiding under my futon (not like her AT ALL) and she peed and POOPED on my bed (all is clean now!) She's into everything normally! She won't let anyone touch her.

Her litterbox is clean, her food is the same, her LIFE is the same.

Any cat-savvy people have any ideas? Or know where I can get good info about her behavior?

Laundry Thursday 4th Sep, 2008 | 12:41 pm
Today is better.

Laundry is taking over my life. Either I have to take it somewhere (Della's or my grandpa's) and spend hours washing/drying/using their resources or spend $30 to wash at my apartment complex and the clothes don't smell all that clean to me.

I am seriously considering hiring this laundry firm that would pick up my laundry at my apartment, return it washed, hung, folded, and socks put together 2 days later.

Thoughts?? Negatives? It's not much more expensive than washing it at my apartment.

Kylie! Saturday 16th Aug, 2008 | 3:36 pm
Kylie is doing well on Blue Buffalo. She eats about 1/2 to a full cup on dog food in the evenings and she loves it. I mix Venison with the kibble and she inhales it. I've been doing this for three weeks and she's gained 2 1/2 lbs!! She looks so much healthier! I am so excited!

Katana is a brat and she won't eat the cat version of BB so she's still on Nutro. She tries to steal Kylie's Venison though :p I just bought her pine something or other pellets for kitty litter because I am SO SICK OF CAT LITTER ALL OVER THE FREAKING PLACE! I didn't scrub the bottom of the litter pan this time so the smell would attract her to using this much nicer and cheaper litter that can't end up all over my bathroom and carpet. :p

Kylie threw up when we got home so I put her on her kennel and she fell asleep. I think she just got too anxious at PetSmart.

Unnamed Lizard is doing well too. He just ate 4 dozen pinhead crickets! I couldn't believe it! He eats his body weight in salad too.

Who else has animals??? What kind?

Lyrics

Beyond
The rim of the star-light,
my love
is wand'ring in star-flight.
I know
he'll find in star-clustered reaches,
love,
strange love a star woman teaches.
I know
his journey ends never,
his star trek
will go on forever.
But tell him
while he wanders his starry sea

Remember. remember me.
