7th October, 2008. 10:14 pm. New speakers! HELLS YES I have non-shitty speakers now. And by 'non-shitty' I mean I bought the cheapest speakers at Fry's ($20 from Logitech) and they are still a million times better than my humongously old speakers that aren't powered and were therefore SOOOO quiet. These ones are sleek, black/silver, powered, AND have a volume knob, aux jack and headphone jack :D This headphone jack is preferable to the one on my tower because it is closer to my actual head, and therefore I can wear my iPod headphones (the only ones I own, haha) without having to stay in the exact same position all the time lest I jerk the earbuds out of my durn ears. Happy day ^_^ Best $20 I've spent all month (considering my other purchases this month were things like groceries, gas and bills...I guess that's not saying much, haha). I also badgered Neko into getting another router that he will hopefully successfully set up in a closer location to my computer to bounce me (as well as the game consoles in the living room) a slightly better internet connection. Moving around my room layout is working out nicely for me so far, but moving the computer three feet to the right has made it cross that tenuous outer limit, and while it doesn't actually SAY it's lost connection to the network, I'll lose internet intermittently which I'm sure can't be unrelated. So hopefully Neko will get something set up that will help <3 YAY great housemate! Current mood: happy. Make Notes
