I got pretty damn lucky today!

I got Okami for the Wii and The World Ends with You for the Nintendo DS, awesome games by the way.

What does that have to do with being lucky? Well, since I had to pick them out to foxhack's house (a close friend of mine from the University), I went to do some errands beforehand. So I went to the mall, first to pay off my credit card bill and make time. I usually go window shopping since everything there is way expensive though sometimes you find cool stuff and the arcades there aren't that bad either. But before I exited the mall, I was actually going to another store to check out some stuff, but decided not to because I wanted to go somewhere else to buy something to drink; on my way there I saw this Internet Cafe that had some games in their window display.
I immediately saw a copy of REZ for PS2 O_O! And then saw a copy of Gitaroo Man there too! I was like "OMGWTF?!"

I got inside the store and asked if they were selling those games
They said "yeah"
"How much for REZ and GitarooMan?"
"100 pesos" (around 9usd)
At that moment I got a little skeptic... and asked if the games were original copies and if they included everything (box and manuals)
He answered yes.
"I'LL TAKE THEM!!!"

So I got to Foxhack's house and showed him what I got, hehehe.
I'm now the happy owner of Okami, The World Ends with You, REZ and Gitaroo Man
=D

I definitely had a great day today, best teachers day. So I'm kinda busy most of the time.

My car broke down like 3 times in less than 2 months. I spent almost $1000usd fixing it... yeah I could've payed the down payment for a new one, but I don't have a lot money as you know, so I need my car, but now it's as good as new.

I haven't anything but work.
The death and rebirth of my PS2

Yeah, my PS2 was dying... it was not reading any discs at all. No DREs, it just didn't read discs.
I was worried that I would have to buy a new one, and specially now that I don't have any money, though I thought it did a good run, it was 5 years and half old, and it only gave me DREs on blue discs, which I don't have (well, except for Gradius V, but I get it to work). And specially since a friend of mine also has his PS2 broken right now (what a coincidence, I know) and it was having the same problem as mine, though he opened it and he found the problem, his PSlim 2 wasn't working, the fliptop is not making enough contact to make the laser move.
Ok, so he now needs his PS2 repaired, he asked me to lend him mine, but that's where I found out of my own problem...

All that happened Thursday, now yesterday (Friday), I came from work and opened the console to see if I could fix it, I first cleaned the lens and removed all dirt (or most of it), tried the console and surprisingly it worked, it was working better than ever! Not even DREs on blue discs! So now my PS2 has an 2nd chance and now I can play calmed knowing that my PS2 has at least some life in it. ^_^

"Yeah, they're always in debt...", I thought, though this time is more serious... so serious, that now I'm broke. Hell, I can even afford to buy her a present for Mother's day!
Oh well, I think this help can count as something... =P

I also wanted to get Pokeymans! but that will have to wait for a while...
(my little bro, already has it... ='(... )
And also a play and charge kit for my 360 controller, since batteries aren't cheap...

I hope I can post some good news the next time I update.
Maybe Spider-Man 3 will be good
=D

P.S. The String Quartet is my new music addiction.
They're awesome!!!!

My family is on vacation these days, but since I have to work I couldn't go, but thank god! I needed a break from them.
I can currently do what I want, whenever I want ^_^

I returned to work this week, and it's been kinda busy since exams are due next week, and I have to prepare for them. And the last ones didn't turned out good...
Next week will flow away quick though. =P
And also I'm having problems with a group I have... only troublemakers... and there's specially this one girl who is totally against me for some reason. What reason? I seriously don't have a freaking idea...
But fortunately, and ironically, they're are my best group, grade-wise, so it kinda evens out.

Now for some gaming note, Boom Boom Rocket is awesome and kinda hard, even for a experienced CCR (Controller Controller Revolution) player like me, but still lots of fun, pretty addictive too. Though the achievements are kinda easy, kinda, if you play a lot, I'm just missing one achievement and it looks pretty easy to do. Oh and the music is pretty cool, classical music remixed.

All for now. Zya.

P.S. Mexicali climate is pretty weird... a few days ago is was hot now it's windy... if it were me I would say it snow next week, but that seriously won't happen.

HOLY SHIT! AN UPDATE!

It all has been ups and downs, so here's a deft summary of this past 3 months.

Got fired from TelVista, and it was kind of a good thing, more free time. I spent almost a month searching for a job, and got it, as a teacher, so I'm now GTD, Great Teacher Deft! Though I haven't been payed because I need a school paper that says that I graduated from University/College, luckly that all has been settled and now I can get payed.

Though my job is not the best in the world because I'm teaching in Dangerous Minds kinda school... but I'm getting the hang of it. Though it's still pretty tough because they don't know absolutely nothing about English... I think I'm the first English teacher they had in a long time. My patience has been also been put to the test... more than being a Customer Service Agent...

The other teachers there are pretty good people to hang with. ^_^
The other sucky thing about this job is that I have to get up a 6am... =P
But considering the other things I have to deal with, that is the least of my problems.

I also got an Xbox 360 like a week before getting fired from Telvista. XD
Good timing, ain't it?

Gears of War is totally awesome, and Viva Piñata is not totally kiddy and it's pretty addictive.

As final words of this deft-summary, Gameloft can go and suck my dick. I totally fit for the job but NOOOOO, they don't need my services right now, and what do they do? Hire people who know shit about it... DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Well that's all for now. I hope I can update more regularly this time.
hehehe.

(though I drank 6 shots =O)

And I'm Happy for Happy Sky, that game owns!

And I also wish a Happy Holiday to all.
^_^

(Btw, I work tomorrow... =P
but triple pay, yay! =D)

A photo clerk, or photo associate, as we call them, called to ask for "credit" (kinda like a refund) for an order a customer placed for a calendar.

<associo wrong="" all="" was="" it="" because="" ordered="" customer="" a="" calendar="" for="" thing="" of="" type="" refund="" credit="" wanted=""> I said, "Ok, lets check the system". There were two orders for the same customer, 2 different sizes of calendars, I checked the one the clerk was talking ot to my surprise the order was kinda messed up, it had a duplicate image, and the customer wanted 2. Ok, no prob., lets do a redo for this. I said to the clerk to describe me the photo that was missing to check for it on the order we had on the system, since she didn't know exactly, she passed me to the customer. "This may get ugly...", I thought.
Ok, I told the customer that we have 2 orders for her on the system, the one she had there at the store and an order for two smaller sized calendars that it was shipped recently. She told me that she didn't order the bigger calendar, she had ordered the 2 smaller ones. Hmmm... mix up on the system or screw up from the clerks...? most definetely the latter... but since it was also a screw up on our part, not totally but partial, it was still my duty to help the customer, so I was going to make the notes on the system for it. But first, the customer wanted to check on the other order to see if it was right. Ok, no problem by me, it's better because maybe there was a mess up also and we needed to redo them...
She told me that she ordered calendars a year ago, and "we" screwed them up (oh... what a surprise... *rolls eyes*). We redid them, but she got them way past Christmas... mid-January... but she still hoped that we can do a good job this year (talk about blind faith).
To our surprise there only was one mess-up, an image in a month of the calendar got mixed with another month, other than that it was good. So the customer said that she'll accept those anyway, since it's a minor mixup, not to influential, so I told her again that those calendars were shipped and they should be in the store soon, and I told her about the credit for the other calendar, then she asked me that if she can keep it to show it to her sons that were on College since those calendar were a gift for them (the calendar is of her sons growing-up, awwww), I said to her that the store needs to keep the calendar in case we need it back, just for personal records, then she told me that she didn't mind and that she'll pay for the messed up calendar. "Uh... No problem then. Uh... Is there anything else I can help with?", "No that should be all.". Wow... "Thanking for calling Ms. and have a nice day.".

On training we were thought the FISH philosophy, one of the 4 mottos is "Make Their Day", well maybe I did made her day, but she totally made mine. I talked about this call with some co-workers and my supervisor and they laughed also at this call, since it one of those rare calls we seriously don't expect to end that way.

And most happen to me. XD

On another note, Happy Sky! My copy got shipped yesterday and I'm so happy. And last week my copy of Gyakuten Saiban was delivered, yay. Though I haven't got much to play it though... but I finished the first case =O, it was awesome!

BTW, Chivas FTW. Club Deportivo Guadalajara "Chivas", 101 years making history, and 11 Championships in the making. ^_^

</associo>

I'm still deciding between a Motorola U6 (MotoPEBL), a MotoKRZR (though if it's free only...), and a w300 (Sony-Ericsson mp3 Walkman phone). Though I have to get approved for the plan so it's not sure I'm getting either of those phones... though I'm leaning towards over the U6 since it comes in green. Green is my fav. color; though there are other factors that I have to see if I'm getting that phone or w300; but if the MotoKRZR is free I'll take that one. =P

BTW, have I told you how much I love deftones new album.
=D
